Our Place Peel: what do users think?

Royal Smith: Real nice place to work

Don-Ace Reevez (Alpha Romeo): This place is a personal favorite!I actually was one of the kids in the house! The staff back then Yvvone, Alishya, Lindsey, Agatha were literally amazing! They guided and gave me amazing advice. Thank you for all you did, I wish all of you stuck around a little more so the rest of these kids could have had your guidance!Wish you all the best!

Curtis Courchesne: Helped me my brother and cousin back in the late 90s the workers and stuff we got help with was a great place for teens

Asha Krystal: This place is incredible.. I moved in from Oshawa, they help you and definitely get you into a better spot. I'll forever be grateful for my time spent here!

Patricia Brand: If you are a youth between 16 and 21, this should be your first pick if you really want to get your life together. This place can help you as long as you allow them too and put in as much effort as they are. If you aren't putting in effort, why should they? Staff are kind and considerate as well as accomadating. This a non judgemental place and a place that you can feel safe. As long as you are respectful you will do great. Staff love to joke, so don't be afraid to crack a joke every now and again. This place has helped me not only emotiinally and mentally but it is the only shelter that has given me the belief that I could amount to something. They are 100% supportive and will help navigate you back on the path that will lead you to being potentially successful. I wish I had 10 thumbs because this shelter deserves it. Huge shout out to the supervisors, Amit and Udeshi for being 100% involved in helping youth stabilise through crisis, making safety there number one priority and ensuring that the shelter is constantly running smoothly, for both youth and there staff team!!!! Another shout out to Jenna the student, who is always ontop of her duties and works so hard that I couldn't even believe she was a student. She's a pretty awesome person. Shout out to Melanie as well for being the person anyone can talk to about their problems and having extensive listening and communication skills, that goes a long way. Overall, do, do, do, NOT hesitate about being placed at this shelter, you will like it and they will help you get back on your feet and transition onto semi independence or independence. Have no fear, for Our Place Peel is here. Just remember, you too, can be your own hero.

alex risden: Working through my issues. You exchange trade and change your freedom for security. If you're on the streets, ask about them. Salvation army will save you if they can.

Dan Bilof: ~pretyu shittu actuslly waybi recall😁👌🙏✌🐩🐕🚩🌠

Noel Brown: Amazing

joshgod gamer: It's an amazing shelter, just most the workers there seem like they need a vacation and or a new job within the shelter because they seem like they could be more help as a cafeteria worker.

Patti Moorcroft-Tasker: Knowing my son is safe at this shelter. God bless the Salvation Army... so glad shelters even exist. We need more funding for shelters like this. Especially for young adults that don't know where or how to make a start in the world.

Abdulkadir Babbagana Abba: The Epistle And Reflection On Zainab Al-AstarbadiI met with a different people in my life, i was a humanitarian staff then before moving to Canada. If all the people are as good, gentle, kind, generous and meticulous as Miss Zainab Al-Astarbadi, this world will become paradise, but the misfortune of splendid attitude is that behaving in so magnificent and beautiful way as Zainab Al-Astarbadi is not easy. She’s unique preeminently unique uniquely preeminent, she is indeed serving the humanity. In just a few days i encountered with this gentle pretty woman, i learned a lot from her, she also always galvanised a huge and humongous support for me and all humanity , her heart is as good as she are, she deserves kudos and summa cum laude in her fields. Fahima Formuly and Nazilla Najwa, in particular, provided me with expert guidance every step of the way. They were patient and attentive to all of my questions and concerns, and I felt completely at ease knowing that I was in such capable hands. As someone who is still relatively new to Canada, I can attest to the fact that navigating the complexities of the Canadian tax system and resettlement process can be incredibly challenging, especially for those who are not familiar with the language, culture, and norms. The team at AWO understands these challenges all too well and is committed to providing newcomers and immigrants with the support and guidance they need to succeed in their new home. Their expertise and knowledge of Canadian laws, regulations, and resources are second to none, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that their clients are set up for success.Their dedication to their clients and their mission is truly remarkable, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them.
