Christine Murad: Never thought I’d find such an adorable little cafe in a hospital building! The owner, Doris, is a gem, talking to her just makes you smile. The food is all fresh and made to order - I had a cappacino and an omelette and they were delicious, and she will make the omelette with custom ingredients based on what the customer wants! A cozy vibe with big windows to let the sun in. And almost half the price of places like Cora’s. I would happily come again even without a hospital appointment!

My favorites are the barbeque chicken, jerk chicken and french toast but every food she makes is really good. Aside from that, Doris is very kind hearted. I guess when you put passion to what you are doing everything is just perfect. Everybody should try her food and I must say you will come back for more. Thank you Doris for all the yummy food you make. You are the best! ❤️

Instead of a patio, 2 full walls open up to create the tropical vibe of being in a restaurant and taking in the outside air at the same time.Seating is limited. And I think switching out one more table with chairs for another couch or lounge chair set up would be a great idea. Whether you're a student, or working from home, this spot makes for a great working space. And if you're looking for a cute spot to grab a coffee as part of your "dawn date", come here to score points.Vegetarian options: It's one thing to have vegetarian options on the menu, but it's another to be served delicious vegetarian food! Many restaurants plan a dish and then dumb it down to create a vegetarian option. At Buka, I had a shockingly flavourful surprise when I bit into the bagel with hummus and zatar. The combination of toppings was perfect and turned an ordinary bagel into a Mediterranean experience.
