I called a few places for quotes and learned that many appliance repair business do not service microwaves. Thankfully I found Lev and he took care of all our appliances and was incredibly honest and informative, taking the time to explain to us the root cause of each issue. He was also very thorough, making sure that each appliance worked before leaving, and his prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of work he provides. He had to make a few trips to complete the job, but he was always super reliable, i.e. never missed an appointment. To top it off, after he finished with our three appliances, he noticed that our refrigerator was clogged with a massive amount of dust, so he went ahead and cleaned that up for us. Robert Brown: Masson helps with right to fix - love this!! I bought a used 1990’s clothes washer from Masson. A switch died but Masson had the replacement part. Easy fix. My ceramic stove top broke and no new replacement parts are available but Masson had the part.They keep parts in circulation and out of landfills, help fight planned obsolescence, and so far have had the parts I need for reasonable prices when the new dealers won’t deal.

Glen McLaren: Impressive. That is the word that best describes my customer experience at Midland Appliance World. Over the past decades, we have dealt with a variety of companies to supply us with appliances and other household items. For some of these vendors, their interest in customer satisfaction ends with the delivery of the product. If the product was delivered damaged or defective, these companies seemed to be quick to send out a repair person or worse, discount the initial sale but void the warranty. So, when the new dryer we bought from Midland was delivered and we discovered it had a problem, to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect – as this was our first dealing with this company. I am person who prefers to deal with issues in person, so we went down to Midland to speak to our sales representative. Tobie Berthon was outstanding and impressive with the way he handled our concern. There was no discussion about what the issue might be or that a service person should be sent out first to determine the issue before any other action was taken. Tobie turned to his computer and in a few keystrokes advised us the next shipment of that dryer type was coming in two weeks and one of these items was now reserved for us as a replacement for the one we just received. This is why I am so impressed with the way this was handled. There was no debate over fixing the machine or discounting the cost. Replacement was the course of action I had hoped for and without me saying a word, that is what we got. I highly recommend Midland Appliance World as a place to purchase appliances. Although I am sure every salesperson there is great, Tobie is a wonderful sales representative to deal with.

I saw Duo recommended on a local neighborhood Facebook group. I called them and they were able to come out the next morning, which was a Saturday. They got my washer cleaned out & running again, and they were more reasonably priced that I expected. Very happy with their prompt service.

Don't let the neighbourhood prevent you from going down there. This is one of those places that will hunt around in the back room for the most obscure part...and they'll actually have it.

She got on gathering information on models and prices got back to me. This lady was dedicated to giving me some great Customer Service. She gave me detailed and exact information regarding Models of fridges and their measurements and specs etc. She told me of meeting and beating other competitors prices on anything I would choose with her. she did exactly that… It was a real pleasure to deal with a dedicated sales person which she is most certainly.I will be happy getting my new fridge knowing that anytime if there’s any questions or issues she will be there for me being her Customer…..
Cory Wreggitt: Bought a stove from Midland recently, and while the stove didn't quite work out for us, the sales and management team from Midland took the issue almost as personally as we did! Bryce and Jean worked with us for literal MONTHS to make sure that we were happy with every aspect of our purchase; Communication with them was easy and constant - they offered solutions, listened to our feedback, and made an otherwise difficult situation as easy as it could have been. I want to thank the team at Midland for going above and beyond for us, and I can confidently say that we will be returning in the future for all of our appliance needs.

Originally it came from Midlands, so we included them in our shopping and they had the best deal out of the 4 or 5 places we checked out. Still required 6 weeks before delivery, but that seems usual in the industry at this time

Arbie Balajdia: Norris is a life saver. Yesterday the coldest day of the year my heat went out. I contacted furnanceman and they came out and got furnace going only to have the furnance dead again after leaving within 45 minutes. They refused to come back and fix the issue. I contacted Norris who came right away at 9pm and was able to completely fix the issue without any problems. The best part was Norris charges me well below what the furnance man was going to charges me when they stated they'l be back next day. Norris cared and knew how cold it was -45. He really went above and beyond. Gave me tips regarding my furnance. I will never go anywhere else regarding furnance issue. Z TYMCHUK: Purchased a Frigidaire Fridge here unexpectedly. I had been looking for a bit but when my old one died I needed one ASAP. I was able to find a discontinued model brand new and I picked it up 15 minutes later at the warehouse. All staff were very friendly as always and the manager who'd helped me before was great will definitely be buying my future appliances from her. She helped me find exactly what I needed and didn't need and sold me a warranty that was on sale which appears to be useful. Staff were also very friendly to my child which I appreciated. My only complaint would be that their out of the city delivery which is provided by a third party was insanely priced. I understand this is a third party so they don't control the pricing but I would suggest they look for a rural supplier that is more reasonable.
