This is the type of furniture you can invest in for generations as most pieces are timeless and they are so well made you certainly wont need to replace them for a very long time… if at all. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. You can tell they’re proud of the product.

The sales staff are friendly and very knowledgable, they will help you select the style, wood species and finish for your furniture to perfectly suit your specific needs, right down to knobs and hardware. The new owner has curated a broad, but coherent showroom of hand crafted, solid wood furniture. In a world of particle board and cheap veneers, the quality of these pieces speak for theirselves.
Madisyn Peters: Recently purchased a gorgeous oak table that expands. Was able to match the wood to the beautiful oak details in our dinning room. So impressed with the quality of the table the design allowed the extra table leaves to hide under/inside the table when not in use. Always love going to this store. Another family member recently purchased a dinning room table and she loved being able to customize the stain to her preference. The owner was great to work with friendly and helpful with showing all the multiple options for finishing. I am impressed with the milk paint options they provide. Having done multiple milk paint projects it can be hard to find good milk paint in the city.

Honestly, this specific Ashley home furniture does not compare to any other furniture store. I’ve purchased quite a few times from Dave. today I dealt with the store manager. I forget her name but she was the most wonderful person to deal with because Dave was unavailable, she listen to me. She got me an insane deal. Regardless if it’s a big box store they treated me better than any other furniture store and it pays off as I keep going back to them! Staff were very helpful/knowledgeable and communicated transparently.The product purchased was of higher quality than anticipated and at a very reasonable price point.To cap it off, when we were leaving and found our truck had a dead battery, staff quickly came to our aid with a boost without us even asking.Great family business that understands customer experience.

I have to say that Lord Selkirk furniture is a hidden gem of the city! It's family owned, and top notch for quality!
