Dwarf no Cachette Café & Gift: what do users think?

Glen Doty: I’m being a little generous at 4 to be honest. The dumplings were good, but the Miso soup was greasy and under flavoured. I’ll apologize for not taking the names to memory, but we had an octopus-based appetizer. The protein pieces that were by themselves were very good, but the ones in the ball shapes were undone by the poor cookery of filling. Chicken Kaarage was overly crunchy, to the point of concern for the inside of my mouth. Dish came with some tasty accompaniments, though.

Oleksandr Yaniuk: It doesn’t look like typical Japanese restaurant, more European; it doesn’t look fancy and luxury; it’s not big but very cozy place. And the food and flavours are amazing!Especially recommend ramen, okonomiyaki and takoyaki

Zetta: Good food and customer service. Place needs a bit of touch up.

Coworkers322: Simply the Best Ramen in WPG!!

e e: the gift shop was also super cute and nice to visit after eating!! the only thing I was sad about was us forgetting our takeout containers/leftovers on the counter cuz it was so tasty and we wanted to finish it plus it costed alot💔💔

Morgan Massicotte: with pork, rice noodles and a fresh soft boiled egg was prepared instead of the soya sauce infused one. The ramen was delicious. My spouse had the ramen combo 3: shoyu ramen extra spicy with gyoza and karage.

M L: One of the few Japanese restaurants in the city that's not serving just sushi. In fact, I don't think they serve sushi at all.Been ordering take out here for years and food has always been consistent. We decided dine in for the first time in a while. The food was even better fresh and the service was great. The interior is very cute and eclectic. They had a store upstairs selling cute Japanese accessories and knickknacks. Not sure if they still have that though. They have a fairly large menu with lots of option. I recommend the Donburis and Okonomiyakis. The portion is pretty big for the price.

The food was very delicious and authentic Korean cuisine, the service was exceptional and the ambience was comfortable and friendly. I highly recommend it! Daniel Roscoe: I've been coming here for 30+ years. Compared to some places the prices are a bit steep, but the food is good, really good. One of the best places to eat in general on Campus. I know that's not saying much these days, but it is still a nice place serving good foodIf you are souping, the best deal is the big bowl, the half bowls are more than half the cost , but a big bowl is pretty much a meal on it's own.

Alex B-N: Best food on campus!

Chukwuebuka Stephen Idafum: Wonderful food and wonderful people

Daniel Pepple: Good food

Julien Arino: I like that 4 days out of 5, saying "the special" gets me something different without having to think about how to achieve variety.

Miss Gayle: Good meals!

Chris Thiessen: Love this place! Great hidden gem at the u of m. Cheap breakfast and a huge menu selection! Great Fair Trade coffee too!

aleme yazdanian: Yummy persian food ❤️Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Kashk Bademjan, Zereshk Polo with Chicken, Beef Koobideh …

Mahsa Ghaffari: We ordered Kabab and Gheyme Bademja. I liked the Kabab, especially the Barg, but the stew was not the best. Also the rice portions are too generous.

Mo: Amazing service, Amazing food

Gary Doel: A very friendly family restaurant with a geat owner and his wife that does the cooking. I made the mistake of ordering the falafel. They themselves were very good but for me there was very poor value for money with a couple of falafel and a plate full of dry pita bread. I opted for a beef kebab on the side and it was delicious.. I was impressed with what they had done with some ground beef. I would order the kebab again but would not recommend the falafel at all. My wife had a stew with the rice and some saffron rice on top. It was very good and I would for sure return and try some other dishes.

L'Arche Tova Cafe: what do users think?

Kay: Small quaint place with polite service.I see some reviews where they say the service is slow. But we came during a very bust Saturday lunch and the service was fast and the food came out quite quickly. Also very well priced. Hard to find a place these days that will serve eggs, meat, potato and toast breakfast for $8. Impressive.Their hollandaise sauce is fantastic and homemade. And thier bread is made in house as well.Kudos to the chef. Good food.Only negatives are that it is small and can get loud, and the seating is a bit close together. Also closes quite early. But otherwise, I had a great experience and would come back.

dancing2myownsong: This was my first time visiting this cafe and it was just amazing!!! Friendly atmosphere and service! Food is a good price for the quality and quantity you get! Their coffee blend is delicious and their dill potato bread is unreal! A real gem in the community. You will leave with a smile and a full belly! You gotta eat here!Wheelchair accessibility: All one level with automatic door button and wide areas to maneuver.

Chrisanne Victor: It's our first time at Tova and it was excellent experience 😃, love the garlic toast, just the right amount of garlic, we ordered a chicken sandwich platter with rye bread so creamy and lovely so were the housemade fride right amount of crunch and bake, THE CINNAMON BUNS are to die for, if you are thinking just go grab them, and make it like they suggest you, grilled with extra icing on the top just the best cinnamon buns in town love it love it love it 😍.

Graba Sandwich: I'm not a regular like my Dad, but the food and service has always been great!

Carolyn Usick: I had a craving for breakfast out. So, with supporting local in mind I went to L'arche Tova today. I ordered coffee with cream to go with my Denver Sandwich and home potatoes. It came hot, the pieces of ham were juicy. The peppers and onions mixed with cheese on their in house made potato dill bread was amazing. I ordered a loaf of the potato dill and the last two small cinnamon buns to go. Their cinnamon buns taste just like my Mom used to make.As the guy off the "you gotta eat here says", I highly recommend it!

Camilla Wohlgemuth: My husband and I are trying all the coffee shops in Winnipeg! Staff and environment pleasant and inviting! The coffee was great too, other than next time we would not get the added shot of espresso. Also abit on the pricey side.

Jim Van Meggelen: Right inside the front door of the library, so easy to get to. Large seating area with tons of outlets in the floor. Friendly service. Delicious Morning Glory muffins, and a nicely executed decaf Americano.

Kathy Nguyen: Super great vibes to study or meet up with friends to chat. They have a lot of a seating that are filled with sunlight. I also got a vanilla latte and it was delicious! The coffee beans are from Little Sisters, so I wasn't surprised that it was so good.

Anna Marie: Nice location and good seating. Coffee is good, but nothing out of this world. Still a great place when you want to support local!

Sidney Shapira: We had a lovely pit stop at Folio Café in the Canadian Mennonite University camous on Grant at Shaftsbury, after an outing to Fort Whyte Alive. We had a lovely coffee and a cookie and took in thd besutiful surroundings on a sunny Winter day. Can't wait to go back in the Summer!

candy py: This place made me feel like I was in a dark academia movie scene so magnificient and elegant 😍. When I visited this Cafe it was closed but the manager was really sweet, he gave us free coffee and a delicious lemon cheesecake. This is a heritage spot it was actually known as Hotel Olympia but got renamed toThe Marlborough Hotel.
