Peter C: Sit down full service dining unlike the US that is typically counter Service. This location also accepts reservations.Overall very good. Had the feast with brisket for 3 adults and two kids. There was enough leftovers for easily one extra meal. Only compliant was the original portion of brisket was a joke, three small slices. This was brought to the servers attention and he brought out a proper portion of about 6 slices.Brisket was super tender, light smoke. Ribs had good pull of the bone. Chicken was moist and flavorful. In-laws really enjoyed it. My wife had the 1 meat combo and had the fried cod. Portion was good, 6 pieces, crispy but still moist. Decent alternative for those that do not eat meat. The onion strings were hot and crispy, good as an appetizer an also a crunchy topping for the BBQ.Restaurant is very big, we had to wait 30 min to be seated, not sure why as their was space, maybe to pace the kitchen and servers. Ample parking. Worth a visit, this may be the best BBQ in Winnipeg.

Food was great tri-tip was over cooked.Dietary restrictions: Probably the best Gluten Free options around. Its pretty much just meat, and the sides are almost all Gluten Free as well.

Sameer Saiyed: We came from Vancouver and upon arrival we found very less Halal options and finally arrived at Barbecue Hut. We are very glad that the food was delicious, authentic Pakistani and the ambience was also traditional Pakistani. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and polite. Although the area was a little bit sketchy, but the food and ambience was amazing. Highly recommend, must visit, best food!!

Everything was fresh and beyond delicious we kept licking fingers after food was finished that is how tasty and scrumptious it was. They owner was kind and candid and called to explain something that was out of stock and asked for replacement. We finally know where to order when hungry for a good quality filling meal. Sam Sam: It's a nice restaurant, clean, well set up. It was a full restaurant, and they probably could have used at least one more server. They were very quick to bring out the first round of dishes for all you can eat foods. But they were fairly slow on the follow-up orders. Some dishes were just not the greatest quality for what you would expect. Some things that should be served cold were actually warm 😞. We had to ask to have our stove top to be changed as it was just too dirty for the food to cook on anymore.The menu for all you can eat is huge, like amazing and so many good choices. It was not quite up to the BC standards that I am used to, but it was good.

It was Amazingly deliciousWe had Ribs, 1/2 rack each was like a full rack each anywhere else.So good, was served with Collard Greens , unbelievable Beans, Corn Bread, and coleslaw , simple yet the best I have ever had. I have eaten at several restaurants when I was in the travel business, this is unique. This is cooked with a Southern style that you cannot get anywhere else in Winnipeg. ***** 5 star plus for this restruant and staffIf you are even catering for a Group, call this guy.

John Schwartz: Just went to Smokin Hawg barbeque and really enjoyed the ribs. We ordered 1/2 rack and the portion was huge with 2 sides plus coleslaw and corn bread. Ribs are smoked with chef made sauce on the side. Service was fast and very friendly. Loved the blues music playing in the background. It is located in Harborview Park and it is easy to miss turnoff in the dark. Well worth the trip for the best ribs in Winnipeg.

R Antonio Urquiza A: From the moment the experience arrives, it is very nice, the staff offered us options for us to sit down, then the waiter was very friendly and made different recommendations on food and drinks.In the end, we let ourselves be convinced by one of the photos on the menu and the description of another dish, at first, the flavors seem a bit strong, the spices stand out, but as the palate gets used to the combinations of flavors or sensational, definitely , this place has become one of our other new favorites and we will be going back soon, we need to keep learning about the menu

Cory Schleicher: Came here for my wife's 40th birthday they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but you have to pay if you want some good eating. The hostess was very friendly and very quick at finding us a table. Waitress was very quick at bringing out the starters and always on top of getting refills out to us in a timely manner.

Wealth Mindset: Great place and atmosphere. Was a little cold in the restaurant but otherwise great. Started with miso soup 🍲 it was ok nothing amazing. Service was prompt and on key. Everything ordered was out to us quickly.We ordered the unlimited meats at $39.99Ordered the takoyaki and that was delicious.Meats are sliced thin and seasoned well enough. My son says that they needed more seasoning. You decide but I did not think they were lacking. We tried all the pork chicken and beef and was not disappointed.Side dishes were tasty. We received pickled cucumber, spiced bean sprouts, kimchi and it was all good.Popcorn shrimp was good, gayoza and spring rolls were tasty.Vegetables we ordered were Edamame, bell pepper, pineapple, mushrooms and zucchini and they were sliced well and good portion.To top it all off we had a pistachio icecream and it was really good not too sweet to taste.The restaurant gives you 1hour and 30 mins to cook and eat. It was more than enough time as we had 40mins left and we were full. I would recommend this place to eat at again as we did have a good time only thing is that it was cold and it could be just because of the spot we were in. Sorry forgot the photos
harshey santisteban: ive always been a fan of samgyeopsal/korean bbq. so, i had to try this!! first i wanna address the quality of the meat bc its such a good qualityy fr. it wasnt super thin where if you start cooking it it would shrink like half the size and not too thick either where if its too thick it’ll take forever to cook, but the size/thickness was just right. i always have to have sauce at other places bc the meat are too blant but here i barely touched the sauces cos it was so tasteful like one bite yardy kno the flavour is theree!!one more thing, ive never had takoyaki bc im a pickyyy eater istg. my close friends would know!! but their takoyaki tho… idk the right words to describe. its so good!alsoo!! not enough ppl talks about this but you get a bell button on each table so if ur ready to order or if u needed assistance u just press that button. i just think this is so handy to have bc u wouldn’t have to stare or awkwardly wave ur hand from across the room to the server to get assistance. the staff was very nice too, great service! def be back for hot pot next time!!

Mike C: Perfect temp with cream cheese on the inside, outstanding. Ordered beef ribs, if I go there 25 times I will order the beef ribs 24 times. Great flavor,tender and not dry at all. Sides were fries and veggies both cooked perfectly my guess is they change they're oil regularly for the fries. Wife had pork ribs, not sloppy, meaty and delicious. Baked potato was hot and fluffy. Our server MacKenzie was cheerful, welcoming and informative. Overall could not ask for a better server. Chef came out and asked us about our experience so far, we both gave 2 thumbs up. Conclusion: we've found our regular go to restaurant and will be recommending to friends.Will give reviews as we order other meals.
