P Dhd: One of their staff Arshdeep Kaur has been assigned to take care of my dad for the last few months; we find her service outstanding. She is very punctual, caring, empathetic in her care which is greatly helping in the physical and emotional recovery and well being.
Kerri Patterson: We have been with Home Instead for several years and anytime we call the office they have been so helpful. We have had the same caregiver for over 1 year now Gurpreet and she is so amazing and professional. My son requires the services. He is non verbal and Gurpreet always comes with a smile on her face and talks to my son as she was having a conversation with someone who is verbal. He is kept clean and comfortable when she is caring for our son. We our so grateful she is our son’s caregiver. One more thing to mention as the people are so professional and well organized , Danielle called and introduced herself and advised what her position is dealing with my son which we appreciate and so we have a name and contact information should we have any issues. Also to mention Arden is also another contact for our son’s team and she is also very professional and assists us with our requests we may. In the end if I were to choose an agency to assist with my sons care most definitely we would have Home Instead off Mississauga.

Jennifer Williams: We have only the best things to say about Home Instead and the way they went above and beyond to take care of our Mom.Our companion Miriam was truly a gift! She learned about Mom and what she enjoyed, and then ensured her findings were incorporated into Mom’s daily routine. She cooked and shopped for Mom, played games, sang songs and went for walks. She even attended medical and hair appointments.On several occasions Mom had to go to emergency and Miriam waited with her for hours. Sometimes she worked a double shift without even being asked. She is truly a treasure and we will be forever grateful to her and to Home Instead for all their compassion, help and support.If you’re looking for home care for your parent or spouse we highly recommend this company!

Fraser Anderson: Hi Folks, my name is Fraser and I'd like to share some of my family's experience with Home Instead and their staff. We found ourselves in a rather urgent situation with my father, who suffers from dementia. With one phone call and a couple of emails, I was able to arrange for a Caregiver to be with my dad within two days of contacting Home Instead. This addressed our immediate concerns regarding my dad's wellbeing, and that of others, which was critical in our case. Once the Caregivers were on site with my dad, his behavior issues were overcome with communication, compassion and caring. My dad started referring to his Caregiver as his co-worker during the daily visits, which was a nice way to think of my dad's day. The interaction of the Caregivers that spent time with my dad every day, along with the staff at Credit River Retirement, made my dad's time much more enjoyable and engaging for him, which was our goal.Home Instead were extremely helpful at a critical time, and their response was a huge relief for our family. Thank you!
Janet M: . He sorely missed his wife since her passing in May 2020 and spent many days in hospital. At Amica City Center he was receiving excellent care but we needed more hours. Based on referral from other family members, I contacted Home Instead. So glad I did, and we arranged 24/7 care.Home Instead provided excellent day and night shift Care Givers who came to know and care for him. They were there whenever he needed support, helping with his meals, taking him to resident activities, etc. They also worked well with Amica City Centre nurses and PSWs, plus the Home and Community Care Support Services - Mississauga Halton.The office staff, Navdeep and her coworkers always kept me up to date when shift changes were needed. Every Care Giver from Home Instead provided excellent care and knew when to call for nursing support and when to call me. I always got excellent updates either on visits or by phone.It was very busy with the comings and goings of other care providers from Amica City Centre, the Palliative team, deliveries of medication, and it was so helpful to me as prime family contact to know that medical supplies, meals and laundry were handled.Darshika, Sandeep, Shaifali and especially Lovepreet deserve commendation for caring for my broker-in-law over the three months he was in their care and especially when he finally was able to join his beloved ‘beautiful wife’, my sister!

I was in Mississauga visiting parents after a long time and needed a short term caregiver for our adult son with significant disabilities and. Involvement. After identifying my needs for our son they provided a highly trained PSA who was caring, professional and excellent with our son! She got to know our son very quickly and went above and beyond to make sure he was well taken care of. It’s not easy traveling with a special needs child for many reasons but the care he received by the PSA sent was top notch. I would contact Right At Home care for future trips without hesitation.

She was required by the clinic to be available nearby while I receiving treatment which reduced my anxiety considerably. I required the service twice weekly for 4 weeks. It's a very healthy environment, one that you'd actually WANT to work in. I worked here for a couple months while in school and it's given me enough knowledge that has helped me become more familiar with working in a medical/office environment! howto anything: Stay away from Helping Hands! They are a group based in Mississauga that go around trying to scam people under the names of various charities such as Plan Canada. Do not open the door for them as they will try to sell you a monthly charity donation, yet most of the money goes to their pockets!Just to clarify this review is for a fake company that goes by the same name.

Simply Femme: I apologize because this is not a review for this specific and legit healthcare company but there is a scam company posting jobs on Indeed and they are also called HELPING HANDS. It's a shame that they cover under existing companies like this one to recruit people, just because they want to hire naive individuals to sell in Toronto, out of the office in very difficult working hours. If you came here because you are doing a research about "Helping hands" because you saw an AD on Indeed or any other job portal please be aware because there is a legit company and there is a fake one scamming people around. This is a picture of how their job posting looks like, please be aware! and once again i apologize because This health care is legit but I wanted to expose the fake one for those who will be in my situation as well.
