Jenny Freeman: One of the best thrift stores I've been too. The people are friendly, the store is clean and the prices are affordable.

Drop ‘n’ Shop is a thrift store operated by Community Living Hamilton, in partnership with the City of Hamilton. We accept a wide variety of pre-owned and gently used items for sale, including kitchenware, books, jewelry, toys, furniture, clothing and other goods. All money generated from the sales at the Drop ‘n’ Shop are reinvested in Community Living Hamilton programs and services. For people with diverse abilities, these programs are life changing.
The store is located at the Community Recycling Centre on the East Mountain, 37 Kilbride Road (Upper Ottawa & Rymal Road) in Hamilton. Telephone: 905-385-3434.
Although we truly appreciate you donating your gently used items to Community Living Hamilton, unfortunately there are some items that we cannot accept:

ROCK OFF: Great place to get cool unique stuff. I found a diamond in the rough, echo and under armour shirts and more. The new staff is very friendly and helped me find what I needed.
Paul Seney: I would give this place ten stars! First off, a great selection of vintage items in a well-lit and accessible environment. The staff was terrific, and I found some nearly new Logitech headphones for $8. Not to mention that this store supports sustainability, ESG, SDG, and climate action by reusing valuable items so they don't end up in our landfills. Finally, the proceeds of this store support inclusion and belonging for people in the Hamilton area! This is a win-win! Check it out!
K O: A thrifting Haven, thank you to all the staff who make it possible to buy quality items for such reasonable prices. I compared them to Once Upon a Child, Value Village, Bibles for Missions and this is by far the best for children's items.I've found some shoes that were nearly new for $5 and some unique items. I love that the items don't end up at a landfill and they train adults with special needs by working at the shop. So much to love and worth checking out!

Jim Beer: Eva has had this business there for decades. She's a charming, old school, proprietor. Always on the ball with her holiday/seasonal window displays. The clothing is consistently high quality and brand name. Some vintage stuff in good shape too. I've been going there for years and am happy to have moved just up the street from The Revolving Closet on Ottawa st. She also has graduation gowns and stuff for new grads at low prices.
