Sharayah holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling from Providence University & College and she is registered with the PACCP. Her approach with clients is both empathetic and validating, providing a safe and non-judgemental environment to work through life’s challenges.

Oribim sees individuals ages 16 and older. She has evening and weekend appointments available.


Oribim received her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutritional Science from the University of Manitoba and completed her dietetic internship with The Manitoba Partnership Dietetic Education Program (MPP). She acknowledges that everyone has unique nutritional needs and therefore tailors her nutrition recommendations to the individual.

We offer a full range of services for the treatment of eating disorders. We help individuals with mild to severe challenges with body image, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, overeating, and challenges related to these difficulties that do not clearly fit into one of these categories.

We also help individuals who are looking for professional outpatient services after completing inpatient care for eating challenges in a hospital setting.

Having an eating disorder can lead to struggles with food, weight and body image which can negatively impact our self-esteem and lives. Early identification and treatment is important as it increases the chances of recovery. It can sometimes be confusing to know if and when you need help with navigating your relationship with food and body. While you will need to see a doctor or psychologist to get a diagnosis, there are feelings, thoughts and behaviors that are consistent with the symptoms of an eating disorder.

Here are some common signs that you might have an eating disorder:

Experiencing body dissatisfaction or constantly worrying about your body shape or size is often seen as a symptom of an eating disorder. A negative perception of one’s body shape or size can lead to dieting and disordered eating patterns which can develop into an eating disorder.

A sign that you might have an eating disorder is if you find yourself thinking about food for most of the day, consuming large amounts of food in a short time frame or skipping meals due to fear of weight gain.
