Carolina Vaq: The store is well lighted and is clean. The isles are clear of obstructions. As you enter at this time you will be greeted by their cool Halloween decorations.I couldn't find a worker to ask about crochet clip on eyes until I got to the check out line. The cashier was helpful and knowledgeable in what I was asking for.So, I do hope they will get small black snap on crochet eyes. Also, I was happy to see that this Michael's had cashier workers rather than self check out, it was a nice personal touch.As I was leaving, an older lady lost her earring, once the cashier finished my order, she went straight to the older lady to help her out. I thought that was very nice.Currently, the outside of the store is under renovations, however, you can still finding parking and the entrance is still wheelchair accessible.A good selection of yarn, and there are a couple new options.Their fall collection is pretty neat.

After a terrible kids workshop experience at another location we came here asking if they’d be able to accommodate us for the day instead, and thankfully that had an extra kit we were able to take home AND a spare kit from a previous workshop as an kind gesture. They were amazingly kind, horrified to hear about the issues we experienced at the other store and asked us to return here for the future so they could continue to take care of us.Separately to todays ordeal the store has always been clean, well organized and professional, and I could never imagine an issue happening like we had at that other location.

Greg Lenko: My experience was a little different. Despite how close it is to my home I would rarely go to Home Hardware until a friend and contractor brought me there. Although I still mostly went to the other "box" stores I would from time to time stop by Home Hardware for smaller items and familiarized myself with it. Recently I had a couple of plumbing issues and went to one of the other box stores where a customer service woman finished helping a man and then helped me. Unfortunately her help included a long tale complaining about how much the male customer she just helped didn't know about plumbing and how much her husband did. Why would she talk about a customer that way? And why do I care about her husband? Needless to say yesterday when I had a plumbing issue I went to Home Hardware instead. Although the cartridge I needed was out of stock the man that was helping me pointed me to another Home Hardware store so off I went. As I was walking through the parking lot he came outside and told me to come back in because he thought he could remedy my problem and after a short time looking for parts he did. It was such a huge relief for me and although this review doesn't sound that impressive, this man whose name I later learned was Lennox was a massive help to me. I didn't have to drive across town searching because HE continued thinking about a way to solve MY problem. When most customer service staff at the other box stores wouldn't even think twice about letting me leave Lennox thought about and solved my problem and saved me a lot of time from running around and fixed the cartridge I brought in. Thanks a ton Lennox. You were a huge help. I'll obviously be back.
