Peter Martonosi: Jumpstart Dj is absolutely amazing. Their sound and lighting package is astounding. They do an all request event and encourage your playlist. They are definitely a can do service, what you want they can do. Their wedding ceremony package is second to none and they can even provide sound and music in remote places with no electricity and will definitely create that special moment. I highly recommend them and assure you, you won't be disappointed. Their pricing is competitive and reasonable.

The sound was professionally done and the song selections were accurate. That my friends is what a professional does. I am a musician/entertainer and I have been in the industry for over 50 years now. Very few DJ's have satisficed my criteria like Peter has. His ability to overcome situations and adapt in a split second shows who he really is. The reason I laughed is because these negative reviews were either false, or falsely perceived.My wedding experience with Jumpstart DJ was impeccable. Not only did he accurately capture the energy and ambiance of the evening, he was a joy to work with and was very straight forward which is very necessary in this business. My father is also a professional entertainer, and I used to help him out with his past entertainer career so I can tell you with the utmost confidence that JumpStart DJs professionalism reliability, light system, and sound system as well as his knowledge of music, particularly knowing when and how to mix songs together and playlists is absolutely untouchable. I highly recommend this service. A DJ or even live band is something that should not be done cheaply. They make the party. I guarantee jumpstart Dj will deliver. Thanks Peter.

S. Nagy: Jason and Lida were great to work with. They arrived on time, set up, and played all the songs we requested. Our guests had a great time! They even took some photos and videos during the cake cutting and dance, which was very helpful to us.The only complaint we had was their assistant, who they offered to have MC for us. He was supposed to run a series of trivia questions. When it was time, he walked over to the food tables and mumbled into the microphone for an embarrassing couple of minutes, until my husband and I took over. For the whole night, he sat at the table with the DJs looking bored out of his mind. Not a great look for a party.

We asked Lee to set up in three different locations at our venue. He had no problem doing this. Our wedding ceremony was outside in the snow, and Lee made it possible for us to have great quality music and a microphone outside followed by music and microphone in a different room for cocktail hour and finally a third set-up in the ballroom for our reception. He put on a FANTASTIC party. The dance floor was full the entire night!! I would recommend Lee without hesitation to anyone!! He provided us with a exceptional service with ZERO stress!

Erin Mans: Lee was our wedding DJ, recommended to us by our photographer, and we were so happy with his service! He responded promptly to our e-mails and answered all of our questions so well. He also served as our MC and did a great job - he was flexible, professional, and well-spoken. We had created a list of songs for Lee, but for certain times like while guests were arriving, during dinner service and during cocktail hour, we asked him to select songs under certain genres like "Classical" and "Disney Classical", light music generally. His song choices were outstanding! I received many complements from my friends and family about the music. And of course, the dancing at the end of the night was perfect - everyone took part at some point. My husband and I are so grateful that we chose Lee as our DJ and would recommend him to anyone who asks!

Audrey Aiken: DJ Lee was awesome from begining to end. He was flexible in planning the initial consultation meeting and even came to us in a different city. Lee came prepared and gave us great suggestions as well as lots of details to give some advanced consideration to. He was easily reachable via email and consistently had a fast response time. During the wedding, Lee came early and was able to play in a number of settings. His music choice was excellent all night and was able to reflect our preferences as well as those of various ages for the time of night. Lee was super flexible and was able to adapt to last minute changes with a smile on his face. We absolutely loved having him DJ our wedding and can't recommend him strongly enough!

The DJ, Marco, was really professional and a pleasure to speak with throughout the day. He hit all the song checkboxes for us and took requests to get people on the dance floor. We had heard they provided excellent service and anyone that had used them for an event commented on how great the DJ's were at reading the crowd and getting the party going. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Tom @ Sound Obsession was incredibly flexible moving our date three times as a result of the pandemic. Communication was continuous and thorough and their app made for a very easy process when discussing the flow for the evening.Vince was the DJ at our wedding and he was awesome! Again excellent communication, had a great eye for the crowd and really got the party going. Angelo Marguglio: We had scheduled our 50 person wedding at the Paletta Mansion almost a year and a half prior to the date when this awful pandemic first raised it's ugly head. We thought for sure the nightmare would be over but instead the months flew by and by the grace of you know what we were able to miraculously pull it off.There were what seemed to be hundreds of last minute things to worry about at the time but fortunately for us the music was not one of them. Sound Obsession came HIGHLY recommended by the catering company. Tom is not only a GREAT DJ but he is an even better person. He was also our master of ceremonies which allowed all our guests to just enjoy themselves. Although we briefly told him our must songs for the ceremony, he read the audience perfectly and it was a great tune after another. Harley Sanderson: We found Greg on a list of top DJs in Hamilton and he lived up to the hype! His communication leading up to the day was great, email responses were quick and addressed all my concerns. He incorporated all songs we wanted played, included traditional European songs and added more songs to fill in the night and keep up with the vibe on the dance floor. He mixed songs for us nicely prior to the day so our transitions were smooth and he was quick to adjust if the itinerary of the evening changed on the spot. His pricing was the most reasonable of all DJs we researched and many of our guests complimented him and our choice of him. We have recommended him to friends getting married and would recommend him to anyone else looking!

Maddie D: Highly recommend Hollywood DJ Services!Alex was our DJ at our wedding this past July, and he was amazing! I was super careful when choosing a DJ because of all things at our wedding, the music is one of the things I cared most about, and I was so happy with our decision to hire him. He went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. He checked in with us frequently as our MC, and had great advice for how to keep on track with our timeline. He even noticed that our venue was somehow missing chairs for some guests for the ceremony, and made it a point to fix this with our wedding coordinator prior to starting! The online planning system is easy to use with a wide selection of songs to choose from. Even when songs we wanted for special moments like the first dance were not available in the library, he had us email him the Youtube or Spotify link to ensure that we had the important songs we wanted. Alex has a great ability to "read the room" and would switch up songs if it seems like people weren't into it, and he was able to identify the genres and decades of songs that got our guests running back to the dancefloor. Overall a wonderful experience, we could not say enough good things about Alex. Our guests loved him! Would recommend in a heartbeat!

He was also in constant communication with our MC, which helped a lot. During dancing, the dance floor was NEVER empty and throughout the night I had so many guests comment on how great our DJ was. Even after our wedding, I still have guests telling me how amazing Alex was. I will continue to recommend Alex and Hollywood DJ Service to everyone. Laura: We worked with Alex for our wedding day DJ and he was a joy to work with. He was very responsive to emails, he had a very fair price with all the equipment add ons you could want and was very professional. He even came for a site visit before the wedding and gave us tips on how to improve the set up. We had a DJ floor, separate outside aisle area and an acoustic guitar with singer and he made it all work. During the reception he was our MC and was very charming. Right after dinner he saw people wanted to party and not relax and he changed the music without being asked. He kept the party going all night and knew what kind of music the crowd would react best too. I will be recommending him to my friends/ family when they get married. Great job Alex!
Patrick Drabicki: Wedding Date Jan 2023. Alex really made the task of finding a great dj very easy. He was very quick to respond and was able to guide us in helping to time the event properly. He was able to get all of the songs we wanted and was able to play them exactly how we wanted. We got the photo booth which was a blast that everyone enjoyed. My wife was extremely happy with the choice of DJ which was also good news. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great DJ with a great attitude and really listens to what you are looking for.

Alex was phenomenal throughout the process and on the day of the wedding and we couldn't be happier.When we were planning out the floor plan and were uncertain about his power requirements & floor position, Alex took the effort to come visit us to walk through all of the details. On the day of the wedding, he did a phenomenal job tailoring the music to our tastes, our cultures, and to the crowd energy. We hadn't planned for an MC for the minor announcements so he happily stepped in and got himself familiarized with all of the details. When we had a couple of minor hiccups, he was always calm and worked with the other staff to fix them without causing us to worry or even letting that affect the energy of crowd.Overall, we were incredibly pleased with having HollyWood DJ as both our DJ and photo booth!
Derek Wong: Alex was beyond awesome!We hired Alex to be our DJ for our wedding and boy he was amazing. My wife and I had made a playlist worth about 3 weddings but Alex was able to grasp our genre so well and pieced together the playlist so flawlessly that we had so many people come up to us and compliment how great the music was that evening. Our photographers finished up early and Alex went above and beyond and took photos for us during the evening and for the bouquet toss that we otherwise would not have any document of! I appreciated that so much! Our parents are also a little shy so when we told him we needed to keep the father-daughter and mother-son dances to a minimum, Alex knew exactly where to perfectly cut the song so that everything went smoothly and did not end abruptly. We are so thankful for him being on our team on our wedding day! 1000000% recommend!
