The entire process from estimating to selecting materials ,design and completion of the work on schedule was the most enjoyable and easiest renovation I have ever done from Start to Finish . I’ve done many renovations, and never thought that I could have all the work done in three weeks; 2 bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout , 2 new oak staircases and so much more . I had hesitated to start my renos because I was going on vacation, but was pleasantly surprised with how quickly Mario and his team gave me full confidence of their professional quality of work. In a field that often comes with some anxiety and second guessing, Firmbuilt takes customer service and professionalism to the top level. Larry and his team are hard working, honest, and take this job extremely serious. A R: I have owned three homes during my lifetime so far, and had always went with cheapest roofer, truly you get what you pay for. We want to stay in our current home for many years to come and wanted Certainteed shingles as they were rated very highly and not all roofers install them. Had three quotes, Let it Rain was by far the most professional, thorough, walking me through the entire roofing system, from underlayment, shingles, venting options, metal work and caulking and scope of work including, registration of warranty and workmanship. Other roofers that quoted just showed me roof sample, or quote with no explanations of what they would do or not do, pushing us to use IKO or BP for example instead of the shingles we wanted because of price or saying they were not as good. Did not explain what we were getting, mentioned warranty but no process for registration and reusing existing metal, no mention of caulking, in some cases did not even measure or ask about vents, bathrooms etc. not really sure what I was getting and what happens if I have problem in five years. The Let it Rain crew that installed my roof were excellent, very professional, covered windows, mindful of gardens, patio furniture, cleaned up every day.
