Vincent Lee: If you want great Hot Pot, come here. Orders came in super fast. What does suck is that you only get 1 hour and 30-45 min to order, but in that time frame you should be full.Recommend the Premium Set. The Wagyu Set is okay, but honestly hot pot meat tastes mostly all the same.Parking: A lot. Trust.
Jason Dong: Came in on a Monday afternoon, no lineups at the door, had the Wagyu dinner for 2, ordered a bottle of Chardonnay to go with the seafood but the wine was brought to us in room temperature, returned the wine and had Sapporo, Soju and fruit flavored Sake instead. also there was no regular Sake on the drinks menu for some reason. Scallops, oysters and abalones were nice and fresh. Sour and spicy soup was delicious, perfect base for the seafood selections, the spicy soup base also paired really well with the meat, hit the spot. the wagyu wasn't too impressive to be honest, but our server Amy was great, super friendly and professional, very attentive through out the dinner. Overall a good experience, will be back. hopefully you guys will work on the beverage menu.

Fan: I had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The wait time for one person was minimal, so no complaints there, but be cognizant of the fact that a larger group may have to wait a bit as the place is bustling. There is a wide array of menu options in regard to broth, beef selection, and other options some may be receptive to in trying out. The service and staff were extraordinary and made me feel truly welcome and were dutiful in the way they attended to their costumers. I am highly suggesting this place to try out the food and to have a great place to hang out with friends and family. Will be coming back again.
Roy Luz: Quaint and cozy hot pot restauraunt. You're definitely not starved for choices in the Silver Star Blvd. area, but I can definitely attest that Yabu Shabu is definitely worth a visit especially if you're fiending for jp style hot pot and Japanese dishes, as well.Got the hot pot set with the spicy miso broth and premium brisket-- it was filling, incredibly rich, plenty of veggies and other add-ons included, and all for a very fair price as well! The serving size is just perfect to have it all to oneself, but it would be good for sharing along with some sides as well. I loved the personal stove and presentation of it as well. Looking forward to visiting again for more, and I'd definitely like to try more on the menu! Definitely don't regret dropping by on a whim, they might just be my new favorite restauraunt in the area!

Niah Pham: My partner and I prefer this Gyubee as the wait time is drastically shorter than the other location. Also the service here was excellent as the staff were extremely helpful in keeping our table clean while we ate and made sure we got our orders quickly in a timely manner. We appreciated the way they looked out for us and made sure we enjoyed our food.
free you: Be ready to eat a lot! They have lots of different meats and sides, including a very good bibimbap. The prime steak, shrimps, tongue, salmon, edemane, pork belly, are highly recommended. You get to cook most of it yourself on provided grills adding to the experience.They have a variety of drinks and alcohol as well.Service is good, location is great and prices are affordable.

Emma Benner: my favourite place in toronto to have an exceptionally fun time. Hilary has been our server consistently, mostly because we ask for her every time. i’ve never had a more sweet, attentive, kind, talented person like Hilary take care of us at a restaurant.the food is consistently BOMB, the staff consistently kind and fun, the experience consistently 10/10.i can’t recommend this place enough. if you go - ask for hilary. and you better tip her accordingly!!! she’s a queen.

Krn JE: Japanese ingredients prepared in a contemporary way. The place is beautifully decorated and has a cozy atmosphere, great for date night. the umeshu selection is exquisite, and was definitely the most memorable part of our visit.the dishes that stood out the most were the sumen + oyster and the squid + cucumber sunomono. The salads and pickles were nothing special.The portion to price ratio is as expected for a restaurant in the area and popularity, portions are small and the price is high.

Chau Pham: Discrete entry, this small capacity bar is divine. Opting to sit at the bar as the patio was full, the intricate detailing and styling creates an luxe feel. The bar menu is expansive and encourages you to converse and trust the friendly and knowledgeable staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of sake and umeshu. The food was delicate, the oyster was the standout. I honestly can’t wait to head back for their whiskey selection.
Andrea Rezza: The place to be for sake lovers.Food wise is really like a japanese style izakaya, where portions a more tapas-like than proper meal size plates, and each one of them tasted very balanced and authentic. Much more than many so-called izakayas in Toronto.The sake list is amazing. The servers or Stuart himself would be happy to guide you thru the several option and will look for the best option for you.I really loved the idea of choosing my own cup among a selection of several different styles.
