Waldorf Academy Toronto: what do users think?

Sophia Valani: Wonderful environment with the most amazing teachers

Olivia Go: Waldorf is a safe haven for my child from the usual hustle and bustle of the city and free from a technologically-driven world. One of the highlights for me is the emphasis on the importance of community at this school and the way we relate to one another. This place has become a family/a village for me in ways I didn’t foresee going into it. I love that the curriculum includes the time to explore the natural development of my child.

Lucie Genkova: A private school with incredible potential, a hidden gem in the heart of Toronto, with tuition fees just a fraction of the local private school fees. Experience based learning from Early Childhood Education, Kindergarten and all though the grades; very progressive education; gives a solid foundation of how to think critically, do and fulfill your child's potential using diverse methods based on deeply rooted alternative education and life skills for the future. When I see the Gr 8 graduating and follow the alumnae successed in higher education I know that this Waldorf Education model is for the 21st century! That's an investment in and for the future!

Gary Mansbridge: Moving our son to Waldorf Academy in grade 4 was the best decision we could have made. The school's curriculum is so well suited to bringing out the best, socially and academically. The focus on outdoor experience was a plus and further benefited the students. We were surrounded and supported by a wonderful community of parents and teachers always willing to help, and make the school better place. This was coupled with excellent ratios for educator to student and an exceptional group of support staff that supplemented the main programme as needed. Any support a student needs will be available. Students move through the grades with the same cohort and teacher – an obvious benefit not available elsewhere. Our son has completed Grade 8 and must leave Waldorf, but he does so with the asset of his company and education at Waldorf, and does so ready to enter high school and prepared for the future.

tara detwiler: My daughter is graduating from grade 8 this month. She started at the school in the nursery program 11 years ago. The school has given her a breath and depth of education that has supported her in becoming a strongand sensitive, creative and resilient adolescent. The Waldorf approach is more necessary now then ever with our ever changing times. As a parent my experience of the community has been enriching andvery welcoming. I have found the teachers very available and highly devoted. This school is a gem in the city with much to offer.

Nadia Pestrak: , and create a community that is extraordinary. Any concerns I expressed regarding my child were heard. At times I would email the teacher and she would respond that same night, with attention to my concern and a way forward -- certainly above and beyond expectation. I highly recommend this school - both for early education and later grades. The school has great information about its curriculum and its rationale.

Anton Christopher: Simply amazing childcare - our daughter has been going here for a year now and we are being amazed every day by the home-like, loving and magical atmosphere that the caregivers create. Each child is known, seen and appreciated for their unique self. Best in Toronto!

Cedar MacTavish: As a Waldorf Academy alumnus, I can confidently say that my time there from Kindergarten to Grade 8 gave me a truly unique educational experience that I doubt I would have gotten at a standard elementary school. The engaging Waldorf school education model, as well as the special environment of Waldorf Academy itself, are excellent for nurturing and fostering the creative instincts of a child, and it has helped me unlock a love of learning and creativity that has followed me into my adult life.

Michael Bernstein: We've been at Waldorf now for 4 years and have both our son and daughter at the school. This is not only a school but a community of parents, teachers and staff who are committed to offering a caring, attentive, creative, holistic, and flexible education. Students get the same academics as other schools but get so, so much more - from teachers who move grade to grade with students, to the use of arts to bring lessons to life, to kids making their own textbooks, and getting much more outdoor time than typical. If you're at all curious about the school, come for a visit and meet some current students and parents. You'll know quickly, as we did, that this is a special place for your kids to spend their schooling time.

Danielle Marcos: I have been a parent at Waldorf Academy for five years, since my firstborn joined in JK. Our family has received so many blessings from being part of this school: Incredible teachers who really 'get' my kids, and work with them for them to unfold their highest potential. A curriculum that continually surprises me with it's beauty, depth and sensitivity. A community of parents that works hard, and plays hard together. I am so grateful to this school. It is a joy to see the blossoming of our kids, and our family.

Palmer Zukerman Schure: great school

Julia Wyncoll: Two of our children went from kindergarten through grade 8 and have both made the transfer easily and well to high school academically and socially. As importantly they are interesting and inquiring young adults who we are eager to watch make their mark on the world.

Marla Spiegel: Since our son transferred to the Waldorf Academy in Grade 2, we have watched him transform. He went from being from a child who hated school to a positive and engaged student. He is accepted by the teachers and fellow students and feels part of a community. At the Waldorf Academy, the Faculty truly care about the students and support them to succeed. Education is not rushed. It is holistic. The focus is not test scores or rote memorization of facts. Students learn through inquiry based model, one which will serve them best throughout life. Less emphasis on acquisition of facts, more about learning how to learn. There are many benefits of Waldorf's approach to education and child development, and we have been delighted by our son's academic and social development since joining the school.

Rotherglen School: what do users think?

Arunima Mukherjee: Great school. Great teaching and non teaching staffs. My daughter is going to Rotherglen from pre Casa. Now she is in grade 4. She is evolving into a fine, smart , well mannered young girl under the guidance of all her teachers. So far all her teachers are very supportive in every possible way. They encourage her to develop and share her curricular and extra curricular talents with her friends. Her friends are all very kind and supportive too.We are very satisfied and happy that we took a good decision for our daughter.Need to mention Mrs Rossi’s name, who was very supportive and helpful from the first day.Mrs Jacinta Snyder head of school is a wonderful person.

Humzee Nacho: I am currently in this school and it is awesome

Etthan: say hi to Mrs.rossi

Mohsin Cheema: Great school, great staff and great environment. I had 2 kids going there for 3 years. I noticed huge change in them simply because the teachers provided individual care and the management staff and the overall school system is well integrated to make things happen in a positive way. The school building and architecture is also inspiring.

ABC Montessori: what do users think?

Eric: Both of my daughters have been students at this school. My oldest daughter started in elementary then graduated grade 5. She then went into grade 6 at our local Catholic elementary school where we found that she was much more advanced than the rest in her class. My youngest daughter started ABC as a toddler and is currently in her second year. She loves it there and eagerly looks forward to go to school everyday! The academic experience for both of our daughters has been excellent. The teachers and administration staff are very polite and caring. I am very grateful for all the dedicated teachers at ABC Montessori that have allowed for our children get a well rounded experience over all these years.

Nicole Huang: My child attended ABC Montessori since January and we have a very good experience so far with the school. The teachers are very polite, caring and professional. My little one has been learning a lot. And he likes the food there too.

Rinki Mukherji: Both of my children have been students at this school since kindergarten and we could not have asked for a better academic experience. The focus and quality of education is top notch. It’s a pleasure to watch my kids burst into songs teaching new subjects such as provinces of Canada or French songs. The teachers and school administration adopted really well to tackle the challenges of hybrid learning during covid. Overall it’s been a great journey for our children at ABC Montessori.

John York: I attended ABC Montessori for the first 4 years of my school life - and it's an awesome school. Although I went there over a decade ago, I'm sure nothing has changed, it's a great school that focuses on your academics and overall character. Other reviews state that private schools have profit as their priority - that's not the case with ABC Montessori.

Zahra Nazareth: ABC Montessori is a fantastic school. My children have thrived, both educationally and socially, since joining. The staff and teachers are phenomenal. They go above and beyond for the children and show a genuine concern for their wellbeing. With the pandemic this past year, providing quality education could not have been an easy feat. However, without missing a beat, the staff and teachers have navigated through these difficult circumstances to ensure the students are well looked after and provided with a strong curriculum. I'm so grateful for everyone at ABC Montessori!

Rajan sharma: & reads at a grade 3 level, she understands math /geography/science/French & has learned about so many other things. The curriculum at ABC is nothing short of outstanding, I moved to Milton last year & continue to drive my kids to Mississauga everyday because this school is that good.

Sienna Hui: My son enrolled the Sr. CASA program for one year, and he loved the time when he was in school. The teachers are friendly and caring. The programs are not only focusing on academics, but also focusing on self development. Hand crafting, monthly journey, circle times that allow students to develop on self creation and communication.

Melissa Sharma: Both of our children attend ABC Montessori and it was the best choice we ever made. We chose to enroll our children in this school because it is academically based. I can speak very highly about the administration and the teachers here. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure the kids are receiving a well rounded experience. The teacher to student ratio helps with this as well allowing them to focus on each child. ABC Montessori is the best investment any parent can make for their child's future.

Arun Vaidyanathan: Our kid has been attending ABC Montessori school for 2 years now. I vouch for the best in class education without rushing the children with adequate focus on academics. The school has handled the pandemic situation extremely well through proper communication, coordination with the parents and screening the children on a daily basis, that has helped the school to function very smoothly. Kudos to the teachers and management!

Fares Sbaiti: The effort and organization they’re showing during the covid chaos is phenomenal. Great school and caring staff. My daughter is getting smarter everyday and she loves it there.
