Sookham Restaurant: what do users think?

Shravil Gajjar: Finally found a rasturant who has actual indian gujrati taste best ever I found anywhere in canada. I can highly recommend this rasturant to everyone.

Ruchit Thakkar: Atmosphere: 5/5

Raveena Rani: Sookham basically means happiness and peace. This is a beautiful space. It's basically an Indian food outlet. U must visit here.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options, especially Indian.

Hard Patel: Worth it food!

Mitali: Amazing place with vegan Indian food! We tried Samosa Chaat, tacos, naan pizza and veggie pulao - everything tastes good. But we loved tacos the MOST. Also tried avocado cinnamon drink for the first time and it was surprisingly good. We wanted to try ayurvedic cacao but it was sold out at that time. Apparently it's in demand. The ambience is perfect and the owners are lovely. We enjoyed our time here!

Planted in Hamilton: what do users think?

Sena bozkır: We got the orange tofu bowl and thai spicy peanut bowl. As a drink we got cherry lemonade. Both bowls were super delicious. Thai spicy peanut sauce was missing something, a little bit salt and sourness from lemon might have made the meal way better in my opinion. But im glad we have a really nice vegan restaurant in the city! Definitely will be back. Service was very slow. We came here on a tuesday. Although it wasnt crowded we waited for our meal a long time as well as for our bill at the end to the point my partner got to the front to pay since no one was coming. Service should be improved. Other than that no complaintsEDIT:I ordered through doordash, the thai bowl meal. There was a hair strain in my meal and inknow it not mine because it is yellow and brown hair strain which i dont have. Please do something about this.

Hilary Clarke: My work colleagues and I were volunteering at a farm sanctuary where only vegan food was allowed. I contacted Planted through the website via email and the owner, Emily, was quick to respond. She was super flexible and accommodated my group without complaint, even though we kept changing things. She had all our lunches packed up and labeled with our names by 8:45am even though they don’t open until after 11:00am. The food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be eating there again!

Kira Jewell: Unbeatable spot for folks with dietary restrictions

Inas Saberi: The BEST vegan food ever. I had the dish of the day which was a fried orange tofu on rice and grilled veggies, it was epic. My daughter got the planted mac, she loved every bit of it. So flaverful. The fun part was the drinks, we got the Italian soda, one with coconut, the other chocolate, both so good. Staff were so nice. Highly recommend.

Nick B: Absolutely delicious food which happens to also be fully vegan, gluten free and kosher. We shared the Mediterranean bowl and a schnitzel, which was the special that day. Both were absolutely incredible. To finish we tried an Apple fritter, one of the many fresh bakery items they had available. It was a bit on the heavier side for a fritter/donut but it was tasty and paired very well with coffee. Planted in Hamilton is a must try for all vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike.

Krista Rapedius: Planted is amazing. I have Celiac and eating out is never really safe and I often get ill after. At Planted I knew everything was 100% certified Gluten free. Not only that but they have offerings that I hadn't eaten since my diagnosis 10 years ago. The Belgium Waffle literally has me in tears. It tasted exactly as I remembered from so long ago. Better really! I can not thank the owners, chef's and staff for providing the most delicious vegan, gluten free dishes I have ever tasted. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank guys!

D. Bernevek: I keep coming back because the quality of food, taste, freshness and price. These people are great. If you care about your own health, about good food, about the Earth you should try this place. Too many good small restaurants go out of business because majority of us eat at the big chain factory fast-food places. These fast-food places make you sick, fat and dumb. Be smart eat healthy in the small restaurants, support local and invest into your health and your kids health.

Dea Hanlon: Loved eating here! I got the falafel plate and was very impressed. I will be back!Vegetarian options: Completely vegan

Maria Kechichian: . Thanks again for a clean vegan meal 🤗😋

Marion Walker: Very good with children.Very good food, great for vegetarians.

Green Bar - James St: what do users think?

Trust Love: Big shout out to the Green Bar for the epic nutritious and delicious plant based food. This isn’t junk food veganism, and bless that! We were sublimely delighted to stop in twice and were met with wonderful smiles ‘n service. The food was heavenly, and the juices pure bliss! Thank you for all the soulful LOVE, it truly is the most important ingredient!

Mellissa March: Wow! What a treat! We stopped in for lunch and were all incredibly impressed. We first tried the Chik'n Waffles, and wow! The flavours were there, the textures were there, it was so flavourful and delicious. I'm not usually one for vegan meats, but this one was so good, I'd for sure order it again. Next was the Cauliflower Wings, and they were so delicious, the breading was so light and crispy, they were definitely a table favorite! Our other dish was the Grilled 'Cheez' this was the only one that didn't hit quite as hard with us. The cashew cheez wasn't too flavourful and the smoky flavours, and caramelized onions just weren't really there. It was definitely still good, but it didn't hit the mark quite as well as the other dishes. The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean the staff was super kind and pleasant as well! We will definitely be back. The only downfall this place had was that its an older building and either doesn't have or doesn't use a/c, so the air was sticky and humid while sitting down. It wasn't overwhelming, but it also wasnt an overly hot day, so take that into account if you are planning to sit down for your meal. We will most definitely be back to try more of 5he menu!Vegetarian options: Ahaha. Obviously there are vegetarian options here. Many of them.Kid-friendliness: We didn't have a child with us, but the staff seemed like they'd be wonderful to every type of family.Wheelchair accessibility: Store is ground level.

Pearly Tailor: We simply went for smoothies and it was a great experience. We got two smoothies. Stop, drop, and detox and Espresso Yourself. Both good but we preferred espresso yourself more. Service was good as well. Would recommend to check it out, didn’t try anything in the menu so we’ll save that for next time!Recommended dishes Vegan …

Mz Spice: This was my 1st time there!Customer service good !Food was great!!!atmosphere was great .....EXCEPT!!The obnoxious smoothie machine that thing is sooooo loud you have to stop talking because it sounds like a train is coming through the building 😕😳.Not pleasant at all🤦🏾I'll be going back@🧡💛🧡

Lauren: but did not love the falafel 🥙 I will definitely come here again for a quick and healthy meal, and would recommend it to others for the same!

Jessica Ly: I Love green bar! The cauliflower wings are to die for ! The best I've ever had.

Britt Marie: Brought our family here for lunch. They enjoyed everything we ordered which included the broccoli Mac, buffalo chik-n- wrap, home fries, seitan bites, the burg’r bowl, and the cauliflower wings. My favourite was the burg’r bowl by far. Had so many options but satisfied with what we ordered. Will be back.Vegetarian options: I was surprised at how good everything was especially the burg’r bowl, I really enjoyed it.Kid-friendliness: Had 4 reckless children with us. They enjoyed all their options and the staff was super friendly and didn’t mind the commotion. Staff wasn’t even upset having to clean a big smoothie mess. Will definitely come back again

Luis Cárdenas: Green Bar is one of my favorite places to eat in Hamilton. I love their food and I'm not even vegan. I've tried a quite a few items of their menu but my go-tos are the breakfast wrap, the electric banana smoothie, and the avocado toast. The prices are fair based on the quality of the ingredients. They do take a while to make your food so be prepared for that. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and will come back for sure.

Fresh Restaurants: what do users think?

Ahmed: Cery delicious vegan option in Hamilton. Staff was kind and attentive, adding small details to the experience. I got the bundle for 1, a good option for lunch. I got quinoa onion rings, cobb salad, and Smores cookies, then added the crispy dumping. Quinoa onions was cooked well and came with a tasty sauce. Cobb salad was presented well, with fresh veggies and delicious sauce. Crispy dumplings were excellent, stuffed well with flavor. Serving size was excellent. Overall an excellent lunch.

Jennie Boone: Love that there is a Fresh in Hamilton now! My juice and rice bowl were great, very fresh and flavourful. The delivery was fast and reliable. The only thing that lacked was the miso gravy. It's not the same viscosity it has been in the past, it was very watery and didn't stick to the fries at all. Has it changed or was that just a bad batch?

usagi chan: honestly been wanting to try this place for a long time but all the negative reviews made me hesitant. this place is FIRE. soooo good omg 🤤

Angelina: but I was a bit skeptical about trying this take out only location based off all the negative reviews. howeverrrr my experience was so amazing & therefore I need to document everything so other people will be willing to give it a try too.okay so I got the protein bowl & ordered it about 10 minutes before I came to pick it up which was *perfect* timing. the bowl was warm/wasn’t sitting too long and the overall taste was incredible. I’d recommend ordering like 10-20 minutes before you arrive so that the food isn’t sitting too long/getting cold. it’s a quick service location so stuff gets done fast!!!

Heather Walton: Despite what Google says, the Hamilton location does NOT offer dine in. The food is still great though!

Meredith Youngson: Ordered once a week since they’ve been open in Hamilton and everything has been fresh and well made. Long-time fan of the Toronto location too ❤️👌🏼

Melita Varga: , however, I'm happy to say my BBQ burger

A Rain: After a long morning of traveling and 8 more hours to go, I stopped at the farmers market to grab some fruit for the road. I was even happier when they had a cream of broccoli that was out of this world. I will definitely be stopping here next time I pass through Hamilton. Definitely check it out.

Canadier: Apothecary Kitchen - A Delightful Culinary ExperienceNestled within the vibrant Farmers Market, Apothecary Kitchen is a small food place that offers an exceptional dining experience. The focus on freshness was truly commendable, and it made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. When it comes to portion sizes, Apothecary Kitchen certainly does not disappoint. Amanda Ruiz: Whole plant based foods! Rise Above Pizza & Wings: what do users think?

Xiaohong Ma VEGAN: , and the best pizza

Mackenzie Sim: My boyfriend went to Hamilton today to visit an old friend and he decided to pick up this pizza and wings for us. We are vegan foodies & Hamilton is his hometown so we always wanted to try this food since we learned about it! And it did not disappoint!!! Simply the BEST vegan wings I’ve ever had and top notch pizza.Food: 5/5 …

Christopher Palik: Just discovered this place on the weekend. Great 80’s nostalgic atmosphere including working pinball machines. The food was excellent, portions were bigger than expected and pizza was really, really good. Great craft beer selection and lots of seating and space to move around. Highly recommend this spot to party, bring a first date or grab food to go.

Joshua Wiener: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Seitan Wings

staticmouse438 kent: Got a slice from them once. Not bad. Not Toronto quality but not bad. Also ordered a large pizza, wings and garlic bread for a get together recently to be delivered to my house. Pizza was excellent but sadly arrived lukewarm. Also never seen a pizza with so few green peppers. Another 30 cents in green peppers would have made all the difference. Garlic bread was also pretty good, but again lukewarm. Honey garlic wings were inedible. Horribly sweet. They tasted like dessert. Also their texture was a bit off. Again lacking Toronto quality.

Zee W: Cheap vegan pizza and wings. Those wings especially, and they're my frontrunner for vegan wings in Hamilton. The atmosphere is phenomenal! You can't tell whether you've been pulled into the 70s, 80s, or 90s!

Nick B: Best vegan wings hands down. The honey garlic wings and lemon garlic aioli are a must try together.

Robert May: So Good! The wings were one of the best things I’ve had ever. The pizza was absolutely delicious!Dietary restrictions: Amazing Vegan Spot!

Chelsee Ray Campagna: The atmosphere was incredible. Very clean. Punk rock, all inclusive! They had some amazing eats! Home style comfort food with a twist🍲🥞🌯 Kid-friendliness: Games to play

TheKodester: Overall great experience with amazing food. I’ve had poutine, dessert/snack, and a variety of drinks while visiting. My only complaint was depending on time of day it can be a bit slow ordering some items. Such as my poutine took over 30 minutes.Lastly service for the most part has been friendly but been a few times front staff seemed uninterested in helping or that I annoyed them. Might be vibe they are going for in combo with the grunge bar look, but unsure.

Nick B: Picked up for take out. Order was ready ahead of the estimated time which was great since we arrived a bit early. Loved the pizza rolls, nachos and chocolate chip cookies!

Anna T: Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options too!

Daisy F. (Daisy F.): Update: went in for fries, very crispy, very hot, but not fresh cut.Frozen type with the skin on. Just not the same as last time. 😐Best fries!!! Fresh cut, crispy outside, creamy inside!I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian, but, this place always hits the spot!Service is friendly.Been a few times before and consistently good.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegan!Kid-friendliness: It is.

Alka S.: Shared the "beef"steak sandwich and the jumbo pizza pocket. Both were not okay.. The pizza pocket was a little dry, but hearty and well stuffed. The sandwhich would have benefited with a side, maybe throw some fries on the plate? Fun vibe at the restaurant, and I love the vegan proteins offered. Would go again to try other items on the menuVegetarian options: Everything on the menuWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free-options
