Jacky Will: Stopped by and tried the beef brisket and smoked Montréal sandwiches. I was warned the brisket would be fatty, but I was not prepared for the meat to be majority fat, which made it hard to eat. The bread was nice and fresh. Nice staff.

They're not in the pic.We braised them in sweet and sour sauce for three hours. Very tender and delicious flavour. Added a quartered red bell pepper for the last 25 minutes. Totally worth it. And they were on sale. This place is the best.

Daniel Roscoe: They share a parking lot with public library which i was visiting. Popped in on way back to car to check it out. Very small but good selection, fresh, sliced meats and frozen prepared dishes. Some condiments and extras like bread as well. Friendly and helpful. Nice quality. I cooked up some farmer's sausage id bought frozen and it was slightly different from the big commercial version in Safeway but very nummy. Will definitely stock up on meat and sandwich makings next time I hit the library.

Duane Diehl: Stopped in recently to get a deli sandwich to go. Used to get them over 30 years ago. Hasn't changed much, the meat for the sandwiches is still weighed, and you get a generous amount on your bread, which is fresh. Very good sandwich. There are lots of imported items from Europe, and they have some other meat and sausages.
Frosty: I've been going here since I was a young child & it's a family favourite for sure. They have exceptionally good butchery, as well as house-made deli meats and salads. They have a wide variety of German goods. The thing I like best is the "spiced ham loaf" - a ham deli meat studded with green peppercorns. C.T. Hots: Amazing spot, only problem is the hours. Why meat stores unanimously decided to go with bankers hours is beyond me. Every butcher would double, triple or even quadruple their profit from fixing this major mistake in functionality. Why would you be open all day and close when everyone gets off of their day jobs? To serve people that dont work? How much can someone who doesn't work afford? It is a backwards and ,frankly, idiotic marketing strategy that every butcher adheres to. Makes about as much sense as Karen canceling her order because of an exposed nose.
Nicholas Malboeuf: So glad I found this hidden Jem, I spent few weeks hunting for Farmer sausage that equalled Steinbach's. Some how missed it was 2 minutes away and drove all over the city. Now I'm in there twice a week getting both German and Hungarian sausage. My family is Hungarian so this was Bonus I can't stop ordering LOL.

OICU812: It’s very rare to find a business such as this, first of all every person that works here is beyond kind and courteous! Everything that is made here is just bang on and as authentic as it gets. Jan is a master at his craft, he’s just a great person. Stop in and see the man, you can see for yourself! If you’re ever in the market to have your wild game processed, you will never find a better place. You can take my word for it but I suggest everyone try these things for yourself, you won’t be disappointed I guarantee it!!!
