True Adventure: This is a wonderful place that after many years is sadly closing its doors forever at the end of August. Thanks for years of faithful service. Is a great store Run by great people. The end of an era and sadly the sign of things to come. What we need is more stores like this and less Amazon and Walmarts.
Kayla Adams: When I brought my machine in for repair they were helpful. The woman who works at the shop taught me to use a tool that will reduce some of the wear and tear on my machine. As a self-taught seamstress, it is wonderful to pick up useful tips like this. I understand that with supply chain disruptions and labour limitations, it can be hard for them to get parts quickly. I am happy to wait for what I know from past experience will be well-done repairs to my machine.

Laura Li: There is a limited selection of yarns, which is understandable considering that this is a sewing store. They sell Estelle and Cascade yarns, as well as some other brands. Most of their yarns are wool, alpaca, or a wool blend. They also have a section of baby yarns. They have a nice selection of knitting needles, including my favorite - Chiaogoo knitting needles.I haven't been able to shop here since the pandemic and their website seems super old and doesn't list the items they sell. It would be great if I was able to order online from this store.

For the level of professionalism and service I received, I would have absolutely been willing to pay a premium price.I ended up purchasing a new Juki DDL 8000a industrial machine from them but would also feel confident purchasing used machines from them in the future. They didn't have a used machine with quite the features I was looking for but the machines I saw all looked very well restored and serviced. Pricing on these used machines was also competitive with other sources for used machines.I recently had a very bad experience with another business selling used machines and it's so refreshing to find somewhere that I know I'll be able to depend on down the road to service my machines and for future purchases as my business grows.
