Angel Sharlene Roxanne: My boyfriend and I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were served by a lovely employee. We also got to meet the owner, Lits, she’s great and so welcoming! Now, let’s talk about the food. I’m obsessed with Laotian food, and let me say, this did not disappoint. The flavours were on point, salt and spice levels were done to perfection. Sticky rice was made perfectly, the fried chicken was juicy and so flavourful, the Laotian sausage was the best I’ve had, thinking about their curry makes my mouth water, and their Thai tea is so refreshing with a nice sweet element to contrast with the salty flavours of the food. The sauces that accompanied everything were AMAZING! The Jeow Som and Jeow Bong surpassed my expectations; I would come back just for their traditional sauces alone. Thank you for the amazing service, the smiles, the hospitality, and of course the delicious and authentic Laotian eats. Will DEFINITELY be back and will recommend this place to all my friends and family.
Fatima Rizvi: was my favourite. We got it spicy and it definitely did not disappoint. The Nam Kao was a first for me. As someone who does not like coconut, I was surprised at how something I usually associate with Pina Coladas or Bounty can taste so good in savoury form. Definitely a very pronounced coconut flavour but delicious nevertheless. Last was the chicken fried rice which was essentially fried chicken on a bed of fried rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted great.
Edmund Adderley: Amazing, blazingly hot food here. DO NOT order above a level 2 if you cannot handle serious spice. This warning is SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED at white people who think they can and then run headlong into the fresh chilis and spice that are added. Take the servers seriously when they warn you and don't whine when it's too spicy for your dumb self. Your whining and crying is off-putting to the rest of the guests. Spice level 0 is still perfectly tasty and has no impact on your masculinity. I get it when I'm not feeling the burn! It's fine!Also, wait time can be an issue, so plan accordingly.Vegetarian options: Tofu everywhere
Bang BaBa: I was so hungry I didn’t take much photos.Had Nam Kao, Lao sausage with sticky rice and chicken roll. Honestly worth every penny.Fey, hopefully I spell her name correct was super accommodating. I am definitely going back here with a friend. Delicious place. I enjoy every meal. Sunny Dudeja: Went back to this restaurant after many years. They've done a nice job with renovating the place and improving the aesthetic and overall ambience. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious, but a bit on the milder side of things where it comes to hakka food. This isn't a bad thing at all. Quality of the food is good too. We ordered the sczheuan fish and chilli chicken dry with a fried rice. Overall, a nice place to have a tasty, sit down dinner.Parking: Plaza gets busy on evenings and weekends, so you may have to circle a few times before you find a spot.

Staff is always friendly.Edit: I didn't realize the hours were shortened on the weekend and was hoping to place an order for lunch. I called the restaurant in hopes I could pickup my order right when they opened. Not only did they accommodate me prior to opening, they also allowed me to pickup my food early. I was very appreciative. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Mai CHEA: My go to location for some chicken pad thai. I’ve ordered from here over 5 times and it has always been a pleasant experience. The take out container is always packed to the brim with noodles and loads of pieces of chicken. Each bite hits you with a sweet and slight tanginess that leaves you wanting more.

Ben L: Been eating Lao food prepared by Chef Dao for while now. His Sunday service is my goto for traditional Lao. So nice to have a central location to pick up my food since I am outside his current delivery range. This restaurant is open Wed - Fri with a limited menu, and open Sunday for pick up for his dinner service. Came here on a Wednesday to say hi to the man, and picked up some freshly made mango sticky rice, dumplings, and sausages. Can't wait for his menu to expand and will be back on Sunday for dinner!
Hidemi Okawa, RMT: We had kham kao, seafood and noodle salad and sticky rice with mango! They were all so delicious. I love kham kao so much and they make it really good. Also, their communication was really thorough and helpful and super easy to pick up the food. The overall experience was really positive! I would definitely recommend you to try their food!

I got Lao Food Co. at a pop up shop in the past. You can also order online from their website. Dao, the chef, is so nice and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to try Laotian food. I have to order more since everything was so delicious. Thank you for the amazing food!
M T: Ordered 3 times from here now and the food is very good. Flavourful and portions are a good size. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Laotian food. Note that the food can be spicy so if you want to turn down the flame, request to do so.

Han: Wanted to have some Asian food, saw their good rating and went in. I love the Thai fried rice I ordered. Spicy enough and not sweet. The shrimps are big and fresh. Love it and will defi come back in the future.

You can choose your spice level individually on each dish and which protein you’d like with most of them.They have a few locations though the one at Yonge and Davisville is now sadly closed.Update: recently visited the one in the junction in-person. The renovation is great- lots of indoor and patio seating and a beautiful bar!!Vegetarian options: Almost every main can be made vegetarian!Kid-friendliness: Bright, warm spot, suitable for kids
Satarupa: was absolutely lip smacking, the first sip was like exactly what my soul was searching for haha, definitely must have !Since the Soup itself was quite filling and we aren't big eaters, so ordered the Pla Tod which came with Mango Salad and jasmine rice. It was a big portion of deep-fried basa fish, almost like half of a whole fish.The fish was very fresh and the crumb was crisp, salad was good too but the rice seemed a bit pointless as everything else it came with was dry, would have liked more of the salad and no rice possibly.Also, ordered two beverages and the freshly brewed hot ginger tea was refreshing, the Iced coffee was really strong, but on the sweeter side because of the condensed milk I suppose, nice if you like sweet drinks.Overall, happy with the taste and portions, price is justified and service is good. Definitely going to revisit to have more of the Tom Kha and try more options :

There was some subtle flavours that you wouldn't find at other places and the portion sizes were pretty good. And there was a nice little spicy kick that was appreciated. 5/5 for the food, will definitely order again. Looking forward to seeing how the other menu items are.As for service, they did mess up my order, and I had to sit and wait even longer. The atmosphere/ambience isn't much. Still, you're there for the food, and it's pretty good.Edit: second visit 2023-05-28: pad thai was less stellar than the fried rice. Service stumbled again, had to go back for utensils and napkins.

Chinmayee: Ordered for a take out for 6 people for the first time all vegetarian meal.Their 3 curries are well flavoured and without oyster/fish sauce which is nice. Personal favourite was the Penang curry.Their pad Thai was well balanced - they also provided nuts on the side which was a nice touch.The mango salad was primarily green mango based with small chunks of orange mango, and a bit sour but excellent if that was what your palette likes.Their rice was flavourful and well salted, everyone enjoyed this thoroughly.All in all the feedback from all was the food was well flavoured, not too oily and good portion. We will be back.The only recommendedation I had was make sure to close the take out container lid, or put cardboard pieces inbetween a big order - some of our curry was spilled as the lids were partially unsealed.
