Fresh. That’s the word I’m going to use to summarize the food here. It tastes amazingly fresh. Come early or order ahead if you’re going for lunch, as the line-ups can get pretty wild. Got to try the chicken breast dinner and it was fantastic. It was grilled perfectly, and is served with salad, rice, potatoes, tzatziki, and a small slice of pita bread. I used Plaka for a staff appreciation lunch for my company and everyone absolutely loved the food, it was some of the best Greek food I’ve eaten. The owner Mark was great to work with when placing an order for 60 meals and was very easy to communicate with and got back to me in a very timely manner. Amazing restaurant and authentic atmosphere! The chicken Greek salad has been my go to meal since 2017 at least a once or twice a week religiously until the pandemic separated us since I was working from home. My mom came to visit from Quebec. She lived in Port Credit for about 30 years and swore by colossus Greek taverna. I said ‘mom once your try Plaka you won’t think about any other Greek food’ we each ordered the chicken Greek salads and it was so much food!!
