Syeda Khan: Got the shrimp pad Thai, spicy salmon sushi, spicy shrimp tempura and California roll. The highlight was hands down the salmon sushi. The salmon was soo good, it literally melted in my mouth. The price for the pad Thai was a little overpriced for 2 people as the quantity wasn't enough but it was definitely worth it. The server was really nice. Overall a must try restaurant.
Vanessa LeBlanc: Went for a late night bite, and I would like to go back again to get the full experience. We had sushi, pad Thai, gyoza, and drinks.Dietary restriction labels on the menu would be a nice addition.
Brittany King: , but all service following that was impeccable. Our waitress was kind enough to give us recommendations from the menu as first timers to Tomo, and was very pleasant. I do wish they had dessert options, however, as following sushi up with a mango or green tea ice cream has always been a favourite.

Jillian Morgan: .This particular evening had very few patrons. We were the first of only three tables active by the time we were done. At least the hosts had been extra careful to let us know that they could not serve any alcohol when we reserved, and even called back the next day to double check that they had told us that. I guess some people had been caught off guard by that, so they're making sure people know it clearly. It could be part of the reason for the low number of diners, since everything else was as good as I remembered it.

Tam Phung: One of the best sushi places I’ve had in Ottawa. It’s like a new fusion sushi place that has fast service and tasty sauces, combined with fresh fishes and sushi ingredients.The downside is the price may be a little more expensive than most sushi places, especially for the special sushi dishes, but I think it is priced well for the current economy.Will come back!

Laura Newcombe: A lovely little Japanese restaurant. The staff are consistently friendly and quick. I've only ever tried their sushi, but it's quite good! The rice texture and taste is great, and the fish is fresh and tasty. One thing i will say is that the maki roll sizes are weirdly large, even to the point of being a bit difficult to eat. The sushi rice also tends to be a bit loose, rather than stuck together; I don't think its a real problem though. Their miso soup is pretty good.
Mama Mia Quesadillaa: Such great food and hardworking staff.Food came out quick considering that it was a busy evening. It's a medium-sized restaurant that focuses on delicious, fresh Japanese food including sushi. Great textures and flavours that mingle together. You can see the staff making sushi behind the counter. The odd time they might look up and greet you or flash a smile.
Andrew Szy: Great little sushi resto, food is good and service was nice. Tables, menu, etc were clean, which my friend appreciated. The menu list is quite big for such a small resto, I was impressed. All the meals served were quick to arrive considering they were pretty much made from scratch. I will be back to sample more of the menu than the quick I lunch items I had today.Parking: Parking on weekends is free, this Sunday parking was easy to find on the street very near the resto. During the week I suspect it may be hard to find parking.
Joy Tendon: We ordered about 6-7 plates of different sushis, the volcano was our favourite. Everything was fresh, and filling with a lot of fresh fish and delicious.I recommend 100% if you are in Ottawa, on a nice street that we walked on afterwards. There is parking just in front if your are lucky like us and Sunday’s are free so it was a nice touch.Recommend ! Go there get some incredible food and don’t skip on the beef tataki!
Carlo Fuentes: Great Japanese restaurant in Ottawa! They have a wide variety of food in their menu from sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki and even ramen!The food are all delicious and big in serving. The service was excellent! Food was served fast and efficient. And the staff were all friendly and nice!Definitely a must to visit when you’re craving for some Japanese food!

Gaetano Licari: Very great vibe. If you go on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and or Saturday night, you are always greeted by the owner, Fortunato. He greets you with a warm smile. A handshake, and if he knows you personally it’s always a hug, and or a kiss on the cheek. From when you sit down, the servers are right on top of you getting ready to make sure that you enjoy your evening. The food is fantastic. The service is majestic. And be prepared that when you are ready to finish paying the bill, they will always offer everyone at the table a drink of choice. Viva Italia.

Joseph van Blokland: What a special relaxed atmosphere, with such good food.My wife and I had wonderful cocktails and a lovely bottle of Cabarnet Sauvignon.My caviar appetizer, with creme fresh and dill was delicious.I also shared a bit of the lobster on homemade pasta. Full lobster claw and tail, cooked perfectly.My main of potato crusted Fogo island cod was perfection.Service was great, and multiple staff came by to greet us as we were celebrating a special occasion.

Emma Dixon: My favourite ramen spot in Ottawa. The kotteri shoyu broth is very creamy and their chashu is perfectly done, all their toppings are great. I also recommend their rice bowls if it’s too hot for ramen. I really like that they have them in a smaller size if you just want a smaller portion for lunch.Staff are always kind and attentive.Some of the negative reviews are due to there being noise from other guests, I don’t think thats fair. Honestly, if you’re at a quiet ramen restaurant you probably aren’t at a good one. If it bothers you, go slightly off hours and you will have the place basically to yourself.

Géraldine Petit-Gras: A must in Ottawa!!! Love this place. The decor is great, the food is awesome. Tempura was delicious. Went there a few times and loved it. The mochi deserts with chocolate decoration is a fun thing for kids and adults alike. No MSG in any of the dishes we tried, which is a bonus for my dad whose stomach can't tolerate. Will be back.
