Jim T: I visited here last night to attend a dinner and concert. The concert was awesome it was Gordon Hendricks as Elvis, and his performance was outstanding. The dinner was a 4 course meal that was delicious, and very filling! I really enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken it was battered to perfection, and the meat was very tender and juicy! The dessert was a banana pudding that tasted delicious. All the staff there was very pleasant, and always greeted you with a smile on their face. The waitstaff are very hard workers, and us all at our table were amazed on how many dishes they can carry all at once. Fantastic night, fantastic people. I would definitely consider coming to another attraction in the near future, and I highly recommend this establishment for all your entertainment needs, catering, and engagements.

Carmine Chiappetta [Staff]: This is my second review in since January 2023. My first one was regarding Hector Esquivar, who is one of the biggest reasons we opted to choose this banquet centre. My partner can go on and on about Hector and his excellence.However, this review is regarding Taylor Barbet. She has been absolutely amazing. She has fulfilled each and every request my partner and I have had. I know at times we can be a lot, but with Taylor's patience, understanding, and exceptional listening skills, it really has been a smooth and stress free process. Her knowledge and expertise have also been very beneficial these last few months.I high recommend Carmen's Banquet Centre for any function, and hopefully you'll have the pleasure to work with Hector and Taylor the way my partner and I have.Carmine&Sarah

Ronald Myers: Yesterday we attended a celebration of life for Emily Kusmirski at White Eagle banquet hall, a hidden jewel in Hamiltons east end..the smaller of 2 halls was very nice.. the food was served family style, and delicious: salad & roll, meatballs in sauce, potatoes, chicken cutlet, mixed veg, & sweet tray, tea & coffee.As we were leaving I caught a glimpse of a much bigger hall, decorated for a wedding, the event planner kindly showed me the beautifully decorated room..I would highly recommend White Eagle banquet hall for an event, and will pass the word..I would love for these ladies to cater for future family events..please forward menu, prices & contact person..many thanks Ron
Gregory Zbigniewicz: A beautiful hall. would have never expected for it to be that beautiful for this location. Had a stag here, and a first holy communion. Amazing, caring staff. They will accommodate anything within your budget. The food is to die for, the grandmas/babcias in the kitchen know how to cook great authentic Polish food. Cassandra Sagodi: and they came through for us on short notice. They prepared meatballs and gravy, chicken cutlets, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes with dill and salad. Coffee and tea was also included, we provided our own drinks. They quoted us at one price but came in way under budget. When we went to see the space we'd be using they had already had our tables up and ready to go. The room was perfect for what we needed.The food was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and efficient 7 tables one server, he did an amazing service and clean up.. Highly recommend their services to anyone who needs a hall for a day.

With the help of the staff and my wedding planner, they transformed the venue into a magical evening.I worked with Agata and Stan. They were very helpful throughout the entire process. Food is always incredible, you will not go hungry.Service overall good

It has been at least 5 years since the last time I visited this banquet hall and I was so touched that these special staff members remembered me. They interact with thousands of patrons every year but they have a way of making one feel special and I appreciate it dearly.Our son had his grade 8 graduation on June 21 at the hall. It was a night to remember! Everything was wonderful from the food to the atmosphere! Thank you for making my son's grad so perfect for his classmates, staff and families.Our son had so much fun dancing to the d.j. that night that he accidentally lost the gold crucifix charm that hung from his gold chain. Would you believe that the staff at Michelangelo's found this lost item?! I cannot express my gratitude for the hard work and dedication put in by this incredible team!If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend Michelangelo's Banquet Hall. nicole carobelli: My fiancé & I just hosted our Stag and Doe at Michaelangelo's Friday June 2nd and I wish I could give them not only 5 stars with this review, they deserve a million stars for the service they provided! We hosted 750+ people on Friday night and it was the most beautiful, organized event! The food was AMAZING! Everyone was talking about how fresh and tasty the food was and how clean the hall is! As the bride and groom, we felt no stress as Sal and Dana had everything under control, they are AMAZING! Sal organized the event with my dad and made sure every aspect of the event was pure perfection! We met Sal on Friday, the day of the event and wow! what a wonderful man he is! He made sure that we were happy! Dana is incredible!!!!!!!! When we were there Friday afternoon setting up the hall she was there for every moment of it and helped us with whatever we needed done to make our night perfect! She made sure everything went according to plan from when we arrived there in the afternoon all the way until the event was complete. Sal and Dana truly care about the events that they host, that's why they are very well know and the hall has been around forever! Thank you for making our event so amazing and putting in the care and hard work that you did. Alexandra Schembri: My husband and I got married at the Waterfront Centre this past weekend and could not be happier with our choice to hold our reception here! Claire helped us with our wedding planning and was incredible. She was very responsive, answering any question I had leading up to the day. Mike was on-site for the duration of the wedding and checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay. The food was wonderful. We got the steakhouse package. I had multiple people tell me how much they loved the pistachio pasta and the steak. Everyone was also raving about the late night room! The public docks outside of the venue are beautiful for taking photos. We also got the entertainment package. The photo booth and light up batons were such a hit!

The whole process is so easy and straightforward. The meetings we had were very useful and helped with planning. Ashlie took over for Edu but the transition was seamless, she knew all about our previous planning was just as nice to work with. On the day of, everything ran so smoothly and we had such a great time. Everything looked beautiful and the decor and set-up was stunning. The food was absolutely amazing! Our friends and family are still talking about it! The team was so great! Ashlie got us all set up and Mike, Claire and the rest of the staff took care of us all night! It was such a great time and we are so thankful we had our wedding at the Waterfront Centre!

The abundance and quality of food offered at the late night buffet was another thing guests were raving about, SO GOOD!The venue itself it stunning with views of the Hamilton waterfront. We had around 175 guests and it never felt cramped, it was the perfect amount of space! The decor they offer was fabulous and made it so much easier for end of the night clean up.Eduvina and Ashlie helped plan our wedding and Claire and Mike were there throughout the night making sure everything was under control and on time. They all did a fabulous job!!The bartenders did an amazing job keeping up with the number of people we had, there was never a long line - something we were concerned about from other weddings we have been to. If there was a longer line, Mike would run behind the bar to help catch up!I would recommended this venue to anyone! The level of stress alleviated by their all inclusive approach was amazing!

The day of coordinator, Claire, was absolutely a doll too making sure everything was excellent throughout the night.Even pickup was a breeze. They suggested we picked up our extra things the following Monday so we didnt feel panicked or rushed the night of. This was a smooth convenience I am thankful for.We have been on cloud 9 since July and honestly, a big part of that was because of this hall. I could relive that day every day if I could. Thank you so much waterfront banquet. You have our word of mouth and our memories forever!!!!!!

Christina Kennedy: We had our wedding at Lakeview and it was everything we hoped for. Giona was the best Maître D we could ask for and super attentive. Alessia was great with all the prearrangements and planning leading up to the day. The atmosphere was amazing and romantic! It did get a bit hot at the end of the evening but nothing we couldn't deal with and wouldn't change the venue over.We also took our wedding party pictures at the venue and all the photos turned out amazing because of the view.I remember looking for reviews before booking on the quality of the food and didn't find many. I want to say that the food was AMAZING!! We had Caesar salad, basil penne pasta, chicken with French service beef, and cheesecake mouse for dessert. Everything was well plated and prepared.Thank you to all the Lakeview team for making our day memorable.

Ivona Tomic: My husband and I had our wedding recently at the Grand Olympia, and we cannot be more happy with not only the service but the overall experience of the venue.The manager Caela, was exceptionally helpful and attended to all of our requests.Not only is she the sweetest person but her client service skills are astounding. Through out the whole process from start to finish she has answered all of our questions and helped with making our day run as smooth as possible.The venue itself is beautiful, their recent renovation really show cases a certain level of class and beauty.I also had my bridal shower in one of the upstairs halls, and once again the decoration and food did not disappoint.For our wedding we had the hall decorated by Elizabeth who is the in-house decorator, and we cannot say enough about how stunning it all came out. I had a certain vision in mind and she has definitely surpassed it!As for the food, Melissa the chef did an outstanding job. The meals were very flavourful and fresh. Till this day we have our friends and family talk about how good the food was.If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming wedding, bridal shower, birthday, etc. I highly highly recommend The Grand Olympia, the staff, the venue, the food, and the overall vibe is astounding. 😊

If quality of food is important to you as it is to us, Liuna's executive chef and culinary team are truly amazing and talented. To this day, guests from our wedding are still commenting on how good the food was...especially the Antipasto Bar, 10/10!
