Xiaolei Deng: Awaze Tibs was great. Nice flavor and strong kick. A busy place past lunch hours reflects how popular this place is. A lot of customers seem like regulars here. Service was also very kind and detailed. The dishes were cooked fresh so it might take some time, but definitely worth it!I have seen the quite unique table in the shape of baskets. I was in a hurry so I didn't stay to observe how it is used by the gentlemen sitting there. Will be back and ask next time.

David Johnson: I'll add my raves about the food. We recently moved to winnipeg from a neighborhood full of Ethiopian restaurants and were worried we wouldn't find decent Ethiopian food here. Those concerns have been set aside as Habesha is as good as anything we've had before! The prices too are excellent. One of the combo plates is enough for two people.

John Smith: Amazing little restaurant with amazing food! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to try Ethiopian food.

Josh Basman: Be sure to come hungry! The portions are great delicious. Excellent for all spicy food lovers! Id come here again!Dietary restrictions: They made us some rice for a Gluten Free friend which meant no injera but SO nice to have that option so we can come with friends!!! I'll c

Laura Schmidli: We had the lentil samosa, timatim fit-fit, and the veggies combo and all were delicious! Everything was very fresh, and the hot sauce was 🔥. I seek out Ethiopian restaurants while traveling, and this one is really, really good. The restaurant is up on the second floor away from the traffic and is clean and well decorated, and the server is friendly.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are plentiful, clearly labeled on the menu, and tasty.

Rob B: I was a long time fan of Masawa, the previous Ethiopian restaurant in the same location, and was sad to hear that it had closed as it was a favourite to visit whenever I returned to Winnipeg.Well ... Mesob is great as well. The menu is similar, the food has a different taste, but is equally delicious. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the service was superb. If you want some great food and a fantastic experience, give Mesob a try.Vegetarian options: Full vegan options available.

Ronnie Mikkelson: .Vegetarian options: Best veggie/gluten free options you can find!!!

Kokeb Restaurant: what do users think?

Kait Evinger: super friendly staff talked me into a veggie samosa to start. Green lentil filling was a nice suprise and came with a bangin garlic chili hot sauce/salsa. Bold, complex flavours and a crazy big portion. I will absolutely be back. Non-food related perks included the owner refusing to change his soccer game to jets for a drunk guy and a dj setting up and starting to play Patsy Cline around 9.Vegetarian options: great veggie combo and very affordable, staff is friendly and accommodating

Engocha Ethiopian Food Truck: what do users think?

Miranda Ferraro: After following them online for a while, I finally had a chance to try Engocha’s food today and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the mixed combination and the vegetarian combination and both were phenomenal. The injera was fluffy and delicious and each component of the meals were perfectly seasoned, and flavourful without being greasy. Their injera is made from 100% teff flour which is naturally gluten free. I have not found another restaurant in the city that serves gluten free injera without a minimum of 2 days notice. Do yourself a favour and try their food. You won’t regret it.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly.

Morgan Taverner: , created a harmonious marriage of textures and flavors that was both filling and satisfying. What truly impressed me about this Ethiopian food truck was the authenticity of their cuisine. It felt like a culinary journey to Ethiopia. The staff members were warm, friendly. They patiently answered all my questions, providing recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. In conclusion, if you're looking to embark on a culinary adventure that will transport you to the vibrant and diverse flavors of Ethiopia, this food truck is an absolute must-visit! Their chicken firfir alone is worth the trip. With its remarkable taste, generous portions, and attentive service, this Ethiopian gem on wheels has certainly won my heart—and my taste buds!

Chrysta Vanwalleghem: Absolutely amazing.

Daria Kostyannikova: I had their vegetarian combo with 100% teff injera and it's so delicious. Their injera is gluten free! I definitely recommend this place
