Ryan: . ABS outdoor sticks are hard to find in-store for some reason. I then got my skates sharpened by Connor at the Pro Shop. He was very helpful and explained the different types of cuts you can get based on your skating style, something I've never had done before which was cool. Lastly, I needed a new helmet and Daniel and Elena both helped me find I quality helmet and then went out of their way to attach the visor I had already to it. All 3 employees were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend anyone in the area to go here for all your hockey needs!

Ended up getting everything we needed and more for an extremely reasonable price. The store was clean and all the used gear is sanitized and sterilized so there is no smell. All their gear is online so you can make sure they have what you need first. Well worth the drive and will be back again!

Matt & Laura Collaton: We bought new skates for my 9 year old son here. The process was great, took time to properly fit him, bake the skates then use the compression machine to ensure they fit like a glove. Recommendation spend the extra $45ish dollars and get them profiled properly. Make sure you have 1.5- 2 hours to get the process done right including getting the right type of insole for your child’s foot. All in all a 1st class place to get skates.
Kris Howson: Listen I myself am not a hockey player, I can’t even skate, however my nephew is an avid hockey player and we’ve been going here to get his skates sharpened and for other hockey related paraphernalia for years and I have never ever been disappointed at the service or the quality of the products that are sold here. You can tell the people here genuinely care about the craft and about hockey, which makes me feel a lot better about entrusting them with all of our hockey needs. It’s a small little store but don’t let that negate from the fact that they clearly know what they’re doing and are very friendly and willing to help. Honestly it makes me wish I played hockey when I was a kid; it’s just a really good store, you will not be disappointed.

Will L: Agreed, best skate sharpening and hockey advice in the area. They’ve helped myself and sons make informed decisions over the years. I haven’t always bought equipment there because I can be very cost conscious with three of us playing. If you want to reciprocate for their advice without a doubt you can’t go wrong with the products on offer. They do offer many levels of quality as well.
Manbir B: The best place to get new skates. The owner Scott is great, I like how they get to know their customers and build a good relationship unlike the big name hockey stores. If this place is close to you, you shouldn’t even consider shopping elsewhere.

Xiang “Sean” Zhu: We started to buy the regular HS synthetic ice resolution tiles starting 3 years ago, added more in a few occasions to over 100 tiles in basement, they are still functioning perfectly. The tiles are super easy to install. For older kids, one should probably not expect them to improve their skating skill over the tiles, but for stick handling and shooting practice, they learn better when they have their skates on, the tiles will always be useful for any age. We found skates should not be too sharp in order to have an experience close to real ice, which should also extend life of the tiles. The tiles are not slippery, kids can do dryland drills with shoes on them. The tiles can be nice basement floor after no one plays hockey on them, at least for my basement.

Mathew Hughes: This place is great, as a business owner, father of three, and sports enthusiastic, I have to say that everything from the customer service from the extremely helpful staff, and the trade in value to the prices of the equipment and state of the equipment exceeded expectations.I brought my 5 year old son to get suited up for his first hockey season, and the sales staff helped me find the appropriate size of each piece of equipment, even took the time to adjust the helmet to fit him properly so that it was safe, when he could have just told me to do it at home.We even came back the next day to get a stick, and a different sales staff helped size up my two boys for appropriately fitting skateboard protection gear.I have to say the whole experience was fantastic, and I'm thrilled with this location. Whatever you're doing to create this culture for the staff keep doing it! The customers appreciate it.Thanks and have a great day!

Instead, the sales guys knew their stuff and were able to help size and find everything we needed quickly and easily. I called Sherway which is right by my house for a pair of shoes I was looking at no answer & then tried Square One & was so lucky to have gotten Brett on the phone, he went out of his way to check all locations in Cda for the specific shoes I was looking for online & even called the 1 location in Edmonton to check if they had it which they didn’t. Then he tried to accommodate me by offering another shoe & said it was on sale & there was one left in my size & kindly kept it for me until I got there & told me to ask for him & he will bring it himself.
