Krishna: Excellent food. Some spicy some sweet. The paranthas were great. However they just opened under new management a week ago and hadn't stocked up yet. Kitchen ran out of some items after our order was taken. Also they only had plastic cutlery and plates and napkins were cut in half to economize. Server was very friendly but not trained to bring water or cutlery or plates. Prices quite cheap, a real bargain for the quality.

Sutanu Karmakar: I visited this place today and I had their chicken biriyani for dinner. It was PERFECT in test, huge in amount, and comparetively cheap. It reminded me of my home coocked meals. This restaurant has a wide variety of sweets as well. The persons running the place were very gentle and humble. They even gave me a free sample of their sweets. Overall- highly recommemded place for getting bengali food and sweets near University of Manitoba.
Alex Butt: Its a desi sweets and vegetarian lunch spot. Lots off sweets from Jalebi to gulab jamun and all that good stuff is available. They have a thaali lunch option from different vegetable option such as chana batura mix vegetable paneer to choose from with puri and halwa and their mango lassi slaps too. In the the north of Pembina highway approximately 10 minutes from University of Manitoba decent spot.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options to choose fromParking: Somewhat difficult to find plaza is generally busy.

Snehil Dua: Love the food there! Tastes simply awesome, and is always fresh.The service could be better. I understand slow service as they are serving fresh food and probably don’t have too much staff, trying to keep their costs low.I just don’t understand why they take away the menus right away, and then disappear. They try to give you one menu card for 2-3 people and are very eager to take it away. That means, if something wants to order more, they would have to go ask for the menu. This may require you to wait further as you may not find anyone to ask for the menu. It feels like they don’t want you to order more. I think they would benefit from looking into this.But I love their dosas!Vegetarian options: It’s hard to find good vegetarian food. This is what makes me go back there.

Robert Lethbridge: We visited this restaurant after being ignored at another downtown Indian restaurant. The difference was instantaneous the ambiance, the service and the personnel. Our server Katrina was exceptional courteous, diligent and amazing recall got the whole order for 4 people without writing it down! I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in many countries including India and the quality of the food here is exceptional! Our visit was Monday night not always the best evening to eat out but the restaurant was crowded always a good sign would recommend it!

Eric Zbrog: I ordered the butter chicken naan chickpea combo which was super cheap in cost yet volume of food super high. Absolutely nothing wrong with how it tasted either. Though chickpea in sauce was a little too spicy.The amount of food I got with this order for the price is insane I can't wrap my mind around it.Thank you for such a fantastic combo serving and cost. I will regularly be ordering from you guys from now on. Finally a restaurant not absolutely robbing their customers because of "inflation".Butter chicken looked a little different from what I'm used to seeing but was really tasty! Naan was great too.
