Nicholas Earle: It's one of my favorite spots in Toronto.
Emily VL: GUY THAT SEATS PEOPLE IS A PSYCHO. apart from that the improv show we went to was 10/10. There’s a guy that basically screams at people if they move without him saying so when you’re being seated. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews but I had to make a comment about him cause his behaviour was completely unwarranted. He literally screamed at paying guests 3 separate times in the course of 5 mins all cause they would take a few steps past where you’re supposed to wait to be seated. There’s no signage stating to wait plus it’s not hurting anyone waiting 2 feet from the official area. So ridiculous. Just another guy trying to exercise the very little power he has. Every time he would scream, everyone already seated would jump and look at him cause we were all shocked at how insane it was. Again show was great. Drinks were great. Venue great. Dude in charge of telling people where to sit, complete lunatic who shouldn’t be in customer service.

Valerie Phu: Spontaneously booked tickets for their “The Pro Show” and I had so much fun! It was my first comedy show ever and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The line up was so funny and they worked well with the crowd. The service was amazing - the drinks we ordered during the show came extremely quickly. Definitely a great first experience at a comedy show and will be recommending it to others!

Djordje Doslo: Absolute hit on the weekend, went on a Tuesday and on a Friday and the Friday show was a lot funnier. Didn’t stop laughing for 1.5 hours. Food and drinks good as well. Good hospitality.

Sandra Cooper: We were a party of 4. Show was fantastic. The problem was with the female that greeted us, very rude. We arrived early first ones there. She tried to put us in front. We did not want to sit there. So we picked our own seats which were the high top tables. The hostess asked us to move with no reason which put a damper on the evening. Everybody else walked in and sat where they wanted. Did not like her at all.

Zach Oleksinski: I went there for lunch and was immediately greeted with amazing customer service. Wasn't expensive and was very good. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Definitely suggest, awesome place and people.Vegetarian options: They made sure to have vegetarian options for everyone.
Zach: Walked by and saw a sign for comedy that night. Decided to go in and ended up staying about 3 hours. Great little place for comedy. Local craft beer options as well.

Ken Y.myself: I loved my first improv class. The instructor was amazing at creating a positive experience. I learned how to express myself while listening to others do the same. I now know improv is not about being funny, to me it was about being spontaneous. I highly recommend SoCap improv to others, I left with my endorphins flowing and felt euphoric! Signing up was easy, the price was low, location is amazing, and I made new friends. It was a series of games above a pub, there was a comedy show offered afterwards and most of the group hung out on the Danforth. I returned the next week and am inspired to jump into this new hobby. I look forward to the many different classes they offer and am just one of many people who highly recommend this experience. Thank you to Asha who was an amazing instructor, sry I probably misspelled your name, but its okay if im not right, lets just go with it!
