This time it was to replace an iComfort thermostat that had quit. The same young and polite service man named Brian from our previous service call came and had everything done within 3 hours from the time we called their service department. Thank you Brian. You are definitely a professional in your field. We highly recommend Balcaen & Sons for the great service they provide and the great people they have working for them.From February 18, 2022This is the second time we use Balcaen & Sons in the last 2 years. Previous review from 2 years ago is below this one. The reason we called Balcaen & Sons again was because of the great service they had given us previously. This afternoon, our furnace quit and would not not come on so I phoned their service department around 2:30PM. A young and polite service man named Brian arrived at our house about 45 minutes later and he had everything working just fine within an hour. That is great service!! Thank your Brian and thank you to your service department staff. It took less then 2 hours from the time of calling their service department to the time repairs were done. Balcaen & Sons will certainly continue to have my business in the future with this kind of service. We highly recommend them.This next review was from 2 years ago:We got up this Sunday morning to a cold house. Furnace was not working. Phone Balcaen & Sons to see if they could come out. The gentleman on the 24 hour help line took my information and told me a service man would call me. Within 5 minutes, the service man did call and I told him about our problem and he told me that he could probably be over in about an hour or so. His name was Mike B. He came over as he said, diagnosed the problem and then told us a switch needed to be replaced. He was able to get the switch and was back at our house within a couple of hours and got the furnace going. I could not ask for a nicer and more courteous young service man. Thanks Mike B. for the wonderful service you gave us.

Despite numerous attempts to seek clarity on what the individual was saying I could barely understand the representative. It was the very worst experience I have ever had with any call centre. Why oh why is someone not monitoring foreign accents? And why must North American countries still use these foreign call centres but for only one reason: cheap labour…and it shows.
