Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC Charitable Foundation): what do users think?

Ashrita D'mello: This is a very important aspect of early childhood and I'm very glad that YMHC is focusing its efforts to reduce mental health issues as well as suicide prevention efforts.

Graeme O'Farrell: YMHC is a wonderfully helpful and resourceful coalition of volunteers. I wish I had access to their supports and community when I was younger.

Luisa Alarcón: Facebook suggested the YMHC page to me a few months ago, I have followed it since, and I look forward to their posts and graphics. I will often share content with other groups and directly with people who may relate to specific information. My kids don’t have social media profiles, so I take screenshots, and I share educational and motivational content with them. The staff and volunteers do a great job with their outreach! Please know that your dedication and commitment don't go unnoticed. Your contribution is very much needed and appreciated.

Karen Prieur Bentley: The YMHC has a dedicated team of staff & volunteers who promote both learning and positive community-minded action. I tend to follow the organization's FB page and always find their posts informative, respectful & relevant.

Sumin Lee: I’m proud to be a volunteer with YMHC. YMHC provides so many supportive resources for youth and everyone I have worked with works tirelessly for an important cause.

Shaunnah Stone: I support this organization as its value and the contributions it makes to our society is of great importance. I especially love seeing their posts on Facebook. The articles they provide, the daily words and graphics of support to so many are in invaluable. As a student in post secondary education, their resources are incredibly supportive and complimentary to what I am studying in the field of social care.

Tracey Bazso: YMHC does such amazing things for youth, families and those who support youth! So many resources, free and paid! So blessed to have found YMHC and even more blessed to have volunteered with them! Love Lol the people I did work with.

Andrada Viorica Cretanu: You are just, simply, perfect! ❤️ I found your page on Facebook and I read all your posts, thaaank you for all you do for our mental health 🙏 ❤️

Rutter Falls: YMHC do fantastic work...! Please support them.

Cindy: Great organization!

Liberty For Youth: what do users think?

Dustin Burlet: can, at times, be incongruent with some of the experiences of the staff membersAs a whole, the hiring policies of Liberty tend to recruit people who will go out of their way for both the organization and for the youth, sometimes going far above and beyond the call of dutyThat said, some the individuals working with the youth do not always have the official credentials that might often be thought necessary or required to be in certain positions of authorityIn much the same way, one finds that the council, i.e., wisdom or advice, often given to mentorees by the mentees may not always match up with what would be recommended, as best practices, within certain officially recognized mental health institutionsAs a youth, therefore, one may need to be careful as confidentiality is not always upheld to the highest standardsSimilarly, some staff may cross personal boundaries at timesThat said, bearing these caveats in mind, if you are in need, there is a good chance for financial, social and emotional support here

Travis cooper: Really good people with big hearts. Love you Frederick & Tanya and family ! I wonder how big your boys are now !!

Milad Assaf: Amazing people and organization that I have known for 18 years

heidi macho: I have met some of the young adults that they have helped and they are caring...friendly and helpful...so are the staff there.I would recommend someone to research their organization. It's quite impressive.

hg b: The best at helping troubled youthMentoring encouraging and many receiveScholarships helping them complete their education and find good jobsSeveral have even started their own business'sHow fantastic is that

ron sanchez: Outstanding leadership, compassion and love transforming the lives of our youths to a brighter future!

Casey Watson: This organization does amazing work for youth at risk! Thank you for your efforts in making Hamilton a better place for our youth!

Mina A.: All this and more - thank you so much ❤️

Cameron Doyle: Great place to hang out, very helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Michael Lardie: I have been a client, and held many differing roles in the 20+ years I have been around. Currently I am in partnership between my organization, and theirs, hosting an annual event called "72 Hours for Life"

Kaillob Hunter (Radiokman): Awsome place really good food they have a foodbank and clothing store plus they have a lot of awesome programs

David Hachey: Amazing place to get help and very nice Staff

Stephanie Stumpf: Great place gave me a job, helped me graduate, helped me get certificates, and gave help in personal issues

Kyle B: Great place that is helping the youth in the city of Hamilton. Living Rock aims to serve youth 13 to 25 years old with Meeting needs of food by meal programs and food bank. Living Rock also helps with connecting youth with services they may need within the community. Rock also provides job search help and job readiness skills to. The Rock has been serving the city of Hamilton for 34 years and will be 35 in November. The staff really do there best to care for youth that come for help. The Rock also provide clothing for those who need them. Rock does there best to meet youth needs.

Isabelle Shields: Great place in Hamilton involved with youth to guide & support every way possible to be proud & be independent in their future!

Shadan Simmons: Moved to hamilton 4 years ago not knowing anyone or having any connections i went threw the tri rock program back in 2014/2015 and it was awesome i got a job i enjoyed and would work for 3 plus years up until moving onto better opportunities but since then I've stopped im occasionally to print off resumes utilize the food bank and clothing bank in efforts to save money and out it toward my own business all of these things are very positive but here comes the negative when i was there the staff were awesome some still remain but alot have moved on and these people im speaking of made the place alot more effective in my opinion now the staff is a little more pushy with certain things some rude excluding a few of course I've personally never dealt with it but over time i watched the environment definitely change and become more stand off ish or negative in ways and i can't say i would have even took a second look at this place back then if it was in the state it is now and thats sad because in the past it opened doors I wouldn't have been able to do alone some of the staff i remember helping me the most are amazing people brian kevin shane bob and only one i beileve still remains kevin soo atleast youth can count on him!

Gal From Hamilton: Great charity. Very welcoming to all youth in need. Free meals, food bank and training to prepare youth for employment. Staff and volunteers are genuinely caring.

marcus lanigan: yeet. Yes. Yeet.

Geoffrey Anderson: Ok, I was just at Living Rock or whatever it's called. Its a place for youth. It provides information, food, and clothing as well. Its been five years since I went there. Well, theres a woman there, whom was very obnoxious so I immediately put tissue paper in my ears to block her out. They were going around the circle and asking people to share about themselves. When my turn came up, I said no thank you I am just here to eat. Then she started talking about people using drugs and having dirty finger nails etc. Which is disgusting, I live that life at the moment, and I come to these places when I am hungry and want to escape. Before they didnt talk about it or put you on the spot, but they changed and i stormed out so now I am probably banned from there because that was rude...Other than that, I highly recommend going there for food and helpful information.Apologies to staff and the people whom eat there...

Stephen McCall: I believe that Living Rock Ministries provide real hope to inner city youth that are at risk and could benefit from the direction and guidance that your services provide. I would not be too concerned about individuals such as Robert Chinnery who have trolled or spammed over 70 local businesses with one star reviews due to his mental state of mind and lack of judgement. Keep up the good work.
