Joe G: I have a 16-year-old wood fence with 6x6 posts that is in very good condition considering its age. This season I discovered that one of the 6x6 posts had rotted completely through at the base.Replacing this post was going to be tricky because there is a chain link fence up against my wood fence along with a raised garden bed. So, this was a project that would require some finesse and working on my side of the fence only.I also had a tight timeline to get it repaired. The fence was still standing but I was concerned that with these storms we’ve been having lately. If the fence fell over it would crush the adjacent chain link fence and garden bed, increasing my costs for additional repairs.I initially thought to contact the original company that installed the fence but decided against them after noting on their website that they charged a minimum $1500 charge for fence post repairs.I subsequently contacted four of their competitors based on Google reviews; JMA Fence & Repair being one of them.All the companies responded in a timely fashion. Three companies gave me projected dates to get it done that varied from late June, mid July, and August. JMA Fence & Repair’s owner, Jason, advised that he would try to get the post the same week I called but was having a hard time staying on schedule with all the rain we were getting this June.Despite this June being one of the rainiest I can remember; Jason’s team were able to get my post repaired in a timely fashion. It was a tricky job and Jason’s guys completed it to my satisfaction. JMA’s price fell in the middle of the four quotes we received and was well worth it to avoid a potentially more costly job should my fence have toppled.Thanks guys.

He was quick to respond, clear and concise communication over the phone. We agreed on a standard price. Jason and his crew showed up on time, his crew did the job pretty quick as well, 5 post in less than 3 hours and they looked solid at the end. Jason recommended that I replace the rest of my posts that were falling or loose and he gave me discounted price for those. Christopher Bye: We contacted Adrian after viewing one of his project videos on the internet. We had previously contacted some other outdoor project companies, but they tended to be quite limited in their scope. That is, one would do decks, but not stonework. Another would do landscaping, but not decks or stonework. Paradise Decks was the first company we talked to that was able to design an entire, cohesive backyard space - deck, patio stonework, outdoor kitchen construction, electrical, landscaping / gardening - you name it. And the key aspect for us was Design. Our project was Adrian's vision, and we could not be happier with every aspect of it. Everything from the layout of the deck, counters, stonework, patio, gardens - right down to the lighting - is essentially the first design that Adrian proposed to us. Adrian was always available to discuss aspects of the project as it proceeded - communication was excellent and on par with other superior contractors we have dealt with for other projects.As stated above - we could not be happier with the final outcome. We feel like we've gained an entire new living space, and with the provision of heaters in the project, we get a surprising amount of use in the shoulder seasons. Now that the summer has come, we have dropped the retractable screens and have refuge from the bugs! We love spending time and entertaining in the space at all hours! I suppose the best conclusion to this review is that we would 100% engage Adrian and Paradise Decks again.

Diane Williams: My neighbour installed an elaborate deck last summer and had nothing but good things to say about the company they used, Paradise Decks. So when I spotted one of their crew members on our street one day, I approached him to inquire about getting a quote to replace our old, falling apart, too-small deck. The young man was so polite, and helpful, I was immediately impressed. He clearly liked working for this company.I was put in touch with the owner, Adrian, who was super responsive and efficient in getting us a design. He gave us several options for many of the elements which put us in control of the amount we wanted to spend. It was a two story design and we chose to waterproof it so we could create a seating area underneath. We finished the ceiling in cedar which was a little pricey but so worth it…it’s beautiful! The railing is glass and looks great. Unfortunately one of the pieces of glass was delivered with a small chip in it but Adrian’s team ordered a new one and it has now been replaced. Every project has it’s little issues, but the key is how the team deals with them, and in our experience Paradise Decks is top notch.The install team, led by Patrick, was excellent. It was a pleasure to have them on our property.I would highly recommend Paradise Decks to anyone who wants an excellent quality project done with no headaches! Carlo: and the grading was very extreme, but it offered us a great walk out basement. The challenge started with the steps that would be required from the side of the home, because of the steep grading. My wife and I also wanted everything completed by the end of August for a significant family event. Finally, we required a permit because of the design of the deck which was so unique.The day finally came to start the work and we met Mark and his team, who were going to build the stone steps along the house, the stone deck on the ground level and the landscaping. He and his team were incredible, they cleaned up after themselves everyday, the work was impeccable and stunning.We now move on to the construction of the composite deck with it's beautiful stairs, glass railings and the under roof deck ceiling that keeps the area dry. Again, the team was professional, the work detailed to the most finite points, and they were clean. When the work was finished we couldn't have been happier they not only met our expectations, but exceeded them.The day of the wedding
Patti IDENOUYE: Adrian and his team installed my deck and pergola 3 years ago, doing an absolutely great job! I recently experienced some problems with the LED lights on the pergola and called Adrian for his advice. I had an outdoor event happening so this was an " out if the blue", totally unscheduled request. He sent Pat out to have a look and after the required parts were delivered, the problem was resolved for the event. This level of commitment to ongoing client satisfaction is yet another reason why I will continue recommend Adrian and his team. Thank you!

Simon Irving: Adrian was most helpful and creative. The replacement deck had to accommodate a new hot tub, which was very successfully done. At the suggestion of one of his skilled crew, a new pergola was erected in a separate location. A replacement lower deck was constructed with proper foundations, plus a handrail beside the steps down to that level.All the work was completed to a high standard, in a timely fashion and with pleasant relations with the crew - all good guys! While Paradise may not have been the lowest price, they certainly showed why in the knowledge, respect and ability to work with us on selecting options and design tweaks to fit our budget and expectations. Verbally, I have recommended PD to several of our close friends and neighbours, now I extend publically that Paradise decks delivers quality and precise worksmanship! The constructors on site were quick, very clean and friendly. It was a pleasure to have them complete our paradise at home in which we intend to use heavily during COVID times. A. Davies: We had several quotes done and Ace was the most competitive by far. Their service and quality was outstanding. Everyone is impressed with the construction, and look of our new fence. Ace's employees really focus on customer satisfaction. We have one side of our yard to finish in the fall and will be having them back to complete. We highly recommend them!
