The unit has been working fine since then. The fourth surprise came when I had to call their office. I live in south Mississauga and had an air conditioner installed by a friend 2 years ago, probably not the best idea as it broke in the middle of the summer and he didn’t know why. I called the Applewood sales department thinking I needed a brand new unit. The salesman I spoke with recommended that I have a service call before I install a new unit as the unit was fairly new and could last another 20 years or so. He even told me that if it couldn’t be fixed he would take it off the price of a new unit. He then gave me the prices upfront and scheduled a service tech to come to my home. It turned out that there was some minor wiring issues that were causing the breaker to pop and a few leaks in my piping. The tech corrected the issues on the spot and saved me from purchasing a new unit after only 2 years. Thank you Applewood!
