Ontario Ministry of Education: what do users think?

Tina S: I would like to make a suggestion: In every school every child should make a statement daily loud and clear.I myself and nobody else . My country is Canada and I am on the right path.Right now I am 7 years young.

rich bc: I don't believe the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario is destroying education. In fact, it is actually the opposite, as they get the job done and students have the same experience with less spending, and less stress for taxpayers. Essentially, they are saving budget where it is easiest, and everyone benefits. There would be much more Covid-19 cases in schools under the slow-moving liberals, Doug and his government have been quick to act.

Mentor College - Main Campus: what do users think?

Kyle Cruz: I play basketball here. The courts are really nice.

Ethan Ping: AHHHHHHH

spooksam6: Amazing school

Lucia Cnota: As a parent of two children who attend Mentor College, I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful school. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and supported by the staff and teachers. One of the things that really stood out to me about Mentor is their commitment to creating a positive and inclusive school culture. They celebrate diversity and promote kindness and respect among all students.

Syd K: Education is swell, teachers are pleasant, and there are so many fun events! The teachers are willing to help students who are struggling. There are so my extracurriculars! The school only provides the best education, but only for those who can afford it.

Doug Graves: I had two children attend Mentor College from grade 5 to 12. The teachers were amazing, administration helpful, and the atmosphere supportive. University admissions guidance was detailed and what made it all worth it is seeing my children thrive at Queen’s and U of T. The academic standard pushed my kids and for that I am grateful! Thank you, Mentor!

Mariusz Cnota: Best school ever!!

Holy Name of Mary College School: what do users think?

Alex Fernandes: I attended HNMCS from grade 5-12 and it was such an amazing experience. The school provides you with so much opportunity to grow and develop in such a healthy and close knit community. From the vast extracurriculars I participated in all eight years, to the leadership trips, the classes and some of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had, I absolutely loved my time at the school and reminisce on those days all the time. HNMCS prepared me for university so well, I felt confident going into post-secondary school, and was determined to lead my way through my four years of my undergrad. I am a proud alumna of Holy Name and I cannot wait to see the school grow further and inspire new generations of female leaders!

Sifa: My daughter has grown and learned different aspects of life in HNMCS, in a very conducive environment. She looks forward to going to school and enjoys the extracurricular activities

Moji Korede: We are so glad we made the right choice choosing Holy Name Of Mary college school to educate our one and only daughter. Our daughter joined the school grade 8 in September. it is interesting to express that our daughter is always happy going to school daily. Our great joy for such a school that provides a balance of academics, engaging extracurricular activities, sports, highly qualified and amazing staff, always ready to support the girls academically and providing opportunities for the girls to become confident, successful and compassionate women in today’s world. We will choose the school over and over again. Thank you for all you do.

Kevin MacDougall: Our daughter moved to HNMCS for grade 9 and it has been a very positive experience. She is very happy and is thinking outside of the box. We reach out to the teachers and they are responsive and give wonderful feedback. Overall it has been a very positive experince.

Nevaeh: Very nice school; I regret that I didn’t go there because I did get in. If you’re looking at the comment section, thinking whether you should go there, DO NOT HESITATE! It’s probably the best all-girls private school in GTA.

Cassandra Irving: HNMCS changed the trajectory of both of our daughters' academic success! We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible education and overall experience both our middle school daughter and high school daughter received over the last several years at HNMCS. High-fives and big hugs to all the educators, administrators, coaches, and spiritual advisors that make HNMCS a great place for young women to go, grow, and glow.

June Jao: Our daughter started at HNMCS in grade 5 - YR 2020 and is currently in Grade 6. Since at HNMCS - we have enjoyed dinner conversations about Aboriginal Affairs, Social Justice, Equality and her thoughts about the book they read in Grade 6, "Hidden Figures." The discussions have been enlightening. We are enjoying how she is developing into a young woman!

Steve Bryan: I have been thoroughly pleased with HNMCS since my daughter began attending HNMCS’s middle school. Our transition from the public school system to HNMCS was profound and has exceeded my expectations in every way. The class sizes are small and the teachers are caring, engaged and dedicated to the success of their students. Co-curricular programs offered at HNMCS are exceptional. Within the school is a strong sense of school pride and family. Notably, HNMCS prepares their students for success at university and beyond by promoting a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and belonging. For example, HNMCS regularly schedules spirit days where students of all grades blend together in groups, to work as a team toward accomplishing a wide variety of tasks and challenges.Unfortunately, my daughters time at HNMCS has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, HNMCS has handled these challenges exceptionally. Through remote learning, HNMCS has successfully kept learning fun, exciting and engaging. Even holding online spirit days. The bottom line, my daughter is very happy attending HNMCS.

Silvia Aricci: Holy Name of Mary College school - Mississauga is such a wonderful school filled with Educators that really care for the girls. My daughter has thrived not only Academically but also she has an extended family community where she has felt safe and taken care of.The staff works tremendously hard to help the girls with their studies and I have seen great work from my daughter since attending HNMCS. She has not only thrived academically but she has also become a confident young women!Holy Name of Mary College is a wonderful school and we are so proud to be part of this wonderful community!

Delia Filippazzo: One of the best decisions my family made was choosing Holy Name Of Mary college school to educate our daughters. I am happy to share that we chose a school that provides a balance of superior academics, engaging extracurricular activities, sports, highly qualified staff and opportunities for girls to become successful and compassionate women in today society.

Voula Marinos: Our daughter has thrived academically and socially at HNMCS since she began in grade 9. The teachers are phenomenal -- supportive, engaging, and pushing girls to do their best. She has been exposed to top notch teaching, and has learned how to learn. She will be well prepared for university in terms of critical thinking skills, organization, assessment and content. Our daughter has met peers who are equally supportive and friendly -- she loves going to school everyday. HNMCS, even through the pandemic, has turned out to be the right fit for our daughter.

Danielle Hough: Our daughter just started this year at HNMCS in Grade 8. She was nervous about the transition. But she quickly made friends and found many activities that suited her interests. The teachers have made her feel very welcome and supported. There seems to be a culture of strength and kindness which we feel will help our daughter thrive.

Sarah Gleisner: Rich opportunities for pre-medical students: Access to global Medical Mission Trips, Hospital Observer-ships, and a thriving Mini-Medical Programme at HNMCS make this an excellent school for any prospective student considering a career in the medical arts. I'm grateful to HNMCS and especially to their Head of Science, Ms. Nicoletti, for providing me with these once-in-a-lifetime experiences!

Rebecca Lau: I attended HNMCS from grades 5 to 12. With its diverse academic and extracurricular opportunities, HNMCS helped nurture my creativity, curiosity, and leadership. Looking back, the medical science program at HNMCS has also broadened many of my insights into the health sector. Teachers were very supportive and eager to facilitate my learning, which has strongly prepared me for university and beyond. As an alumna, I am excited to see HNMCS flourish and continue shaping confident and impactful leaders of tomorrow.

George Gorthy: The last 4 years have been interesting for any high school student. Madison lost her mom after a short battle with cancer during the end of her 9th grade and beginning of her 10th. Grade 11 and 12 have been marked with COVID. Needless to say, I was more than impressed with how the school supported Madison throughout her entire time at HNMCS. The kindness and support provided during her trying times, I think she would have been lost in the crowds at the regional public school. The small size of her classes allowed for lots of individual attention. I recall her coming home in grade nine and telling me about her day in English class. Madison was doing quite well, I believe 85% at the time, her teacher explained to her what it would take to get into the 90s. Madison wasn't used to having a teacher come up and provide this type of additional attention and support. Madison is a very quiet student. I feel that HNMCS helped Madison get out of her shell and express her ideas within groups and not feel threatened or afraid to speak her mind.I was also very impressed with how HNMCS transitioned to online teaching once COVID hit. I recall hearing so many stories regarding public school challenges with the online transition, teachers unions having issues with the approach. At HNMCS I saw a well orchestrated transition to online teaching, ready to go days after their March Break.

Stefanie Hudon: HNMCS was a great all girls school to attend. I attended between grade 5 and 12 and was provided numerous educational, leadership, and extra curricular opportunities, preparing me well for university. The teachers provided significant attention to the needs and abilities of each student, and were always available to help after class if necessary. Overall, I would recommend this school for girls looking to build confidence, gain strong educational experiences and prepare for university.

Julia Orsini: It's been a couple years since my graduation in 2015 and I could not be happier giving my alma matter full stars, especially as a young professional out in the world! My time at HNMCS, while at times challenging, were the best four years of my life. In short, I discovered who I was and what I could give to the world as a young woman acutely aware of our underrepresentation in leadership roles in public life and the corporate world. Teachers helped to craft and challenge our minds at HNMCS, which is something I never truly valued until I was up against other high school graduates in my university classes. The extracurricular experiences I had at HNMCS kept me not only busy, but well-rounded in my pursuit to accomplish great successes near the end of my time at HNMCS. The friends I made at this school are my sisters for life.If you are a student like I was trying to figure out where you fit into the world, HNMCS is the place for you. The personalized support and attention given to me in those pivotal years of my life were so monumental in shaping who I am today. I am so grateful for HNMCS and will continue to give back to the community.

JIC School: what do users think?

Ifrah Sikandar: Best decision any parent can make for their kids is to make them successful in both worlds. This school is helping parents to achieve this goal. Principal and staff is very cooperative. They are involved so much that they never shy away to give students one to one help. My son is clearly getting better with his salahs and learning more about our religion. Even their curriculum is very up-to-date.

Muhammad Sameed Hussain: I came to register my kids at this school, the staff was very friendly and answered all questions my wife and I had. The curriculum is top notch with perfect balance of deen and dunya. I would recommend any parent to look further into JIC school for their kids.

Omar A: Grade kindergarten to grade 8, great teachers and friendly staff, Islamic education with Canadian curriculum

Sivs: Excellent school. Quality staff and great curriculum!

OZ: Excellent Islamic School in Mississauga. It’s very difficult to find the right school that teaches both Islamic Education as well as Ontario Curriculum. JIC School was the right choice. Amazing staff and office management. Registration was very simple and easy. I would 100% recommend them to the whole islamic community.

sivethan sivanathan: This school is top notch. The staff are caring and very experienced on the relevant topics. I reviewed the curriculum, and it’s is great. I can recommend this school to any parents! This school also serves as a great volunteering option for anyone looking.

Attiqa Sheikh: Love this school, from the students to the teachers and the challenging curriculum. JIC school sets high standards in their teaching curriculum and emphasizes leadership and the importance of values in each lesson. Teachers are able to give students 1:1 time when necessary and the smaller student to teacher ratio allows for more engaged and confident students. Teachers are passionate about their jobs and about student success. Adjustments are always made to meet student needs. The administration is always readily available to address any concerns or questions that you may have. Education in JIC School has been a very positive experience for my family.

Mississauga Secondary Academy (MSA): what do users think?

shannon bowen: Great school, instructors are professional would recommend this school for anybody who wish to Learn. Teachers are very patient

Namarig Elbashir: Great school, Teachers are very nice and helpful,I would recommend MSA school to any family looking for a quality.

Jiaxin Shen: I love the vibe and ppl at this school!

Mini Bala Verma: Amazing place to work and learn!

huairong xu: The consultant teacher is very responsible, as is the one-to-one English teacher; the school is located in an office building, and the environment is good, and classes will be held online and classes will start here next month, so the school is running fast. I hope the child can make great progress here.

Chen Jeremy: A great school to go to. The teachers and counsellors are professional and mindful.

Jing Bi: Fortunately, I met a reliable consultant teacher, who has been helping the children solve the problems of the Summer School curriculum, and use my rest time until the problem is completely solved. Recommended and thanks.

dhwani panchal: Best academy for IELTS preparation

Kamal Bhatia: MSA, My first school to start my career as a OCT teacher, gives liberty to teachers to innovate and experiment new teaching strategies! Got best teacher award.Ms. Amal, Mr. Mario continuously work for the enrichment of the staff.....The school follows all Ontario systems, Curriculum for students and teachers to learn and grow! Small class sizes and excellent results.

Yasmeen Ibrahim: I can honestly say from experience MSA was the best schooling experience I have ever received thus far. From all my 12 years in the educational system, the 2 years I spent in MSA topped all the other years I spent in other educational institutes. MSA truly cares about its students, I mean truly. Its a small class size with around 4 students each class. I think this small class size is a big advantage because it gives you more accountability. You are able to ask questions if you are stuck with anything and ask for the help that you need. The teachers there treat you like family and the schools environment is positive. You get to know each student personally and because all the students are focused on one goal, which is working hard it motivates you to work hard too.Not only that but, its education level and curriculum pushes you and expands your knowledge. Before coming to this school I found math difficult but after realizing that I just needed more one on one attention and needed the right environment to learn in, I cant believe I am saying this but it made me fall in love with math, especially physics. You will not regret attending this school, it will push you hard and it will help you believe in yourself and give you the grades that you have been wanting, with hard work of course. But with their top education system and their care for students you will get there . I highly recommend attending this school as I did for 2 years and never regretted it.

MMH: to be caring and honest people. We had a great experience with the school and wholeheartedly recommend them.

ke wang: "It was a great experience for me to study at MSA."

Arooba Baig: MSA is a great school, with a great environment. The staff is so nice and caring and the teachers pay very close attention to each individual student.

George Liu: First of all, MSA is a very professional school with very good teaching resources and teachers. Very advanced electronic equipment is used here. The teachers are also very professional. the teachers is also one of the most professional teachers I have ever met. She has a very good teaching experience and a good personality to teach students.

Ahmed Magdi: I am a student in mississauga secondary academy and i really enjoy and love the school because of the recources and my teachers ms. Neha, Ms.Monica and Ms. kamal
