Rattray Marsh Conservation Area: what do users think?

sartaj dhanju: Good

Bruce Lewin: Wonderful place to walk. Great pathways and boardwalks. It changes every week. If you’re lucky you might spot some wildlife too. Extremely well cared for.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

stephen cox: Beautiful place to walk, sit and reflect.

TRIJAY MEDIA: My favourite hike spot recently. Beautiful walk, marsh, you can see deers/owl/woodpecker/even a bat. Lots of furry friends walking aswell. I have taken many friends on this hike too.

Ivana M: The boardwalks are beautifully done to guide you to observe some lovely sights of wildlife and nature. Usually less busy if visiting on a weekday.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Laurie Egerter: Lots of options for shorter walks. Went on boardwalk down to the lakeVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Arthur R. Chinnawat: Beautiful lakeside park There is a promenade along the coastline. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Breathe in fresh air that fills your lungs Listening to the sound of the waves and the wind helps to relax. There is ample free parking. I walked under the shade of a tree. and meditate i feel great if you have free time must visit this place

Aritra Nandi: Nice place for a cool evening walk. Enjoy the walk around the marsh and then relax at the beach... It's awesome. But it doesn't have a dedicated parking slot, and you have to use the parking for Jack Darling park. And finding a parking is a terrible task if u don't reach early, and it's almost impossible. The picnic goers reach early in the morning and take up the parkings. If you are only planning to visit the marsh, look for alternate areas to park in the area... Don't even bother to try the dedicated parking.

Eduardo Amaral (Eddy): This Park/Picnic/Beach Conservation Area was a good experience for my family and i, there are trails to walk through for if you are someone who likes to go on nature walks,It's all been landscaped by the city and seems like it is still being landscaped in some areas,The park is good enough for kids to play and there is a public washroom,The beach that's here is small and not much shade so bring a big umbrella,There is enough parking from what I can see but can get full quick so I recommend coming early.

A K: Boardwalk trail around the lake were busy on a summer Saturday, people squeezing by so if you don't like that keep it in mind. Mosquitos pretty bad on the other trails on the day I went. Trails were nice and some neat art to see. Decent bathrooms They had some unique stuff at their store for fair prices. One thing I did not like is that there are signs at the gate posted that say you have to reserve online but nothing on their website about that. Pulled up to the booth and it is fine to pay at the gate. My friend took the sign at face value at wasted 10 minutes using her data to reserve online when it was not necessary. They should take down the signs. You shouldn't need to have internet access and a credit card to access a park.

Huma Tariq: Our family's favorite conservation area with boardwalk trail around the beautiful meromictic lake

Yuliya Chimiris: Perfect place. You can take a walk in any weather, because there is a wooden platform around the lake, your feet will be clean. The walking trail is small, but picturesque. Near the parking lot is a small museum about the life of the Indians. In autumn, maple syrup is brewed and the process of making queuruz cakes is shown. There are few picnic tables.

PJ: I was enjoying a wonderful walk with friendsthrough the grounds of CRAWFORD CONSERVATION. The breath taking views of the lake and the fresh air have you feeling like you're in the middle of a rainforest. It's a must see and experience. Great place to adventure with the kids. Lots of historyto know. BTW.....You must call and reserve your time.

Carlin Selwyn: A hidden treasure located close to the famous shipwreck that landmarks the shores of Port Credit in Mississauga. Upon arriving at the park, I spotted two parking lots, one large and one a little cozier with easy access to the trail that leads into JC Saddington Park. The park boasts picnic areas, look out points, duck ponds, parkettes, picnic tables and washrooms. This park is conveniently located along the Port Credit shoreline which allows you to explore this park and all the other parks linked by the waterfront trail. All in all, a very enjoyable experience visiting this park.
