While we were waiting, they served us complimentary, delicious tea and falafel. It was so unexpected and sweet.We ordered the chicken sandwich, falafel sandwich, and grape leaves, all of which were amazing.I can't wait to come back and introduce more folks to this hidden gem.

Jesse Seheult: When we were there we were greeted by Michael. Michael was absolutely fantastic smiling and laughing with us as we were joking around. He was patient with us not having had African food before. He was very thorough in explaining the different dishes and giving his recommendations. We ended up ordering the Shrimp, Choma, and Mbuzi, and shared between the three and each dish was beyond expectations. Everything was very delicious and we could not have asked for a better taste. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is unsure about African cuisine and is curious to try. I will DEFINITELY be coming back! 5 Stars!!!

For a Monday evening the place was busy, which was nice to see.As an FYI, there is no parking onsite but we found plenty of street parking and if you plan to indulge, a taxi/Uber is the best option. 5 stars all around!! Without question, they had placed our large group in a private dining room, our waters were constantly refilled and asked how we were doing. We ordered 3 bone-in ribeye steaks and a few of their sides, the 1000 layer potato comes highly recommended and did not disappoint. This place was a show stopper and would return for a date night for a more intimate experience.

Sidhu Family: The staff is friendly and the service is good. Really liked the pizza and the pasta. It's right in the heart of the city! Love the ambience; they have a huge patio with benches in the back and the wood oven pizza is in the indoor dining area which adds to the homely feeling. Burning candles with wax melted over, exposed brick walls is the look they are going for. Food is decently priced; just didn't like that they charge for chili oil as must Italian restaurants I've frequented don't do so. I've been to Italy and I wasn't even charged there. Just a suggestion for the restaurant to consider.
Vanessa Marie: I am writing a review from the end of June when I took my daughter and I here for the first time. We had really excellent service by our younger male server. Loved the cosy vibe inside and our pastas were incredible. Mine was Agnolotti Di Funghi and although delicious, $29 for a bowl of pasta is over the top. We also wanted calamari as an appetizer but they ran out so we got the grilled octopus, all 3 pieces of it, loaded with fingerling potatoes. I was not impressed. But otherwise a very pleasant and enjoyable place to dine and have drinks.
Laura Ricker: This was our first time at this Italian restaurant, tucked away on the vibrant James St N. It came highly recommended by friends and we can see why! Amazing service, good, quality, and attention to detail. The gnocchi was to die for, everyone wanted a bite! The carbonara is also delicious and they make a mean negroni and cappuccino.Would definitely suggest eating here. The atmosphere is great too and they played awesome music. Very hip, but good for all ages. My sister and I are in our 40’s and our mum is in her 80’s and we all loved it. Will definitely be back.
Alison & Aria Pipe: I rarely go 5 stars on every category but I truely enjoyed beyond words.Staff were INCREDIBLE. RICKY IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A HUMAN AND WAS TOP KNOTCH 👌FOOD WAS GOOD. DRINKS WERE NICE. AND THE DINING ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE PATIO IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND INSTAGRAMABLE
