Hina Arif: Ordered brain masala, chanay , chicken karai and BBQ. Everything was soo delicious. NORA was polite and nice. She checked on us on n off . Although i would like to metion we called an hour before we arrived at the restaurant to reserve a table and then waited another 15 min at the restaurant to get a table even though the tables were empty. But the food was so good that everything else is forgotten!

Nancy Anctil: We had an awesome meal at Badshah! The mixed vegetables were perfectly cooked and the level of spice was great. The nihari was great. The meat was really tender and juicy and the sauce was so tasty. You definitely need naan bread and rice with this meal to ensure that nothing is left behind! Great portions and great prices! Osama Baig: I ordered 6 large trays of birryani from here and it was extremely delicious. My family, friends and guests thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. Although I am not personally a fan of lamb/goat, this was by far the most popular dish at the event. I'll continue to do catering from this location! I also came here for a family dinner to dine in. The owners were extremely nice and also gave us free desert. The meat kabob was simply made to die for, I highly recommend checking it out as the bbq is exceptional. This is probably the only pakstani/Indian restaurant that I keep coming back to again and again, because the food they make is "almost" on par with what I eat at home. Again, for anyone that's new to South Asian cuisine or wants to try out the real flavors of Pakistan, come to this place. Avoid the cheaper places like silverspoon

Ilyas Mulla: Ambience is good, seating is good. The problem is noise. Because of Banquet hall right next to dining, it's noisy. Fish pakora was not good. I think they keep the skin on so it's rubbery. Fish pakora should be crispy n can be consumed without struggling. I brought the attention to cashier and hope they make proper pakora I eat at other places.Chicken masala was good n so was naan
Dr. Syed Erfan Asif: For a party of about 200-250 guests, this is my place to go to. I had booked the banquet hall for my daughter’s mehndi and it went so smooth that I could hardly believe. The food was awesome, arrangements were great, staff was respecting and helpful especially Danyal, Osama and Asim to name a few I have been in touch with. Great environment and beautiful set up. Cleanliness of the lobby and washrooms was exemplary.

Jivan Sekhon: Love the food, love the atmosphere, love the service. My favourite, the butter chicken. I usually hate restaurant butter chicken. But, I actually crave Zauq’s. And this is me trying places across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and now Toronto. Always hits the spot. I’ve brought a couple of friends here and they were not disappointed! Tom Stavri: A really incredible hidden gem in the industrial/commercial area of the city. The food is a unique treat in a city that otherwise doesn't have many options for Indonesian/Malay food. Top quality dishes are served with passion by very pleasant owners, all at an affordable price.The only warning I would give to some people is that the seating area is very small, so it might not be a good idea to plan on dining in with a large group of people or if you were expecting a place with a fancy atmosphere as it's extremely casual. Aside from that, I would highly recommend it and would consider it one of the best food establishments in the city.

Firliana Purwanti: The portion of their food is huge. Variety of option with authentic Indonesian taste. I had satay and spicy smashed chicken for lunch. Great taste.The space for dine-in is limited. Must be patient waiting for the food to be served.They also have Insonesian beverages and snacks to buy such as es cendol, teh botol, and kacang atom.
