    Luc Laliberté: Particularly successful and tasty meal. The poor rating given to the service does not target the waitress, but rather her manager. Even though I had a good meal there, I will never return to this restaurant because of its attitude. We do not lecture in a condescending and contemptuous manner to a customer who has just paid more than $500 to honor the presence of colleagues who are dear to him. In front of my guests, he lectured me on the tip that he wanted to be at least 18% or more. I paid in cash and left the required amount. There was no tact or respect in the way he addressed me. I stay in Ottawa regularly and regularly invite friends. Next time I will invest more than $600 with a competitor.Dietary restrictions: They respect gluten free diet

    Aline Maurel: The food is elegantly presented but both the Caesar salad and the monkfish dish lacked flavor. Great choice of wine but limited options on the menu for non meat eaters.Vegetarian options: Not enough options

    Paul Dagg: Very nice restaurant with excellent service in the Germain Hotel. House pickles and roasted seasonal carrot salad were particularly good. Bar menu is small but well curated and cocktails were well balanced and crafted. My only complaint is that the restaurant prides itself on its focus on Canadian ingredients and food but the wine list is mostly non-Canadian. With so many good and varied wines from Canada available this is not necessary. I find this is unfortunately a characteristic of many restaurants in Canada but it is a time we learn to take as much pride in our wine as we do in our food.

    Mac & Cheeses: Yet another great experience at the Norca restaurant!This establishment is innovative and exquisite.The word needs to be spread in order for people to be aware of this Ottawa gem!First of all the front desk staff is fantastic.So attentive… So hospitable…From the charismatic and professional gentleman that opens the door… to the funky girl with cool earrings that made sure we got to the parking lot safe.You could tell that she is a hawk when it comes to being costumer oriented.I will like to thank Lydia from the restaurant. She was not our server, but she was basically running the whole place by herself. Charming lady.I can’t wait to keep coming back to Norca and experience it’s authentic local flavours. Germain is the place to be!Parking: Don’t park across the street. It was 29$ for 2h. Park at Rideau center.

    LuMi Naire: Very nice restaurant within the Le Germain Ottawa hotel.Went for the breakfast buffet only, none of the dinner options looked appetizing or tempted me.Breakfast buffet options are very good for a fair price. Would have loved that the chef would make the eggs to my liking instead of scrambled eggs like everywhere else.

    Joseph van Blokland: What a special relaxed atmosphere, with such good food.My wife and I had wonderful cocktails and a lovely bottle of Cabarnet Sauvignon.My caviar appetizer, with creme fresh and dill was delicious.I also shared a bit of the lobster on homemade pasta. Full lobster claw and tail, cooked perfectly.My main of potato crusted Fogo island cod was perfection.Service was great, and multiple staff came by to greet us as we were celebrating a special occasion.

    Taleen D: This place is an absolute treat! Don't be fooled by the interior. The Belmont may look like an ordinary bar, but their food is equal to a fancy, fine dining restaurant. We ordered the vegetarian family style, which includes: trini doubles, endive salad, cauliflower, broccolini, mushroom on toast, & lemon cheesecake. Thinking it might be small portions, we also added the beef tartare. All the plates were generous portions! Everything was so delicious, and the cocktails were tasty too. Although we almost couldn't finish the food, we did, and were happily in a food coma afterwards. Highly recommend it! We'll be back for sure.
