Kathy Horvat: I called Carlos, from Thermosense Systems to inspect my mother's furnace. He found a carbon monoxide leak and told us that the furnace needed a new heat exchanger. He explained to us our options. We decided to install a new furnace. He was able to find the right furnace size for us and to fit us in his hectic work schedule. Carlos and his crew installed the duct, vents and furnace in two days. He came back to do a follow up if everything was working properly. Shady Biskaly: I pay for a maintenance plan with reliance and I’ve had a problem since October with my water tank and air handler. I’ve called them more than 8 times over the past few months to come and fix it and they’re not able to. None of their techs spent more than 5 minutes at my place and none of them did any diagnostic work; at the end they started telling me that I need to buy a new air handler which averages around $4,000. I finally got fed up with them and called Carlos who came in right away, actually opened the air handler and checked what the problem is and had it fixed within 30 minutes at a very reasonable price. Carlos knows his stuff. He takes time to actually diagnose the problem and always has a solution that won’t break the bank. He took the time to explain to me the best way to maintain my ductless a/c unit which no one had ever done before even though I had it installed just 2 years ago and serviced the year after that. He went above and beyond. In fact, if his service was only average, I would've given a much lower star rating since my a/c unit is fairly new and still under warranty although labour costs are not included in the warranty which is disappointing to say the least. So hats off to you, Nikhil. You should probably get paid more.
