Ammu: I bought sadhya from Ocean Palate Mississauga location , which was delicious. I found out about their samudhra sadhya on Instagram. I was incredibly anticipating the sadhya and was taken aback to learn that the sambar and rasam also contained fish. The amount was quite generous. It was worthwhile, and I'll go back to taste more of their food.
Param Eshwar: From the time you step in, you will be greeted by the aroma of the authentic Kerala cuisine. The nonstop Malayalam song’s completely immerse you to take you back to the days you spent in the streets of Indian soil. The smiles and hospitality of the crew is just commendable. They take time to cook until the original taste is brought to life & further it would carefully be decorated to present with the most awaited moment. I completely appreciate their service & definitely come back.

Santo Dominic: I ordered food from Taste of Malayalees for my daughter’s 1st birthday party and I was very impressed by their delivery and food quality. They delivered the food on time, packed everything securely, and provided all the necessary utensils. The food was delicious, fresh, and authentic. They had a variety of dishes to suit everyone’s taste buds, such as chicken 65, fish pakora, onion vada, appam, beef stew, veg pulao, chicken roast, Gobi Manchurian, veg korma, and fruit salad. The guests loved the food and complimented me on my choice of delivery service. The quantity of the food was very generous, and the pricing was affordable. It was totally worth it! I also want to give a special thanks to Chef Jayesh Chetan for his amazing culinary skills. He made the food look and taste fantastic! I would highly recommend Taste of Malayalees to anyone looking for a convenient and tasty delivered food service for any occasion. The parathas were freshly made and tasted good with nice texture to them. We tried the chicken paratha combo and mutton paratha combo . Both curries were fresh and tasted okay. We ordered the chilli chicken for take out. All the items were a bit bland for our tastes. But the overall experience was good.

Shruthi S R: Found this place by pure chance and so happy to find it!!. Went to the area to try Gurulakshmi but that was too crowded so we searched for the nearest South Indian next to it and found Chimney Fresh. It’s like the perfect hole in the wall authentic Kerala food. The food took long to arrive but everything was delicious- fish, appam, curry, dosa. Very satisfied and highly recommended. They also serve alcohol but no hot beverages

anumita ghosh: We went for the first time during lunch time on a weekend. The food was out of this world. The balance of spices were perfect. My 3 year old son was pretty hungry and we were not sure if we would find anything ‘less spicy’ here but the dosa, sambar and chutney were made keeping a kid in mind and he ate well thankfully.We ordered the king fish fry. The spices were so hot but so good at the same time. The fish was a little old but then where will you get a good fresh catch here. Since I have eaten in India, I knew there was a difference in the fish. But that’s not the chef’s problem it’s just that you don’t get fresh fish here.We also ordered mutton pepper fry and kerela parotha. The flavours were out of this world for both. Mutton was soft, succulent and a perfect level of spice. The parotha were flaky and so good!The highlight was the owner coming to us and talking about the food and if we were comfortable. He told us the spices were all home made.Give it a try if you like spicy South Indian food.Will surely go and try more things from the menu.
Reynold Lobo: Authentic Kerela food. I had the veg thali and it was delicious! My only comment would be the portion of sambar provided; it wasn’t sufficient. The sambar had some heat compared to other Kerela sambar out there, which I really liked. I ordered sambar to-go!I was disappointed in the service and I hope the service improves, because I will be visiting this place often 🤞Vegetarian options: Veg Thali or Sadya available at a good price point.

A Kareer (AKK): Want to bring this to people's attention. The Tips this restaurant collects does not get paid out to the servers. The also don't have enough staff as well. Feel sorry for them because they work hard. I think the owners are taking advantage of these students that work there. Also the spice level is extremely high.DO NOT TIP THROUGH THE DIGITAL PAYMENT. Jane Mangat: Ancila’s is a wonderful find. Her food is freshly cooked to order and is absolutely delicious. You order dinner in the morning and then pick it up in the evening. You can take it home or eat it there. I was fortunate to meet Ancila and discovered that food is her passion as well as helping others. Every weekend she takes hundreds of meals to the homeless camps in Toronto and to the shelters in Mississauga. Sue Kronenfeld: Ancila's restaurant is not fancy, but it is clean and homey. The food is outstanding, prepared with love by an expert who really understands what her customers want. There is no menu: just bring your list of food allergies, an idea of what foods you feel like eating and how spicy you want the dishes, and your appetite! I brought a group of ladies here the other week, some of whom were not used to Indian food, and all were delighted. Ancila never disappoints!

It's not like other restaurants here where you just pick items off a menu. Ancila asks you want kind of meal you want and then makes the food that in her words "has to hit your pallet just right". And hit our pallet it did.I am so glad I was able to visit before she closed for a few weeks but I will definitely be one of her first customers as soon as she is back.P.S. Ancila's kitchen gives back to the community as well by feeding the homeless with nutritious meals prepared by her. Hoping more people support her effort as I would be doing as well.
Kristina Han: Such a delicious meal! Ancila came out and determined what spice we tolerated and what meat/veggies we wanted, and made two delicious meat curries and a roasted eggplant dish. Attentive and fantastic - the beef Curry had the right amount of cardamom without being overwhelming, and the butter chicken was creamy and yummy! We will definitely be back.
