Just wanted to say the food was great! The cost was very reasonable as well! I will definitely order from them again. The food came on time and was hot. Thank you Norbert!!

The owners are super sweet and passionate, once I was searching for Portuguese restaurants in Mississauga and saw reviews that this place was family owned I had to take my family here and it was the best choice, as did my mom and brother. The Portuguese grilled chicken was flavorful, slapped with that sauce just goodness! The potatoes were soft and flavorful too and the rice. To end things on a sweet note the natas were amazing. We visited from California and think this was one of the best restaurants out here.. hope to come once again in the future.

A Iqbal: Great spot for awesome bbq brisket and wings! Finding a halal restaurant offering American bbq is rare and a good one even more so which is why Mad Ox caught my attention. Fortunately they had brisket when I dropped by for dinner. I had the platter with garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw and also got bbq wings.My server Haris explained when he brought the food how the brisket is smoked overnight for 13 hours and is kept warm during the day which is why it’s served lukewarm. Of course I’d prefer it hotter but regardless it was absolutely tender and flavorful, exactly the kind of great brisket I was hoping for! The portion was good for one person.The sides were delicious too and the bbq wings perfect. I wasn’t expecting the wings to be so good! I’ll definitely be returning for the same items. Service was superb and I didn’t have to wait long likely because it wasn’t too busy on a weeknight. Great decor for dining out.
Micaine Carberry: Ordered the Brazilian Tri Tip steak. I had it last year, and it was incredible. This time, it was good but not great. The restaurant was super busy, only seemed to be 1-2 servers. Poor guy looked overworked. He was very polite but was running around so much that service was sluggish. Food came out very fast and overall good. Side dishes were very tasty. They got rid of my favorite seasoned beans!!!! Devastated. The cornbread now is like a full plate instead of a side dish. The restaurant was clean, and the overall experience was still pleasing, but seriously, it was not as good as it was on my last visit. Wish I reviewed it last time, it would have been 5 stars. This one, I would actually rate 3 stars, but because last time was great, I have to say that the reasonable median would be 4 stars. Would go back again because the server suggested the ribs. Maybe the ribs are just as good as they were last time. It is worth giving them a chance as the atmosphere is overall good, food is still good, and pricing is reasonable.

Cuong Lieu: Another great location of the Daldongnae restaurants. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food.It was busy for dinner, they have an online system so you can leave and be texted when your table is ready. The servers work together and patrol the tables to help customers which is very efficient.As always the meat is flavourful and nice cuts of pork or beef, you pay by weighted amounts. We tried the spicy squid salad, it was really nice and fresh with snow pear, cucumber, lettuce and spicy chilled squid.

I normally order one order of beef & pork then cold noodle salad for the main and it would be good for 2-3 ppl.If you come in the weekend make sure you book the table in advance to avoid the wait cuz it could takes quite some times if you don’t. Lilian: - The restaurant is really cute and cozy and in the Mississauga China Palace so it is really close to other places if you want to check them out before/after.- The meat was really tasty and I loved that it came with SO many free side dishes, but keep in mind that the portions are really small. The side dishes around the grill makes the eating experience really interesting and fun but it’s a little inconvenient because they all have different cooking times so you have to keep an eye on them or else they’ll burn. The grill is also on top of the table, unlike other kbbq or jbbq places which have the grill inside the table. Although it looked nice, the oil/grease from the meat would constantly fly and hit all of us. I saw this happened at all the tables around me too which lowkey made me feel like I was at a war zone at the dinner table. MAKE SURE TO WEAR LONG SLEEVES AND PANTS!- The servers were really kind but it was so hard to get their attention. I understand that it was busy so it’s not that big of a deal but I felt like they could have been a bit more attentive to give quality service. We had to wait like 10 minutes at the door before a hostess even noticed us and I was fighting for my life to get a server to notice me to get the bill.- Overall, for the price and experience, I would say this place was alright but I don’t think I would come again. Instead I would recommend trying another kbbq place called KOBI because I think the service and food there provide a way better experience.

I enjoyed the bbq pork ribs a little more then just the regular bbq pork because they were fattier and seemed to have a thicker glaze on them with bit more flavor then the bbq pork that was bit dryer and less fat. Both dishes were good but not overly flavorful that would leave me craving more or eating this again ...if i was in the plaza i would eat it again but would not drive out just for this...if it had a thicker sweater bbq glaze it would taste much better, but still good never the less. They both had the same taste not a huge difrence other then what i described so go with either or to tryService 3/5 the service was fast but i would say could be friendlier and better customer service but acceptable for the most part .

Highly recommend and the service here has always been great every time I’ve been. Kynan DeSouza: Technically a 5 star joint top to bottom. Exactly what you'd expect from one of the best chicken joints in the area. Just the smell of the smoke coming out of the place is enough to get your mouth watering. Both choices of sauces are amazing FYI!! Try to ask for both on the side with a full bird. I just don't recommend sitting down to eat here, take the food elsewhere to eat since it can be smoky.Parking: Few spots next to the building, very tight to maneuver but it's fine for a quick pick up.
Brandon Murphy: I cant speak to the service or atmosphere, as it was picked up by someone else, but his is by far the best Portuguese Chicken restaurant I have tried in Mississauga. The chicken is perfectly moist, the potatoes have great seasoning and both the mild and hot sauce are extraordinary. I don't live in Mississauga, but I will go out of my way to get takeout here again.
