Overall it was ok, didn’t except anything special as I never tried Montreal bagels. Regular bagels to my taste, nothing special.Store is new, clean.

Personally my go to is Montreal Smoked Meat on an everything or spicy everything bagel but I‘be tried a number of different menu items and some monthly specials. Highly recommend.

WPG 204: Ordered a bag through TGTG, and I was blown away. The bagels are incredible. Couldn’t believe how many I received lol. I also bought 2 spreads, Simply the Zest and Cinnamon Roll. So good, my first time here, but not my last!

Jordan Puscus: Came here for breakfast on our trip to Winnipeg and had some bagel sandwiches. I would argue the Cheddar bagel is not as cheesy as I'd like but overall it was delicious. I prefer the New York style to Montreal style bagel so this is a happy in between.

JanTheMan: Definitely rate this spot a 10/10 based on food & great service. I love sandwiches but I was a little hesitant because bagels are usually thick, hard & dense. This was not the case. I got the rosemary bagel and it was so good and had a great slight crunch to it. It paired so well with The Side Chick’en, it almost reminded me of a thanksgiving dinner into a yummy little bagel. Bagel sandwich was a amazing, the flavours were hitting all the right spots, mushroom soup was great. I also really appreciated how enthusiastic the FOH girl was. Great customer service from her. Friendly, offering recommendations, bringing the food & drinks right to the tables. I worked in the service industry for 12+ years and that is the type of service I love to see.

Oliver: Frenchway cafe is our go to spot for breakfast. Everything is delicious, and given the quality of the food I’d say you get pretty good value for what you’re paying.Their bakery is unbelievable. Everything is amazing. Their lemon tart is one of my favourites!
sylvie landry: Came with a friend for breakfast since she had an apt near this place. Nice little place, the food was good, I had the turkey brie crepes, I could only ate one of them it is so filling. When you arrived it says to wait to be seated but you actually seat yourself, the wait staff is so so, not that friendly. We came in the middle of the week by 830ish and by the time we left by 10am there was a line up at the door so very popular place, however, not once we felt rushed to leave. The dessert display looked great and brought a massive bread pudding and chocolate croissant. The bread pudding was moist and lots of fruits in it. The coffee was okay. Overall good experience, the crepes price was onpar with other restaurants prices.
Joanne Dueck: We went out for breakfast. Two people had eggs Benedict, one had crepes, one had Pharoah, and one omelet. Everything was perfect and we all enjoyed our meals. We have several food allergies in our family and they were accommodated without issues. The dessert display case looked beautiful so we bought a few to take home and they were great too. We will definitely be back!
Krystal Morgan: Turkey club was delicious and very flavourful got the mushroom garlic soup of the day as the side, didn’t have much flavour, wouldn’t get again. Eggs Benedict special was good, not a huge fan of the mint they put on top, the hash browns that come with it are bomb! Service was a little slow, had to ask a few times for coffee refills and took almost 45 minutes for the food, seemed they were short staffed. The patio was a cute little spot to enjoy our breakfast. jill sy: The place is quaint, clean, accessible. We ordered the cinnabun french toast and the smoked salmon eggs benny with a side of fried pancetta out of curiosity. The french toast comes in 2 small slices. My partner said it was good. I had the smoked salmon eggs benny. I loved the toastsd biscuit, very buttery, soft, and made fresh. The hollandaise sauce was also very light, but i would have wanted more of it on my plate. The smoked salmon was a generous slice. The homefries were a bit too burnt for my taste though, it was crispy but too brown for my liking and i can taste the bitterness on the potatoes. Service was friendly, but a bit slow on a day that wasnt as busy for a thursday morning. Where there was 3 tables to be served apart from us. My coffee was almost done and cold by the time outlr food arrived. Wide menu variety, with lots of brunch drink options. Over all a Pleasant experience but not something i would be going back to or be revving about.

Erik Magnusson: $10.89* for a steak and lemongrass bahn mi that may very well be the best sandwich I've ever had. Balanced flavors, stuffed with meat. They take their time with it and it shows.Have had their charbroiled pork bahn mi as well and it was stellar too.Don't miss this place, just be prepared that it's going to take a bit to get your meal, but the wait is worth it.
