I ordered soup of the day- cream of mushroom soup with bread thay left a lasting impression with their flavorful combination and perfect texture. The subtle spicy kick in the soup from chili flakesadded an exciting twist.The bread was a pleasant surprise—fresh and delightfully crunchy.While the chai latte was a bit lacking in its expected kick, resembling more of a cafe latte, the overall service was top-notch. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for another satisfying meal.Kid-friendliness: I noticed few options for kids. The chocolate cookie was a delight though.

4worldlovers: Formerly known as Enzo’s Sports Bar, X-Cues’ had it’s humble beginnings in the heart of the West End when two brothers immigrated from Italy. The Infantino Brother’s were host to a home away from home to immigrants from all over the world! When families arrived to the Winnipeg airport with nothing but the clothes on their backs, taxi drivers knew to bring them Enzo’s where they would get a meal, a roof, and immediate acceptance into a community on Sargent Avenue.
To this day, the diverse X-Cues’ community continues to thrive and grow throughout generations.
Since then our business has changed and grown. X-Cues Cafe is used as a musical venue, art exhibit, diverse cultural hub, and sports venue projecting the most watched events on our 5 big screens!

Cece Lafreniere: I was at a Celebration of Life for a dear old friend on February 26, 2023… the room was nicely set up for the occasion… all of the staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating… I passed on the bread and pasta, but the rest of the food was delish… oven roasted seasoned potatoes were done to perfection… the lemon chicken was so tender and tasty with a killer, creamy sauce… the thinly sliced pork was very juicy and savoury… the roasted peppers, broccolini, zucchini, etc was mouth watering and had that perfectly prepared crunch… I will definitely go back again… was a great experience…

candy py: This place made me feel like I was in a dark academia movie scene so magnificient and elegant 😍. When I visited this Cafe it was closed but the manager was really sweet, he gave us free coffee and a delicious lemon cheesecake. This is a heritage spot it was actually known as Hotel Olympia but got renamed toThe Marlborough Hotel.

Jamie Bell: A delightful place to enjoy breakfast. I usually go in the mornings. It's a beautiful, classic looking restaurant. Beautiful architecture and windows. Decent priced menu, friendly staff and the food is very good. I definitely recommend this place for any meal, but my personal favourite is breakfast.

Alecs: Quaint coffee shop inside a bike shop. They have featured drinks that change frequently so you can try new things. I usually order a matcha latte but had to try their new featured drink: the matcha guava! You can also get some beans and have it grounded for what you need. Your fur babies are also welcome and they have readily available water and treats so what's not to love?
Bill Rockwell: Delightful coffee bar. Good prices and great coffee.

Kay: Small quaint place with polite service.I see some reviews where they say the service is slow. But we came during a very bust Saturday lunch and the service was fast and the food came out quite quickly.Also very well priced. Hard to find a place these days that will serve eggs, meat, potato and toast breakfast for $8. Impressive.Their hollandaise sauce is fantastic and homemade. And thier bread is made in house as well.Kudos to the chef. Good food.Only negatives are that it is small and can get loud, and the seating is a bit close together. Also closes quite early.But otherwise, I had a great experience and would come back.

It came hot, the pieces of ham were juicy. The peppers and onions mixed with cheese on their in house made potato dill bread was amazing. I ordered a loaf of the potato dill and the last two small cinnamon buns to go. Their cinnamon buns taste just like my Mom used to make.As the guy off the "you gotta eat here says", I highly recommend it!
