Millennium Library (Winnipeg Public Library main branch): what do users think?

Joseph Jithin: The Library is big and clean with lot of space but not much good space to sit in peace. The parking fee was $9 for 2 hours for underground parking, better to park outside.

Ирина Ракоча: A wonderful library. It is central to Winnipeg and is located in Downtown.

Vladimir Khranovsky: Millennium library

taghridsaleh: It was very well

Ricky Green: I've had some very good experiences with the security here. A gentleman slowly approached me to tell me they're closing. Very gracious and professional. Only Tice I can recall. Once very long ago security at the front accusationally felt up my jacket. Then recently an older lady was immensely rude. I immediately video taped my talk about de-escalation and security concepts. I had to tell this one how to do her job.The front door has improved, I even let in a joke here and there. I do enjoy making them smile. Which otherwise would be a potentially dangerous job.Mostly very quiet to the point one can think. Usual library noises. All this helps ones thoughts. I can accredit some great ideas typing here. What a great view unto the rear garden.May we never ban books.

Oksana Denysyuk: The Millennium Library in Winnipeg is a true gem! It offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, a wide collection of books and resources, and modern, spacious design. The staff is helpful, and there are plenty of cozy seating areas. The library hosts events and programs, making it a fantastic community hub. It's the perfect place for learning, relaxation, and connecting with fellow book lovers.

Beautiful Soul: My favorite library to go to. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Transcona Library: what do users think?

Rosita Lopez: This library is fantastic.Great resources super place to get work done. Nice and bright, it's got it all.

lhoraine aldana: Nice and clean library. Have a small meeting room who can occupy around 50 people, I guess. Washrooms are also clean.

Marlene Wasnick: Yes.....a great resource for our community. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere

Carl Clark: Very nice and bright place. Seems to hold slightly less books than most other library branches though.

Viktoria: I was helped quickly with the renewal of my library card. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The library itself is big and spacious and the open concept is inviting, however, the selection of books was rather sparse and some section felt like they were missing altogether. It is too new and beautiful of a library to be so poorly stocked.Still it is worth a visit with plenty of study and reading spaces.

Nate Abarca: and the noise that comes with. If I was a parent, great place. So, don’t come here unless you like ambient noise or have a good pair of headphones. I personally don’t mind it. Nor did anyone else when I was here. If your tolerance is low for this, probably go elsewhere. Cheers, and happy studying!

Marianna G: , nice staff ; however, loud, very loud to stay and read. Libraries needs to be quite, comfortable places for reading and studying. This is not community center or playground. Yes it's for everybody but for everybody to read and study not screaming running around or listening to music without headphones.

Tim Harris: Friendly staff and nicely laid out. I’m not sure why people say it’s noisy. You can book a study room if you need.

Pat Mc Devitt: wonderful little spot.

Anat Churilov: Had a book I wanted to drop off at a LFL for a long time and this happened to be the lucky one. I wasn't planning to take a book, but I was pleasantly surprised there was books for toddlers ! Happily grabbed a Dr Seuss book for my little one, and there was a nice selection that made the decision to pick one quite difficult. Thank you for having this cute little library ! I noticed the care and love you put into it.

Lori Nicholson: What an excellent idea! This is a wonderful addition to the Windsor Park community. This little library offers a great selection of books, in a whimsical container.

Anita Jacobson (AnitaJ Spicelady): They try to have book turnover, and a variety of reading material. Always kept neat & tidy and fun to browse when I am in the area to visit friends. And somewhere to drop off a random book or 2 that I am done with so someone else can enjoy. Little Free Libraries ROCK

David Mintz: So glad this place is back up and running. A real community touchstone. Come grab/leave a book!

Tanya Veness: This little library is a fantastic community service. There is a constant turnover of books of every description. I'd love to make a donation towards getting it repaired after the fire damage it just suffered.

Daniel Timmerman: Great location for a community book sharing library. Close to Corydon ave.

Toby Bartlett: Cool architecture and shared books, a great combination set in a lovely park. Unfortunately it’s not lit well enough at night though.

THE NORM: I really like this little Free Library. It's very unique. Always a good selection of books as well.

Z G: Very well cleaned and organised. Friendly staff

Relax with Aay: she she was helping another lady provided best customer service. I don't give 5 star in first go but I noticed both ladies are good.i also like the bike parking area with tools on there for basic repair.

Emmanuel “Mango” Tshimanga: , but still retains that coziness that comes from a well-stocked library. Friendly staff, challenges for kids to read more during the vacation, comfortable chairs and couches. No complaints here.

Ben Smith: for devices-Shaw and MTS Wi-Fi available-Local computers-Fireplace seating-A study room that can be reserved-DVD, blue ray, ps4, and Xbox one rentals-A Kids section and play area-Bus stop 1 minute walk from libraryCONS- WASHROOMS. The washrooms don't have a door that closes the women's side from the men's. Very little privacy.

Morayo Okunrinboye: A lovely place with very helpful staff

Captian Freeman: Really nice place to go and grab a book to read, nobody is going to annoy you or pester you for sitting and reading for a few hours like some other public Librarys, I'd suggest you go there because it's not busy, not dirty, not loud, it's quite, clean, and really low in human traffic.

Parker Zhao: It’s well designed and decorated, bright and clean.

Amy H: They have a great environment and all the staff are so friendly and willing to help you get your books or order them in. When you do need to order any books in it takes no time at all!
