kymberli ann: The room was not fancy but basic, adequate, and clean. We picked this hotel because the price was inexpensive with free parking and much more affordable than the hotels in Toronto. The cost of staying at Super 5 Inn and our Uber rides to a Toronto venue came to roughly $350 total. Renting a hotel room in Toronto and venue parking costs would have cost us at least $500 or more.

J B: Pros: room and surfaces were clean, close to public transport, hot water was very hot and water pressure was good, bathtub is nice and deep, breakfast, parking and wifi are free, staff was courteous, close to large shopping centre.Cons: wifi is very spotty, see-through curtain in bathroom window, fixtures and furniture/decor are older, walls are thin, very busy street and driveway is easy to miss.Not fancy but clean and comfy enough for the price. Would stay again if the wifi issue can be solved.

Scott Ford (Scott Exploring): My 1st Visit to the Toronto Area, this was the best choice hotel I could find and I am so glad that I picked this one. This is a very nice hotel, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was very good, much better then the type that you get in the States at a Super 8. If i am in the area again ,I will defiantly stay here again. The rooms were nice and clean, the internet was fast and the parking was free in the parking lot, which must be a big deal in Canada as every place made a point to mention free parking

Daniela Selberg: Very nice place to stay. Clean, friendly and perfect location in the middle of fun-Toronto. Kensington Market, fashion district and even downtown can be reached by foot. I liked the breakfast also. Not fancy, but fresh fruits, plenty of coffee or tea, cereals and milks, waffles and bagels, some spreads... you can even cook your own food. Fridge and pots and pans...

Gajanan Talwar: Location is nice, lot of options to eat around, near to city. They have limited breakfast, they don't fill the coffee at the time of breakfast, it was empty, even after request they didn't refill it, lot of fellow travellers were disappointed, bathroom and toilet is not clean all the time. I would say overall the location and property is good for solo travellers. Mind some terrible people on the road as it's near to one of the community centre, so lot of drunk people there.Food & drinks: Lot of eating options around
Louis Laugeron: Youth hostel very well located in a lively area and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The reception staff are very caring. Breakfast is included in the price and offers local products. The rooms are modern and very clean, just like the rest of the premises. The only negative point is the noise, bring earplugs, if your room overlooks the street which is quite noisy, especially the bar in front of the hostel. Our room overlooked the side fortunately, we were quite quiet. During our stay there was also work in the morning in the street

Paul Adelt: The Samesun has a great young helpful team which enhanced our stay. When we arrived we were initially surprised by the large number of homeless people. However, these were only present because of a nearby ondachlose aid and did not attract any further negative attention. In the evenings, the area around the hostel offers many activities and on the last Sunday of the month there is a street festival, which included a group of circus artists and a live band.The rooms and lounges are comfortable and there is enough space to have a nice stay. This also applies to the bathrooms. Although there are only two of these per corridor, we never had any problems getting a shower space.At this point a special thanks to Annika for the many tips.

Like other reviews have mentioned, this place is VERY unprofessional, money oriented, and rude.I was expected to pay a "cancellation fee;" the cost of the entire trip! It took 2 Expedia agents to have the owner lower the fee to 2 nights.If you want a relaxing trip where there aren't random fees and fine print on everything, DO NOT book here.

Chris Wendy: Sometimes you just need a budget hotel that is close to where you need to be. This one is great value for money. Rooms are large and clean, staff is pleasant and courteous. It has free breakfast and free parking. It’s right off the highway and has a pool. It is not claiming to be a 5 star, and it’s not, but it is great quality for the price. It answered all our needs and more.We got the room with the kitchen and it was well worth the bit of extra money. Very satisfied.

Mohammad Hammad: , was a definite plus.However, what truly set this hotel apart was the extraordinary service. The staff was Friendly, professional especially that guy his name was Khaled at the front desk. Robert Bonner: Everything was wonderful. The room cleaners were friendly and considerate. I noticed that everyone seemed like they were family. There were children playing around there which gave the place a family environment. It was very cozy. The breakfast was good too. The automatic pancake maker was very interesting. The hostess who was making sure the food area was clean was extremely personable. When I say everybody was friendly, I mean EVERYBODY was friendly from the confirmation phone call I had to make until the day I checked out.

The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished, you feel comfortable. The breakfast room was kept very clean with hot and cold options, including coffee, juice and pastries. Room had more than enough electrical outlets. Even 2 footstools/little seats. Bathroom was also impressive: ample counter space, even included a very helpful night lite, softer towels than normally find in hotels. Lots of "extras". Staff was very professional and helpful. Wow!

This is what we loved about Hampton Inn 10 years ago and many Hampton Inns are missing recently. Ezea explained that the owner is friendly and it's generating this team's friendly mood. Daniel Laprise: Work trip needed a place to stay close to where I was working. Nice hotel. Staff was amazing. Having the breakfast included was good and they had many choices. If you wanted your eggs done another way they would do it. Location is a bit off, I less you're planning to spend you time at Square One. Doors close at 6PM so you need your key after that. Many great restaurants around and at a walkable distance.

After a hard day of work, nothing is better than having a great sleep to recharge for the next day.The hotel is located close to many amenities. Restaurants and other services are all within walking distance. There is also a major shopping mall nearby.The room was immaculate - the housekeeping staff definitely pays attention to detail.The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
