After months of research and taking time to visit each facility, speak to the sales people, see the product, I settled on Duxton Windows and Doors.Here is why -I dealt specifically with Project Manager Conally. From the onset I found him to be very professional, and knowledgeable. He took the initiative to spend the time with me explaining their product. To the smallest detail. I didn't experience this when visiting some of the competitors, yet here I was treated with patience and respect. No question went unanswered, and if Conally didn't have the information, rest be assured I had an email shortly thereafter.I hadn't made a decision as it came down to two companies... Duxton and a competitor. I had another question of the entry door so I made my way down to Duxton to chat with Conally. He wasn't immediately available, so I waited.A fellow walked by me asking if I was someone he knew as I looked familiar to him. I wasn't. The fellow was smartly dressed, and he came from the back offices where the others worked. I jokingly asked if he was the president. Turns out he was. He welcomed me and asked if there was anything he could help me with. I just advised that I was waiting for Conally. We chatted a little more, telling him why I was there. He then asked if I would be interested in a tour of their factory to see how things were done. I was kind of shocked of the offer as I was just a customer off the street and he didn't know me. So, I delightfully accepted as things like this interest me.During the tour what immediately stood out was the reception of all the staff to the president and how they interacted with one another. There was nothing but fist pumps and pleasant banter back and forth... and that was with everyone. We must have interacted with over 150 staff members. Everyone had smiles on their faces and you could just tell the working atmosphere was super positive and diverse. This was such a pleasant experience to walk into and be a part of. I was introduced like I was "one of the family". Again, normally unheard of, as I am just a customer.This atmosphere where everyone enjoyed their working environment is what sold me on Duxton Windows. A happy place is a good place to work, and that was evident. From my experiences, when people are appreciated and respected they will go above and beyond for their employer. On the opposite, if people are subdued, don't feel appreciated or respected... they simply will not put in the effort and the product will suffer.Another point to note was the delivery schedule of my windows. They were initially scheduled to be delivered the last week of July. They were on schedule. Unfortunately, that morning we had a tornado warning in my area and a torrential downpour, so I called Conally to cancel. This was not a problem whatsoever despite the windows being already loaded up that morning and were ready to be delivered. Within hours I received an email and phone call confirming another date early the following week. Weekend comes and we had a tragedy in the family. Emailed Conally and explained my situation. No questions asked. Delivery canceled and another date and time confirmed.The windows and doors arrived on the third re-scheduling, which was this past Tuesday. Glazing scheduled immediately as well.Exceptional customer service!!!I can't say enough about my positive experiences dealing with Duxton Windows and Doors.Amazing product, exceptional customer service, and I was treated like family.Moving forward, I would highly recommend Duxton Windows and Doors.
