Weekly Graham technique classes will be back in September! The new dates and times are available below!

This class is designed for students with little or no experience in Graham technique, whatever their previous dance experience. We work on the fundamentals of the technique: contraction and release, spirals, oppositions and shift of weight. The exercises are based on the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance‘s curriculum. The class starts with a typical Graham floor work to strengthen the back and core, continues with standing/travelling exercises and usually ends with a combo.

Wednesdays from 7.30 to 8.30 pm at Flamenco Diaz and Alexander technique studio

This class is for students with at least 2 years of experience in Graham technique, a good understanding of the fundamentals, and who master exercises such as breathings on 2 and 4, 3s and 6s, seated contractions, deep stretches, long leans, contractions to the side, bisons, etc, at a beginner level. We work on introducing more complex floorwork, as well as Graham phrases and a bit of repertory.
