Rob Tiley: We had recently moved to Winnipeg and wanted to replace all the window treatments. We were referred to Blind-Shiners and are pleased we were. Gord Buczko was/is very knowledgeable and helpful in fulfilling our needs. He listened to our requirements and preferences and then went over several options and choices. For fabric and colours he allowed us to take some samples home to view in our home environment.We placed our order with Blind-Shiners on November 26th, expecting the blinds to be delivered the next year. We were very surprised when we heard from Gord just before Christmas. Our blinds were delivered and installed on December 24th. The installer, Lance was even better than the best. Very polite and courteous as well as being extremely professional.We went for a fully automated blind system, rechargeable canisters, remotes and since we purchased 9 blinds in total the WIFI controller. Lance took the time to ensure everything worked and showed us the numerous control options. Now we roll over in bed and tell "Alexa" to open the bedroom blinds. We never need to close the blinds because that happens automatically at night at our preset time.After four months of use, we finally had to plug the blind in and recharge the internal batteries. Easy to do and takes a few hours.We heartily recommend Blind-Shiners to anyone who is looking to update Window coverings. We are absolutely delighted with our entire experience with Blind-Shiners and our new Window Treatments are perfect for us.. They look fantastic and the multiple ways of controlling them is awesome. We have had lots of amazing comments from family and friends.

David Gaden: Within a couple of weeks, they had put in a brand new set of shutters for me, at no cost. And the result is wonderful.So there you go - even after 4 years, these guys will not forget you.
Ashley H: I stopped by the store in December as I was trying to match the colour of the handles on our Hunter Douglas blinds. Barbara spent a lot of time with me looking at samples to find the right match. We previously worked with Blinds & Beautiful a few years back when we got new blinds installed in our house. That time our sales consultant was Debby. Both times the customer service we received was top notch. We are currently renovating our master bedroom and will be replacing the blinds in our bedroom when the renovation is complete. I will definitely be contacting Barbara when we’re ready for our new blinds.

Laura J: I brought my drapes in that I purchased to be hemmed. They were uneven to begin with as per Shirley. I had 5 inches taken off the bottom. Shirley hemmed the drapes and went the extra mile with steaming them, so they had pleates. Drapes are the right length now and hang beautifly. Was charged a very reasonable price for hemming and received prompt service. They were done in 3 days. Would definitely give this business more than a five star rating.

There were not cut or sewn properly. We had 8 panels made and not one of them was the same size. I wanted to cry. Shirley saved the day! She came out to our home to see what the problems were and to see exactly what we were looking to have made. And to our relief she was able to take them apart and salvage them!
