Our sweet/sour chicken had a slight soggy taste on the outside & unfortunately, I wasn't given the sweet/sour sauce to go with it. I had been meaning to try this place out and I'm so glad I did. This had to be the best tasting Chinese food I've had in a long time. The price for the amount of food is amazing and the service is quick and so friendly. The man at the counter was so helpful as I wanted to make a change to one of their set combos more fitted to what I wanted. This will be my new go to Chinese food place.

Maybe once or twice the food has been sitting out for a while and does not taste that great, but for the most part, it's fine and tastes like what you would expect for what you're paying. I usually get the +1 item combo, and it's good value for money. Very good service as well, as the staff is professional and attentive. A recommended stop if you're looking for something quick to eat.

Marissa Kirou: Any time we're craving Chinese food. Amy's is our go to place. The Seafood Chow Mein is delicious. My 6 year old got it months ago and it's now my favourite dish. The chicken balls are PACKED with actual chicken vs other places it mostly breading. Spring rolls are also a must. I can see why it's such a popular place! Delivery was fast!

Melissa Kelly: Called at 230pm for a 4pm pick upOrdered Cheese Wontons, Beef and Broccoli, Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimps, Short Ribs, Pork Dumplings and an Egg RollGrowing up on the mountain in the 80s, my family would traditionally eat at the great buffet that was China Kiki at Mountain Plaza Mall or travel to Burlington to eat at the greater buffet that was Foo Ho. When looking for Chinese food here in the city, the food had to live up to those standards in my memory. Eng’s does not disappoint. It is fast, hot, and very tasty. The egg roll was eaten so fast we missed it in the picture! The breading in the shrimps was unlike any other deep fried shrimps goodness I’ve had, and even lasted to the next day for lunch. The beef in both beef dishes was flavourful and well cooked. The vegetables were crunchy and sauced well. The Lo Mein noodles were great both on their own with sweet and sour sauce and with the beef and veg, too. And the orange chicken? Full of saucy goodness. The Short Ribs were the perfect kind of sticky if that makes any sense. Oh - and cheese wontons - they are just cheese, no crab - they are just a delight, both before and after the meal. There was plenty of food for two people - we ordered it for 4pm so that we could snack on it all night, and had enough for lunch the next day. They also tossed in about 8 fortune cookies which is always a bonus.We have lived on the east mountain for 5 years now, and just tried Eng’s for the first time. It is dangerously good knowing it is so very close.

The lady I spoke with on the phone was very lovely, and took my order with no problems, she told me there would be a 2 hour wait understandably on New Years Eve, and trust me any other place was not delivering at all, and these guys stepped up and delivered!! The delivery girl was lovely, hopefully she made it through the New Years Night! I decided to go and try it out… Very delicious, service was fantastic and very polite, and above all the portion sizes are great. I was living in Cambridge, and it wouldn’t be unusual to see people we knew from Kitchener driving all the way there for the good food.Fast forward to last weekend. Brought the love of my life there for lunch. She is from Philippines, but has lived in Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong. She likes Iron Chef and says it is the authentic style from Hong Kong. If she says it’s good, then it’s good!!!!

Neill C: South China Chinese Food is a fantastic take out restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but their pork chop and onion on rice and egg fu yung on rice are two of my absolute favorites.
Yao Jia (Jessica) Zhang: I use to be a regular here when i was a student years ago, now i try to grab a meal whenever i pass by the area, their food is so good, authentic and homey and the lovely lady still recognizes me. I recommend the eggplant with minced pork on rice and the fujian fried rice. Havent found another place that makes those dishes better! You can also ask to customize the spicyness and not to put any msg as well.

Lillian Maharaj: I have been craving Chinese food for a couple days now. I didn’t want the same old tasteless disappointing places, so I researched a ton of restaurants and ended up choosing Great Wall through Uber. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. I am so glad I chose this restaurant as it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and plentiful. The rice had flavour, the Cantonese chow mein was on point and the deep fried chicken wings were all delicious. Luckily I had my own lemons as the wings didn’t come with a lemon wedge. Thanks Great Wall for a fantastic meal!

Between the 3 of us, we ordered chicken fried rice, General chow chicken, chicken balls, and dry cooked beans. The food was good and tasted more authentic than the Chinese food I have gotten from restaurants in the surrounding area. There was more than enough for all of us, and with the bill split between us, it was pretty cheap aswell. Would recommend.
Avinash Singh: This is nestled in Westdale Village in the west end of Hamilton. Its a lovely location to dine, its not been as busy as it used to pre-pandemic but just means i get served delicious meals faster. The food is great tasting and portions are good value. The ataff are very accommodating and you can order ahead. If they tell you 15 to 20mins they mean it unless you get a busy evening which is when its busiest especially Friday and Saturday as the outdoor scene in Westdale offers lots to do.

Austin Vanier: Hand made spicy noodles with beef. Had some bokchoy in it as well.This was AMAZING.I could not get enough and it was very affordableAlso the service was incredible!
Isabel: I really enjoyed this place. I've been here a couple times and I try to get something different with every visit. I recommend getting the Dan Dan noodles for sure. I think coming here with multiple people would be best so you can try a couple dishes, community style.
