Training Loyal Companions: what do users think?

Kris Mccallum: 11 Years ago I bought our new puppy Triton for obedience training and to familiarize myself with techniques for at home trainingwith my family. Triton loved going to class. He was happy, content and very willing to learn. He excelled in his classes and any extra classes Christie provided we would attend. Triton was a well behaved, gentle mannered, confident and happy treasured companion in our home. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. We wouldn't have had this beautiful pet if it wasn't for the excellent training he received and the encouragement the pet parents received. We had to say goodbye to Triton yesterday, however I wanted people to know the difference a great trainer can make in a dog's life and we owe a debt of gratitude to Christie. Thank you.

Cynthia van Ieperen: Excellent trainers, nice training space, trainers are very knowledgeable and encouraging

Brent Wall: Great with dogs

KL Sosiak: Great play and stay group, good groomer

Teresa Dingley: The staff are great.

Josh W: Wicked puppy socialization class on Sundays for cheap. Great idea to get a puppy used to dogs.

Sheila Lapinski Smith: Friendly helpful staff. Looking forward to the classes.

Terry Stapleton: Great trainers. Nice facilities.

Tim Cruickshank: We're quite happy with the dog training here.

She was able to assess my dog and provide me with techniques that were easy and worked!I started with a class and then booked a boot camp, been a game changer for me and my dog. Highly recommend Dumbledogs classes and Emily as a trainer.

Polite Pets: what do users think?

Andrea Smith: Ben worked with my reactive dog Ollie for several months and gave our family the knowledge and confidence to understand our dog better. Ollie is not perfect but I'm not coming home from walks in tears anymore.

sherry Perehinec: I’ve been working with Ben at Polite Pets for almost a year now with my Shepherd husky mix, Radar. He absolutely adores Ben and his pup, Cooper and loves his play sessions with them. One of my main goals was to get Radar to walk without his muzzle. He was very much into pulling at my clothes on walks, his leash and jumping was a big problem. With Ben’s help and guidance with his training, I’m so happy we were able to achieve the goal!I can’t express how thankful I am because this was a big important goal for me. Ben really prepares you to train your pup by showing you ways to train, providing training materials and answering any questions or concerns. He is very accommodating with hours and rescheduling.I highly recommend Polite Pets to anyone looking for guidance with their pups.

Lauren Parsons: We've hired Ben for a few different sessions and he was really great with our active Shepherd/Husky, Arnold! Ben is patient, knowledgeable and clear in his directions. He definitely cares about the animals he works with and wants you to be as prepared as possible to carry out the training on your own. We initially thought Arnold was *only* motivated by food, but Ben showed us that Arnold actually has a very high play drive - which can be used as a reward for good behaviour.

Kathy Taylor: We called Ben from Polite Pets for some personalized dog training when we adopted our Gemma from Darcy Arc shelter. He came highly recommended.Ben was very professional and understanding as well as patient with both Gemma and with us with all of our questions. He was very adaptable to changing situations with our schedule and the weather for outdoor training.Follow up emails with enrichment activities and training always provided.Ben uses reward based training and is patient with Gemma and let’s her progress at her own pace. We appreciate that as it allowed Gemma to build confidence. We also recently started reactive rover classes with Ben and took Gemma to his stay and play sessionsI would highly recommend Ben at polite pets for your training needs.

Brenda Kupchik: Ben was fantastic with Boss

dylanraz9: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueHighly recommend to anyone. Very clear and helpful.

Crystal Gale Adalia: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueWe only have had great experiences with Polite Pets for a couple of years now. My dog and cat both love Ben. He is really professional and we love his approach to training using positive reinforcement. You know he really cares about your furbabies. 5/5 recommend Polite Pets 😊

Erin Daher: Ben is a very knowledgeable R+ trainer who helped us better understand our dog's needs and set her up for success.

Dog Nerd: what do users think?

Mikee Pastrana: My family and I booked a private assessment for our reactive dog and we learned a lot from Lisa! She knows what she’s doing and is a great trainer. We absolutely recommend her services to owners who wants to help their pets and fix the root of the problem without any judgement. As long as you’re committed and honest you will see great results. Thank you for reassuring our family that we’re on the right track with Hugo and Sophie. Although we are not pursuing any classes with Dog Nerd at the moment we definitely will in the future when time and money persists. Cheers!

Tony Valeri: Our classes have been excellent for us and our dog

Camie: We can’t say enough good things about Dog Nerd! Peanut started going last October at 3 months old and has been enrolled in many of their courses including puppy pre school, basic manners, leash manners, day school and now Day Care + many times a week! Peanut comes home exhausted and absolutely loves going to daycare. We owe it to Lisa and her team for helping us train and have Peanut become a very well rounded dog. While training never stops, we have seen tremendous growth with our dog and are forever grateful to Dog Nerd. Thank you!

Sherrill Gable: Dod Nerd is wonderful! The facility is clean, the pups are well looked after and the Staff is amazing! Jessie is always excited when she realizes she is going to daycare. I would highly recommend Dog Nerd for all your daycare/training needs.

Melanie Kampen: , and it also states that payment for classes or day care are not reimbursed. If you didn't read that, that sounds like a you problem. As for dogs not fitting into the day care - that can happen. In order for it to be safe for other dogs and people, dogs with certain types of fearfulness or reactivity can't be there. That's normal. It's also stated in their description of day care services. If you're not honest about your dog and then get told that your dog isn't suitable for the day care, then again, that sounds like a you problem. Dog owners need to do their own work on getting to know a training organization and reading through policies. If you do that, and you're honest about your needs and your dog's needs, then you won't run into the problems the 1 star reviewers did. These issues were all preventable by the owners who complained about them. But of course, some people will always think the customer is always right.

Joyce Crandell: Dog Nerd follows current best practices based on scientific evidence by using R+ training techniques. We took our reactive rescue to the Reactive Rover class and he is making great strides at being able to be in public without trying to fight everyone and every dog he sees. During those classes the dogs were suitably arranged to protect them from each other and to manage their stress so they were able to learn. More recently we've been taking our puppy to puppy classes, and have her enrolled in day school. We're very happy with the attention and care and training she receives at day school, and equally happy with the instructions, handouts, and feedback from puppy classes. I highly recommend Dog Nerd.

Asmara Polcyn: Lisa has been training dogs for over a decade and will help you build a solid relationship of trust and caring with your dog. She’ll help you train your K9 to do some pretty neat stuff as well! Highly recommend.

Bill Candline: Very clean and staff friendly and able to answer any questions

Jodi Ruta: Lisa is not only one of the most accepting trainer I have ever met but she also knows her stuff!

The Dog Loft Inc.: what do users think?

Taylor Cole: Love bringing my dog here!

Gurwinder Kaur: It's very nice place

tammie kane: Harry is well cared for when we come here. Granted he comes for his nails and the staff is always happy and friendly. I have not used the doggie daycare with Harry as he doesn't get along with

serban radu: Friendly & caring staff. Kruger, our boxer, enjoyed his time there.

Kristine Delos Santos: Always one of my go to for my fur babies, they have a great service ❤

Jen Nguyen: I love the dog loft and so does my dog. I've been coming here since it opened! The staff is friendly, they do a great job taking care of my dog when he goes to visit and the owner has helped me by taking extra care of my dog when he’s anxious because I’m gone. The facility is clean and always maintained.

Alexis L: We have been coming to the dog loft for a little over a year and are always SO happy with the results. We have been seeing Lucille and I can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our dog. Our dog always comes back to the car having had the best day and she looks fantastic! The customer service is next level. Lucille quite literally gives us such great customer service and has on many occasions found a way to squeeze us in when we’ve forgotten to rebook.

Brittany McIntosh: . She is absolutely wonderful with him. She listens to what I want, teddy always comes out smelling clean and looks so handsome. Well be booking soon, to get him cleaned up before winter. Bonus, she always sends me cute pictures of him, throughout the day

Laura Warren: I have a 90 pound Rough Collie who is a total drama queen. I am extremely careful who I entrust him with for grooming, as Rough Collies are a huge challenge as it is, never mind one that is a drama queen, to boot. I brought him to see Lucille, based on recommendations from other dog people, and am I ever glad I did. Lucille has the patience of a saint with my fussy boy, she didn't force anything, she was calm & gentle, but also thorough. Rough Collies are a TON of work, and Lucille handled it with ease. She kept my boy calmer than I've seen him during grooming, and made him look amazing. Lucille has a very pleasant, soft touch with the animals she works on, and a personality to match. The 2 reviews on here saying otherwise are so fake as to be laughable. Anyone who has actually met Lucille would spot them as fake, as well. Her demeanor is nothing like that; she is pleasant, communicates effectively, and does fantastic work. I don't trust many with my boy, and Lucille is definitely one. He loves her, too, which is rare for him. In closing, I highly recommend Lucille for all your dogs grooming needs, period.
