They were easy to contact and hear back from, followed up right away, very organized in the care that they have delivered. I felt so safe here, very clean environment.They encouraged, guided and listened to me every step of the way.They also prayed with me, which meant the world to me - I am grateful.I was never asked to pay anything, instead I was offered free clothing from their boutique.I have recommended Atwell Centre to a number of expectant moms. Deborah Lynn: Pregnancy can be a scary journey to go through. You’ll experience emotions in life that you never expected. When I found out I was pregnant the father had left. And I have never felt so alone and afraid. I felt lost with my journey with God. And decided to come to atwell because I felt alone and lost. The nurse Jo, was an angel sent to my life, and my now sons life. I called the clinic in a full blown panic attack and Jo was there for. She was there for me in clinic, and she was able to meet my son. I don’t know what I would’ve done without nurse Jo. She truly was an angel that was sent to my life and I’m forever grateful for her.If you’re in a crisis and feel all these strong emotions don’t hesitate to contact at well. I promise you’ll feel better after their services of support and if you feel lost with your decisions on what to do, they don’t judge.

Bridgetta Winchester: I normally do not trust crisis pregnancy centres as they often lie and mislead women about the realities of abortion - which is legal, free and something about a third of women will experience, 60% of whom are already mothers to at-least one child. There should be no shame or judgment on what a women decides to do with her body. I cannot speak to Atwells handling of a crisis pregnancy or pregnancy counselling as I reached out to them about a pregnancy that had already been terminated.I will say however that I had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was skeptical but ultimately participated in their PAS program and remain very grateful for the amount of respect I was shown throughout the program. I truly felt heard and understood, I was able to talk about the difficult emotions surronding my own abortion without having to waver on being adamantly pro/choice and also NOT in any way spiritual or religious. I am grateful for the experience, and grateful to both Christina D and Atwell for their help and understanding.If you’re reading this because you’re considering the program too, please know that not only are you not alone but that you WILL get through this and that I’m proud of you for looking for help.

Noah: The atwell center is beautiful, it has a calming atmosphere. Everyone who works here is friendly and kind, always asking if you need a water or anything to drink. They are accommodating and understanding to your needs. They are very knowledgeable with what they’re doing. I loved my experience that i have had there when i had my two ultrasounds.

Kristen Platt: We had such an amazing experience at CMOH with our 3 midwives. Our primary midwife was Erin, but the other two midwives we saw during our time with CMOH, Elizabeth and Marie Pierre, were so supportive and we connected so well with. We felt that all of our questions and concerns throughout the pregnancy were answered and discussed with us with great care, when I was nervous about any aspect of pregnancy or parenting one of the midwives was quick to chat with me to ensure I was feeling comfortable and supported — one time Elizabeth even made a home visit so we could listen to baby’s heartbeat and calm some of my worries. When it came to the day I gave birth, we were BEYOND grateful for our team especially since everything was going a lot faster at home than expected and Erin was quick to meet us at McMaster Hospital and did an amazing job supporting us during and after the birth of our daughter. For the 6 weeks postpartum, I felt so calm and cared for because I could call Erin at any time to check in and the daily/weekly visits made being a first time mother so much better. As someone who chose to and was able to breastfeed, I felt so supported by Erin to ensure I felt comfortable and knowledgeable about how to make sure everything was going smoothly with feeding and she was quick to provide advice for things like comfortable positioning. It was so hard to stop having the care after the 6 weeks but we were SO grateful for the time we did get. We can’t say enough amazing things about midwives and about our experience at CMOH with the midwives we were lucky enough to work with! We honestly can’t believe this is a service that we didn’t need to pay for and we feel more people should have the opportunity to work with midwives.

She is extremely experienced, extremely compassionate, and will do everything to make sure your pregnancy and delivery go as smoothly as comfortably and special, we can’t write enough praises here but all we can say is this place cared for all our needs and wants and did everything to make us comfortable and they are extremely lucky to have a midwife like Erin on their team. During my birth at McMaster they made me feel comfortable and did everything I wanted without myself it my partner needing to ask. Emily was at my birth with student midwife Sydney. They are a dream. I honestly cannot day enough good things. They did home visits and caught my sons jaundice early so that it did not get out of control. As a first time mom I really appreciate how my team made me feel safe and understood. They helped me with what was the best experience of my life. I cannot thank them enough.

S. S: . She did exam me and noticed that my pain is related to something that did not make sense to me but when she explained I understood. She referred me and she called the specialist's office personally in front of me to make sure that they received the fax and emphasized that I needed to be seen ASAP.My daughter had eating problem and doesn't like to see doctors but the way that this nurse practitioner communicate with her she likes to see her and listenes whatever she tells her. She is gaining weight gradually and eating better than before. I think we should be fair when we judge and it is important that how we behave and to know the lomit of our expectations.

Odd Mama: Dr. Costescu is a hero in our family! Sometimes you get the chance to meet a rare, beautiful, kind, smart, funny and aware soul. My 13 year old daughter needed help. She needed a surgery that we were having so much trouble finding someone to preform for her. She was scared and in pain and he helped her. He looked her in her eyes and he listened. He assured her and he talked to her like she mattered so much to him. And then he performed her surgery and healed her! We are so grateful!Thank you Dr. Costescu
