Sean Lancaster works with me and has been amazing to work with, highly recommend to anyone wanting to not only learn but improve their game always go home with tips and techniques to work on. Have the video of practice to review, and techniques to work on in between practices. Could not ask for a better learning environment. Quite often even text and talk off hours with reminders of things to work on if we are not scheduled to see each other due to my travel or work he still keeps in touch, always encouraging! The Singing Chimney Sweep: I called today to set up an appointment. I was shocked at how long the wait list was. Over a month!! My customers go through the same shock. Honestly it was comforting because there must be a reason for the wait. The reason must be quality.I spoke to a very professional and courteous employee by the name of "Nick". He answered all of my questions, engaged in some small talk, and just overall was a pleasure to deal with. Nick also suggested I go on the waiting list in case something came up sooner due to cancellation. Nick was very informative and transparent about pricing. Honestly....this type of employee is hard to come by. Great job Nick! Bernice Sinnock: My name is Jack Sinnock. I have been swinging my golf clubs the wrong way for 60 years. I usually hit a slice and over the last 10 years have lost a lot of distance. After 4 lessons from Golftec I no longer slice the ball and I am increasing my distance. This is my second year with Golftec and I can't wait for spring so we can work on my short game. Unbelievable improvement in my swing. I dropped 25 strokes last year

Bo Woods: .Their video technology gives you a rear view and a side view of your swing. This gives you a really good idea of what's going on in your swing and allows the instructors to do a side-by-side comparison of your swing with pre-recorded PGA/LPGA Tour pros' swing. They have a huge database of swings so you can find most of the pros that you have probably heard of. Doing this helps you and the instructor to better understand your swing and shows you what positions you should be getting into at various points in the swing for more consistent ball striking. They also place sensors on you which tell you exactly how much you are turning your hips and shoulders as well as how much shoulder tilt you have. This allows you and your instructor to figure out exactly what parts of your body could be throwing off your timing and limiting your ball striking consistency. The sensors are especially helpful for the first couple lessons. I had no clue what a proper shoulder turn should feel like in the backswing and we were able to determine that I was only turning my shoulders about 65 degrees when ideally you would want to be around 90 degrees at the top of your swing. Being hooked up to the sensors made it easy to figure out what positions I needed to get myself into for a proper turn. Also, as a mid 20-year old golfer, we initially found out that I had way too much early turn in my downswing and since then we have worked on significantly lowering that to improve my timing and distance.GolfTEC also offers outdoor short game lessons at Southwood. I have taken outdoor putting, green-side bunker, fairway bunker, chipping, and 60–100 yard approach shot lessons. All of these were very helpful and I'd highly recommend any of those for someone who's really into their golf—especially the putting lesson on proper set up and putting stroke technique!The price is a little bit high compared to lessons at a golf course, however, the indoor video practice time is definitely worth it during the long winter months in Winnipeg. If you're willing to practice regularly throughout your lesson plan and push yourself to learn you should definitely see significant improvement over time.

If your not into golf, the food is great, drinks prices are amazing, and you can play pool and watch the football/hockey game.We will definitely be back on our next date night.Try the popcorn!!

Anna Banana: Had soooo much fun in this dome! This place is super cool and awesome! There are lots of fun activities that you can do to enjoy. They have indoor driving range, miniature golf, virtual golf, and billiard tables. They have a snack bar too if you want to have a break from playing, and indulge for some drinks or munch something. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. The Golf Dome is also perfect for beginners who wants to try golf as sports. A great place to spend time with your friends or family, not only during winter season but all year round.

We especially want to thank Bailey who was incredibly helpful from the first phone call we made to Rossmere all the way through to her efforts that went above and beyond on the big day. Her help with planning and running the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner and even helping to return some things we had forgotten at the venue on the day of were very appreciated!We can’t thank the team at Rossmere enough - it is an amazing wedding venue staffed with amazing people and we will be recommending it to everyone looking for a great spot to get married!
