Mike Hall: I was given a Simonize pressure washer. It comes with a useless coil spring hose that you are constantly fighting with while trying to use the machine. I wanted to convert it over to a standard pressure washer hose and wand. I was at Princess Auto and collected most of the parts I needed to do 90% of the job. The only catch was that I needed some way to connect the quick disconnect coupler to the pressure line coming from the washer.Apparently Simonize uses an odd ball thread on the pressure line that you can't find in the usual large hardware stores. I went to see Matt at Industrial Hose and Hydraulics. Matt was able to figure out the thread pattern and then he was able offer a single fitting that was able to connect the parts together and the cost was very reasonable.Some industrial suppliers don’t like dealing with non-industrial customers but Matt was up for the challenge and I was given the same attention and courtesy as a commercial account spending hundreds of dollars. I was pleased with being able to get the pressure washer running again at a reasonable cost. Give them a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed. I will be recommending them to my friends.

Big Serb: I’ve been shopping at Emco for a few years now and I’d like to explain the reason why I go here rather then a big box store is simple customer service, now I know people think they may get a better price going elsewhere but I’m sorry I would rather not spend an hour in a return line when my time is more valuable then the few dollars I’m saving somewhere else.The level of customer service you get here is beyond the initial purchase these people go out of there way to help you even after the sale and that’s something that we use to experience all the time back in the day but unfortunately very few businesses have kept that quality. Nedder Rad: I went to a big box store to pick up a check valve and ABS pipe for a sump pump that I had purchased. After going back 3 times because I couldn't get anything to fit the check valve, I passed by EMCO on Kenilworth and went in. They showed me the issue and put most of it together for me and explained how everything worked as this was my first sump pump. They even cut a length of 8'ft ABS for me so it fit into my car. They were a big help. Their pricing is comparable to the big box stores, but the service and advice is excellent. I will go back whenever I need plumbing supplies and help as to how to complete a job properly.
