Jivan Sekhon: Love the food, love the atmosphere, love the service. My favourite, the butter chicken. I usually hate restaurant butter chicken. But, I actually crave Zauq’s. And this is me trying places across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and now Toronto. Always hits the spot. I’ve brought a couple of friends here and they were not disappointed! Harpreet is wonderful and always made sure to check in. 10/10

The best advantage to live in Canada is that you can try out so many different cuisines and local foods. Today we decided to explore Pakistani place and simply loved it. The place is nice but seating is not big. It can be paradise for non-vegetarian and we still found some vegetarian options (there are only 5). But I still strongly recommend this place. So here is my food list: - Chikkar Channa Lahori ***** - Kalonji naan ***** - Sesame naan ***** Chana is too good. Not oily at all and perfect blend of spices. Wish they can add more vegetarian items.
Relatively unknown place but surprisingly fine food & very accomodating service. Also a very affordable, delicious & filling; weekend breakfast. Breakfast is $6 average with an excellent & tasty Anda Paratha (Omelette/Roti). There is no other desi place we know of that serves Anda Paratha. Halwa Puri was also nice. It is not the Karachi type (if you are looking for that) but has their own taste to it & is worth trying. Lunch/Dinner is also nice. Butter Chicken was tasty and was wiped out quickly by our guests. Korma has a homemade taste to it & meat pieces are larger than average. However, the meat was extremely tender so regular eaters can easily split the meat. Biryani stood out because it comes with Egg! The taste is good too. There are definitely better biryani in GTA but we would not mind just getting it from here with other food. In BBQ, Bihari Boti was excellent and disappeared quickly off the plates. It is spicy and looked almost like Dum ka Qeema until you taste it wh...

Mazam My Way: I don't know who needs to hear this, but their qeema naans are better than any naan walas.
Gaiti Haq: Excellent halwa puri nashta but unfortunately no place to set and enjoy the food
Ramkumar Srivatsa: Went again to try Korma this time but apparently they dont have everything on the menu, so hard cheese..........had to go somewhere elseAm a gourmet and big fan of Nihari but very disappointed with the 2 supposedly famous joints at Mavis & Britannia - hence tried Ziafat for the first time - Outstanding indeed!! The flavors were authentic and the meat just dissolves, as it should in a true Nihari - took me back to my fave joint in Dxb at Satwa - fingers crossed, hope Ziafat continues to maintain the momentum. So for Nihari fans, Ziafat is worth it!

Hadi Aamir: I have been going to Ziafat, for many years and they have always been consistent with their amazing food options and customer service. Wether you do takeout or dine-in their kebabs, chicken tikka, malai boti naan and paratha wraps are the best ones I’ve ever tried. One of the few good quality Pakistani restaurants there is within Mississauga.
Merelene Khan: I visited Ziafat 2 weeks ago just to give the restaurant a try. I met a very friendly, welcoming young man working I ordered the Dum Biryani to take home which was delicious. The portion was generous and included salad which was enough for my son and I. The food was fresh and delicious. I returned today and the customer service again was excellent. I chatted with the owner who was also very friendly. We tried Signature Sajji Lahori - Qtr Leg Chicken and Seekh Kabab Lahori which was another excellent choice. I mentioned to the owner that I wanted to get there earlier to try the Halwa but it was too late since it is a breakfast item .In my order the owner gave me a serving of the halwa to try again no disappointment. We will definitely will order food again. The reasonably priced menu, delicious food and excellent customer service is a big plus for me.I have already recommended the restaurant to a couple of friends and will continue to do so!
